"Powerful and easy-to-use site software that transforms how teams deliver"
What do you like best about Shape Construction?

Shape gives project teams everything they need to manage their daily and weekly delivery in one place—without the clutter. The tools are incredibly intuitive, so site engineers, planners and commercial leads adopt it quickly. The Weekly Planner, Shift Reports and Issue Tracker are fully integrated, which means you always know what’s being done, what’s blocked, and what to do about it. No more Excel sheets or chasing updates across email threads. It’s the first platform we’ve used that actually fits into site teams’ daily flow while also giving senior management the records they need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shape Construction?

Shape is laser-focused on daily and weekly delivery, which is great—but if you're looking for tools for long-term portfolio planning or highly customised dashboards, you’ll need to integrate with your existing platforms. Some users might also expect a more extensive suite of features out of the box, but Shape’s strength is that it keeps things simple and effective, without overwhelming teams. "Versatile Solution with Strong Data Insights"
What do you like best about Shape Construction?

I like how Shape Construction provides deep insights into the activity on the project, not just the blockers and issues faced by the team, but the detailed data capture relating to specific activities. It allows me to see the time spent, delay events, and even the materials and plant used for those tasks, all documented in an easy-to-access place to ensure accurate record keeping. The ability to capture detailed data and insights is valuable, as it helps identify project trends effortlessly with visuals from the 'Data Book'. Shape Construction seamlessly links site conversations and concerns back to the office, ensuring delivery is monitored without loss of information. The tool also allows me to review the team's engagement and data capture quality, helping improve consistency. Additionally, the setup was relatively easy with excellent support from their customer service team, and its versatility and connectivity between site and office teams impressed us. What do you dislike about Shape Construction?

Shape has a useful weekly work plan tool that allows my team to manage their weekly plan and coordinate. However, in my role as the Lead planner, its functionality and collaboration with software such as P6 and Asta can be difficult. It easily allows for Excel imports, but the activities housed within Shape itself can become difficult to manage and map out in the plans when attempting to pull a direct activity from the master program import. I feel this would be better managed if the weekly planner was adapted to represent a program in its entirety and then managed through time slices and delegation, learning a bit from how a similar app called Aphex functions.
