"A tool for developing virtual services"
5/5
What do you like best about Service Virtualization?

It is an essential tool in software development by enabling both developers and testers in interactions within a system. It focuses on simplifying complex test environments, supports automated testing and integrates with various development tools. It is praised for ease of use and feels that the tool offers more advanced features for complex simulation. It is used for creation of virtual services that behave like real services. It is a reliable and powerful tool useful for large enterprises. It is frequently used for developing the services and it has gained huge customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Service Virtualization?

Initial setup is a time-consuming process. The major drawback is it is costlier when we want to use advanced features. The tool is powerful but often considered complex to set up and use effectively. For large enterprises, the cost is justified, but for small to mid-sized enterprises, the licensing cost is not budget-friendly. Any change in the service behavior requires updates to the virtual services, which is time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Catch the defects before it is too late"
4/5
What do you like best about Service Virtualization?

One can test in virtual services instead of production services. Integration testing can be done much earlier, reduced testing cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Service Virtualization?

None. May be the skills of testers. Many of the existing testers are not skilled in service virtualization or they prefer the old traditional way of developing and testing. A proper change management is required before service virtualization becomes the new culture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good Industry Standard Tool"
4/5
What do you like best about Service Virtualization?

The tool is widely available and one of market leaders in service virtualization. It's easier to use and also compatible in most cases. It helps to save money for not needing to have an actual servers for the applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Service Virtualization?

One of the things I don't really like is the lack of scalability. As the usage increases, it doesn't have an effective way to scale up to meet the growing needs. Also, it's not compatible for some hardwares and applications. You can't virtualize anything with this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
