## About Sequel.io
Sequel runs webinars directly on your website and turns the engagement into first-party data you can use to drive pipeline, personalization, and attribution. Webinars Belong on Your Website Webinars shouldn’t send your best prospects to a third-party destination. Sequel delivers the entire webinar experience on your website, so traffic, brand experience, and conversion paths stay under your control. Webinars are embedded directly into your CMS, not hosted on an external domain. Registration, viewing, CTAs, and follow-up all happen within your owned site—keeping attendees surrounded by your product pages, pricing, and next steps. Instead of siphoning traffic away, webinars contribute to organic traffic, SEO, and conversion. Actionable, First-Party Intent Data Attendance alone isn’t insight. When Sequel is embedded on your website, it unlocks access to a deep data layer that captures how people engage during the webinar and what they do on your website before and after, creating a single behavioral record per person and account. In-event actions like polls, questions, CTAs, and watch time are combined with website behavior and post-event actions such as pricing page visits or demo clicks to create a unified timeline with clean, configurable data pushed directly into CRM and MAP systems—enabling scoring, routing, and follow-up based on real behavior, not assumptions. Faster Follow-Up and Better Attribution Sequel is built to shorten the gap between engagement and action. With real-time sync to Salesforce, HubSpot, and Marketo, teams can map custom engagement fields, trigger alerts and nurture flows, and tie webinars directly to pipeline and revenue—not just MQLs. It’s designed for teams that care about forecast accuracy and ROI credibility. AI-Powered Content Repurposing Extends the Life of Every Event Webinars shouldn’t end when the live session does. Sequel uses AI to turn every event into a scalable content engine—automatically transforming long-form video into high-performing assets that drive ongoing engagement and pipeline. Studio-quality local recordings power better outputs, while AI generates clips, highlights, summaries, written content, and chapters that break replays into navigable, topic-based sections. Sales and marketing can share precise moments instead of entire recordings, fueling SEO, nurture, and on-site discovery without post-production bottlenecks or loss of brand control. Built for Global Audiences Modern B2B audiences are global. Sequel makes it easy to serve international viewers without duplicating programs or fragmenting data. Live AI-powered translations with captions support multiple spoken languages in a single session. On-demand replays include translated subtitles, viewers select their preferred language seamlessly, and AI dubbing enables multilingual versions of webinar content—all within the same owned-site experience. The Foundation of the Intelligent Website Sequel is not just a webinar tool. It’s the starting point for making the website adaptive, personalized, and revenue-aware. Webinars act as high-signal moments to identify intent and interests. Engagement data feeds personalization and recommendations over time. AI summarizes, repurposes, and operationalizes content—setting the groundwork for adaptive web experiences by role, account, or behavior, and evolving naturally into a broader Intelligent Website strategy.

## Sequel.io Reviews
 ### 1. Easy to Implement, User-Friendly, and Backed by Exceptional Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francesca A. | Director, Field Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

Sequel has been easy to implement into our company and user friendly enough to learn it without extensive training. However the best part is the customer service. They have been extremely helpful and quick to respond through the chat functionality. The integration with our wordpress website has alot been very easy to set up. The AI intelligence has been super helpful to create derivative content like blogs and short videos from our webinar recordings.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

We have had a few technical issues with the performance of the regsitration forms however as I mentioned, the sequel team was quick to jump in and help resolve this. Pricing wise, I dislike the fact that you need to pay additional to be able to create custom landing pages.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is enabling us to host webinars as well as in person events and helps us get more attendance as it automates all of the reminders and calendar invitations.

 ### 2. Sequel: #1 Webinar Platform — Seamless Marketo Integration, Higher Conversions & Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ciera C. | Demand Generation Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I've used many webinar platforms, and Sequel is definitely number one. From its long list of features to the seamless integration with Marketo, it has removed a lot of manual work from my plate.

It has improved our conversions by creating a great webinar experience and by converting and nurturing leads during and after each session.

The UI is excellent. It's straightforward for both team members and attendees. I haven't experienced the performance issues during live sessions that I've seen with other solutions like Zoom and ON24.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

Sometimes the places to find things in the platform feel a bit disconnected. For example, if I want to show a poll, I have to publish the poll live, add it to a CTA section, and then set it up to pop up the way I'd like. It's a very minor inconvenience, but it would be much easier if those controls were all grouped in one place.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using sequel, we had to manually run and update multiple programs just to route leads and change statuses. We also had very limited customization, since webinars had to be hosted inside the platform rather than on our own site. All of those challenges have been solved, and webinars no longer feel like a headache.

