Shinnpad Reviews & Product Details

Shinnpad is lesson management software built for independent music teachers: the private instructors who teach at several schools a week, bill families themselves, and do their own books at tax time. Scheduling that understands school days: set up each campus with its own bell schedule and rates, mark A/B (red/green) day rotations once, and import district calendars so holidays and testing days never collide with lessons. Getting paid without the chasing: families keep a card on file and autopay the exact amount owed per lesson, paid straight into the teacher's own bank through Stripe. One-click reminders let everyone else pay from a link. A parent portal where families see upcoming lessons, notes and balances, and pay from their phone. Bookkeeping and tax in plain language: Shinnpad works out business mileage between campuses from the lesson schedule, tracks expenses and receipts, calculates the home-office deduction, sends quarterly-tax reminders, and produces a year-end Schedule C summary a CPA can use. Built by a former band director who now teaches private lessons. Free for up to 10 students; paid plans start at $8.99/month, never per student.
