Thus ensuring a better security strategy. **What do you dislike about Shodan?** What I don’t like about Shodan is that when ever a request is made for a certain requirement the output is not well structured in terms of the data being displayed. **What problems is Shodan solving and how is that benefiting you?** Me working in a brand protection team basically needs tools like shodan for certain client assets that includes Ports and IP adresses. Shodan does solve this requirement and using its API we are able to integrate it to aid automating reports aswell. ### 3. This visibility allows me to identify potential assets that might be exposed to the internet and not only my own asset but it has ability to show the reputable of an IP address to help me in cybersecurity field as analyst. **What do you dislike about Shodan?** The downsides are is the information available on Shodan could be used by threat actors for malicious purposes, such as identifying potential targets for cyberattacks or unauthorized access. Shodan powerful features are also available to threat actors that might use toward my own assets. **What problems is Shodan solving and how is that benefiting you?** Shodan benefiting me by provides a fast way to see the open ports for an IP address and it gives a quick, at-a-glance view of the type of device that is running behind an IP address to help me make decisions based on the open ports. ### 4. Shodan works like another search engine like Google, but Google indexing website, Shodan indexes the devices connected publically. Many times juicy information from companies like Passwords, Usernames, Hidden APIs, and Token reports get the reward. **What do you dislike about Shodan?** Each product has some limitations with great features. Criminal mind people use this product to hack your webcam and hijack the smart application connected to the internet. **Recommendations to others considering Shodan:** I'll recommend this great product to other Bug Hunter, Penetration Testers and Security Researchers to recon the target from Shodan to get fruitful results. We can find out very critical information about target leaking out publically. **What problems is Shodan solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a Bug hunter using this product to collect maximum information about the target like country information, network infrastructure, ports and operating system of the target. Also an available lot of information about Cisco devices and other companies' devices. ### 5.
