**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** vignesh m. | admin, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

I use ServiceNow Security Operations because it provides a single place to manage and track incidents, making it easy to assign tasks, monitor progress, and keep everything updated throughout the process. The dashboard offers a clear view of open incidents and their statuses, which helps my team stay organized and ensures nothing gets missed during investigations. We can quickly see all open incidents without having to ask for updates, allowing us to focus on high-priority issues first.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

I find the user interface could be improved since some tasks require multiple clicks to complete. It would be helpful if commonly used actions were easier to access and required fewer clicks. A cleaner layout and simpler navigation would make it easier for new users.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use ServiceNow Security Operations to centralize our incident management, improve visibility into our investigations, and ensure a consistent workflow. It helps us stay organized, prioritize high-priority issues, and keeps us updated with a clear dashboard view of all incidents.

  ### 2. All Security Tools in One Place with Fast, Automated Playbooks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam R. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

The best in it is that it brings all our security tools and alerting systems into one place and lets us launch automated playbooks immediately. We used to bounce between different consoles all day, but now that workload is managed much more smoothly. I can focus on real threats, and response times stay very short without all the constant switching.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

The initial setup is very complicated. Getting integrations dialed in takes a lot of time, and if anything is even slightly off, the whole process stalls.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem this solved for our business was the constant flood of alerts and the need to jump between several tools all day. Now it helps by bringing incidents together in one place and automatically ranking them, so we can kick off the right playbooks and stay focused on the real threats.

  ### 3. Efficient, Time-Saving, But Overwhelming for Some

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** uzma I. | Technical Support Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

I really like that ServiceNow Security Operations is easy to use and saves time. It automates the task and monitors activities effectively while ensuring compliance, making our work easy and reliable. The tool is accurate and saves time when dealing with scam and fraud-related queries by automating repetitive tasks, allowing us to focus on other important details.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

Everything works well for me as far as I've used it, but I did notice that for a very non-tech savvy person, it gets a bit difficult to cope with all the dashboard functions as there is too much that they do not need.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ServiceNow Security Operations automates incident investigation and compliance management, saving time and ensuring accuracy. It helps manage multiple client accounts efficiently by performing repetitive tasks, freeing up time to focus on other details.

  ### 4. Unifies Security and IT with Efficient Threat Response and Automation

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

What I like best about ServiceNow Security Operations is how it brings security and IT teams together on a single platform. Instead of relying on disconnected tools and manual processes, it helps organizations identify, prioritize, and respond to threats more efficiently. I also appreciate its automation capabilities, which reduce repetitive work and help security teams stay focused on higher-value tasks. It's frontend is very great and user friendly which also helps us to interact. Ultimately, it helps us to increase our company's growth and performance at Price.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

One challenge with ServiceNow security operations is that it can have a steep learning curve, especially for the organizations that are new to the platform or have complex workflows setting it up and customizing it requires careful planning and experienced administrators. However, once it is implemented effectively, the automation, integration and visibility, it provides the initial investment of time and effort worthwhile.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ServiceNow Security operations addresses key challenges such as fragmented security workflows, slow incident response, alert fatigue, and manual remediation processes. By integrating security tools and automating detection, investigation and response, it helps security teams to detect MTTD and mean time to response MTTR which improves operational efficiency and strengthen overall security posture.

  ### 5. Improves Security Posture with Strong Playbooks and Orchestration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bilal L. | Marketing Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

ServiceNow Security Operations is a set of applications that connects IT security with our team to help improve our security posture. I like that it brings together incident reports from endpoints, SIEM, and the firewall. Another advantage is its unique options for playbooks and orchestration, which support a more intelligent workflow.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

When dealing with a high volume of alerts, the alerting system can feel overwhelming. It likely needs some tuning to reduce the chance of false positives and to ensure that threats are highlighted accurately.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It pulls data from third-party tools and maps it against the CMDB to show the security status of assets and services, helping connect threat intelligence to reduced technical and business severity. The UI dashboards and reports are very useful, and they provide a complete view of threats and cyber alerts.

  ### 6. Clean, Intuitive UI That Catches Vulnerabilities Early

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darlene L. | Lead Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

My personal favourite is the user interface, which turns overwhelming security alerts into a clean, intuitive layout that immediately feels stabilising. It uses its AI capabilities to spot even tiny vulnerabilities early, before they can ripple outward and compromise the enterprise’s operations.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

Every single feature works exceptionally well, the interface is a breeze to navigate, and it handles heavy security tasks without a single hitch. It is rare to find a tool that feels this complete and reliable.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dealing with a constant flood of security alerts used to stress me out completely, and I was always worried about missing something important. This tool solves that exact problem by automatically organizing and sorting everything for me. It removes all the boring manual work and makes sure urgent warnings are never missed.

  ### 7. Centralized, Automated Security Workflows with ServiceNow Security Operations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himanshu J. | Founder, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

ServiceNow Security Operations is useful when you want security workflows to feel less chaotic and less dependent on scattered tools or manual coordination. Incident response workflows, case management and integrations with broader ServiceNow processes are where it stands out.
I liked the ability to centralize investigations and automate repetitive triage steps instead of analysts manually moving information around.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

Setup complexity is the obvious downside. This isn’t something you casually deploy and immediately get value from. Workflows, integrations, playbooks and ownership models all need planning.
The interface can also feel heavy for teams that just want lightweight incident tooling. Pricing also clearly targets enterprise buyers.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves fragmented security operations. Instead of incidents living across email, SIEM tools, spreadsheets and chat threads, response workflows become more structured and auditable.

