ShiftDispatch Reviews & Product Details

ShiftDispatch is employee scheduling and workforce coordination software for shift-based teams. It helps staffing coordinators and operations managers build accurate schedules, assign staff to worksites and roles, publish changes, manage open-shift coverage, and keep team communication connected to the current plan. The browser-based platform is designed for school security and extra-duty programs, private security companies, event staffing teams, hospitality operators, field service organizations, and other distributed workforces. The free ShiftDispatch Builder works without signup or a credit card. Coordinators can create weekly schedules, import staff and setup data from spreadsheets, save drafts locally in the browser, print schedules, and publish time-limited read-only links with QR codes. Builder is useful for teams that need a fast way to replace spreadsheets and manually shared schedule documents. ShiftDispatch Pro starts at $49 per month for up to 25 active staff. Pro adds shared cloud workspaces, mobile staff access, live schedule updates, notifications, reminders, confirmations, open-shift responses, announcements, group conversations, and direct messaging. Staff can review assignments, confirm upcoming work, respond to available shifts when enabled, and receive updates when schedules change. Coordinators maintain one reliable view of who is working, where they are assigned, and when coverage is needed. By combining schedule creation, distribution, confirmations, coverage management, and operational messaging, ShiftDispatch reduces the risk of outdated schedules, scattered communications, and manual follow-up. Teams can start with the free Builder and move to Pro when they need real-time coordination and shared access. Enterprise plans are available with custom pricing for organizations with broader workforce scheduling requirements. ShiftDispatch runs in a web browser and does not require native desktop software.
