It is very intuitive and user-friendly . I have no coding experience and it was simple enough for me to start working right away . It is very easy to add content and you can customize whatever you want. **What do you dislike about Shoutem?** The only aspect I'm unhappy with is I wish I had known when I first started their team can do a custom page for you! **Recommendations to others considering Shoutem:** Yes, it's awesome! **What problems is Shoutem solving and how is that benefiting you?** I haven't had any problems other than with my own skill set! Then, if the client is satisfied with the protoype, we can create the functional app reusing the prototype, accelerating more the process. ### 5. Drag and drop interface means that even someone with zero technical skills can get a custom app up and running in relatively short order. Allows you to customize pretty much everything down to a tee. Great for agencies to resell to clients as a cost-effective solution for the cresting wave that is mobile apps. **What do you dislike about Shoutem?** Customer support is not good. On many occasions my team has had serious issues with reaching customer support, sometimes going 7-10 days before receiving a response. It wasn't until I personally emailed the CEO three times did they start taking initiative on bugs, malfunctions, and the like. Typically we have problems with the Android version of our client's mobile app. The go to solution from Shoutem is to have the user delete the app off of their phone and then reinstall. I liken this solution to someone asking if the power is on -- lazy, unhelpful, and not at all concerned with the client or the agency. The data stored in the mobile app (from users, admins, etc.) does not appear to be one hundred percent in real time. In other words, it lags behind, which is a big problem when we receive phone calls from disenchanted users because we can not see exactly what it is that is going wrong with their app. **Recommendations to others considering Shoutem:** Make sure you are not solely reliant on their support staff because they will leave you wanting more. Overall, I recommend the product if the situation calls for low cost and quick turn around times. If a client (or your company) does not want to take a huge risk in developing its own custom app in house, then Shout em will probably be sufficient. **What problems is Shoutem solving and how is that benefiting you?** Had multiple clients that wanted to add a mobile app to their marketing mix. They wanted to add to the mix in the most cost effective manner, so we sourced out five or six of these do it yourself type mobile app building solutions. Shoutem was the cheapest and allowed for the most customization, which was really beneficial for our clients.