  ### 8. Clean, Intuitive Dashboard with AI Automation That Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anddrew A. | Senior QA Automation Specialist, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

The UI/UX is clean and easy to navigate once we become familiar with it, making it simple to track vulnerabilities and incidents from one dashboard. The AI and automation features have successfully reduced repetitive tasks by running playbooks in the background, allowing me to focus on higher-priority security work.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

The initial deployment framework demanded specialized administrative expertise that I simply lacked in-house, making setup an uphill battle.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From a performance perspective, the platform processes large numbers of alerts efficiently. The duplicate work has been reduced as the integrations connect well with security and IT tools. While the pricing may be higher than some alternatives, the ROI is clear because it has saved time, improved productivity, and lowered operational risk.

  ### 9. Reliable Performance and Integrations That Streamline Security Operations

  ### 10. Centralized Vulnerability Management with Efficient Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kalyan Chakravarthy K. | Sr. Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

I like how ServiceNow Security Operations integrates with Rapid7, making it easy to bring all vulnerabilities into one place. This helps the IT teams handle vulnerabilities centrally without needing to log into Rapid7 for remediation. I appreciate how it groups similar vulnerabilities, making it easier for tech teams to address them collectively. Tagging vulnerabilities to Configuration Items (CIs) and displaying them in the CMDB is another highlight for me. It helps track team workloads and monitor progress in handling incidents, service requests, changes, and vulnerabilities all in one place.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

A few times when the CI's names are not matching, it becomes difficult to map the VR that comes to ServiceNow and don't link to CIs. More ease of use is needed. The visibility linked to the survey is limited and could change.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ServiceNow Security Operations centralizes vulnerabilities and integrates Rapid7, allowing IT teams to handle vulnerabilities in one place, making tech tasks efficient. It groups similar VRs, simplifying solutions and managing exceptions and false positives effortlessly.

I like that the IT Security operations module in ServiceNow Security Operations introduced us to workspaces, which pushed us into using them on top of its already amazing helpful capabilities. The workspace IT Security operations is extremely helpful because it serves as a single pane of glass, eliminating the need to move from system to system or jump around the ServiceNow platform. It also helps us by consolidating data from other platforms like CrowdStrike, getting us the info we need in one place.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

We could always use more information which uses more integrations. I suppose being able to integrate easier with other platforms without the extra cost included with data fabric would be nice.

What I don’t like: the root-cause details feel incomplete. Updates should be tested more carefully before being released. Also, playbook editing isn’t very flexible.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Low investigations are managed by richer context. Delayed remediation is managed by vulnerability response. It is hard to prove value is managed by clear ROI, and so the list goes on.

  ### 14. Confidence-Boosting Platform with Strong Threat Intelligence and CMDB Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Louis B. | Senior Enterprise Account Executive, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

I believe the platform is doing great and just have to keep itself up in the game.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vulnerabilities that might otherwise sit unnoticed are now easy to spot thanks to the vulnerability response feature. We feel more at ease knowing that as operations grow, we don’t need a proportional increase in manual coordination, which has improved our overall ROI. Security reviews also feel more evidence-based and easier to support with clear proof.

  ### 15. Empowers Security Management, Minor Integration Challenges

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liz T. | ServiceNow Senior Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

It's really helpful how ServiceNow can leverage cross-product data for security operations, like using the global user data for 'affected users' in security incident reports (SIR), mapping inbound actions to reporters from the global user table, and making SIR and Vulnerability Response (VR) CMDB aware, including support group routing. This seamless integration allows one practice to leverage data maintained by another, which is extremely beneficial.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

Some of the partner integrations aren't well tested and require a lot of management during patch version changes. We have had a high rate of failure during upgrades for our Tenable integration - features that work in one version break in another.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ServiceNow Security Operations provides consistent and visible management of security incidents and vulnerabilities, leveraging cross-product data for seamless integration. ### 24. A powerful One-Stop-Shop Platform, But Not Quite Plug-and-Play

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

The most helpful bit is probably the fact that it can act as a one-stop-shop - you can integrate a lot of SIEMs / detection tools and ingest everything into one place, which spares you from having to switch between a bazillion different systems. If you're already using SNOW as an ITSM solution, then you can natively link to your CMDB and other ITSM processes which is a big plus for a large enterprise.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

Well, the flipside is this is not a plug & play type of tool and proper implementation and tuning might take month, so it's a heavy deployment. Aside from that, it's also reliant on the quality of your CMDB (garbage in, garbage out principle) - if your CMDB is weak, the SecOps outcomes will be poor. All in all, the truth is it requires maturity & time (+cost) investment to deliver value.

**What problems is ServiceNow Security Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Main business problem = fragmentation (of alerts, vulns, data), so the benefit here is the capacity to centralize everything, followed by prioritizing and automating response via workflows.

  ### 25. Streamlined Security with Easy Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ServiceNow Security Operations?**

I like the functionality of ServiceNow Security Operations and the monitoring and notifications features. The ease of use has already saved our teams time compared to the last tool we used. It was very easy to set up.

**What do you dislike about ServiceNow Security Operations?**