 ### 3. Seamless Webinar Centralization with Stellar UX

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aline S. | Marketing Technology & Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I love that Sequel.io centralizes our entire webinar operation, making things like registration, live delivery, engagement, and post-event follow-up all happen in one place. The UX is clean and intuitive, which makes using the platform a breeze. Plus, it's super flexible as it supports multiple languages and comes packed with great AI features like AI dubbing. Our Customer Success Manager (CSM) is also a big plus, as they are always responsive and help us get the most out of the platform. Integrating with other tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, and recently Claude has been seamless, too. The initial setup was easy, and I feel confident recommending it with a score of 10.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

I would say that now the gap for us is email analytics. Post-event emails, for example, that are sent via Sequel.io could show us open click stats and other data. Now we have no visibility. I already flagged that to our CSM and trust it is on the roadmap.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel.io centralizes our webinar operation: registration, live delivery, engagement, and post-event follow-up.

 ### 4. Easy, Reliable Webinar Hosting That Upgraded Our Content Creation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Travis N. | Director of Demand Generation, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

Sequel.io offers a clever solution to a persistent marketing problem. By offering an easy, reliable, and efficient way to host webinars and live talks on our own website, we've been able to significantly upgrade our content creation game.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

It is still working on a few features that I think would be a big step up for their product (improving the UI, automating the transition to on-demand after a webinar has occurred, etc).

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrating our website into our webinars, making the process for creating and getting people signed up for webinars easier, and tracking results all in a centralized portal. We've also had zero issues with performance during the actual webinars, and have been able to deploy it all an incredibly reasonable price. The support team has been able to help us through implementation through our use of it today a couple years later.

 ### 5. Modern, Flexible Webinar UI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucy T. | Marketing Campaign Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I find Sequel.io to have much better UI than any prior webinar tool I've used. It feels less clunky, more integrated with the rest of our brand, and more flexible with its capabilities. Both the backend management and audience experience feel modern, perform well, and integrate nicely with Marketo.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

Sometimes there are limitations that feel unusual for a more modern tool or some features that are hidden/hard to find within the settings. That said, the support team has been very responsive and open to feedback.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Webinars are one of our highest performing channels, and we wanted to invest in a more modern, integrated webinar experience. Prior webinar tools felt separate from the rest of our brand and felt like they had a higher barrier to entry for registrants to access. Having the video player live within a hosted webpage is much simpler.

 ### 6. Customizable, Easy-to-Use Webinar Hosting with Minor Bugs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I love that the webinar experience is customizable from a branding perspective. It's extremely easy to use both for my team and for our webinar attendees, making it simple to register and join the webinar without needing to use Zoom or create an account. I appreciate that we can host the registration form and the webinars on our website. The initial setup of Sequel.io is very intuitive and very easy for creating webinars and inviting the team.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

Sometimes there are bugs with loading the post event analytics. And I've talked to the support team about this and they've suggested I log in to Sequel.io using incognito mode, which always does work. So it's something to do with my cookies, I think, but it is annoying that I've run into this, and other users have also run into this.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sequel.io to host webinars with a customizable experience that aligns with our branding. It's easy for my team and attendees to join without needing accounts, simplifying registration and participation directly on our website.

**Official Response from Clayton Stobbs:**

> Thank you for the feedback! Glad to hear it has been easy to use and set up.

We'd be happy to review the analytics feedback further - chat in and I'll personally take a look to see what might be happening. Thank you!

— Clayton, VP Customer Success

 ### 7. Perfect for Webinars, Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeffrey F. | Marketing Manager, Human Resources, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I like using Sequel.io for our company webinars because it allows us to have a good webinar event series specifically tailored for our industry, HR tech. It provides a good ecosystem for managing and handling all our webinars and programs. I really appreciate the AI editing feature for finding viral clips and the ability to connect with HubSpot, which aids our marketing efforts. One of the biggest advantages is keeping webinar guests on our site, which is optimal for SEO, with 200 to 300 people staying on the site for forty minutes, which is extremely helpful. I also find it to be a better data-driven platform, and hosting on our website has made all the difference. The setup was instant, and the support team was there to help us every step of the way.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

Wish the Hubspot integration were a bit more useful

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel.io provides a good ecosystem for managing webinars and programs, offering transcripts and AI editing for viral clips. It integrates with HubSpot for marketing, keeps webinar guests on-site for better SEO, and hosting on our website improves our experience.

 ### 8. Straightforward UX and HubSpot Integration That Drives Consistent Prospect Engagement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

Sequel.io is very straightforward to use. The UX is clean and it's easy to find the features we leverage most. It integrates with HubSpot directly, and has helped us drive consistent engagement from new prospects and MQLs interested in buying our product.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

A lot of the features on Sequel.io are unfortunately behind a paywall. We are not able to commit more budget just to a webinar tool, but it would be interesting to get more insight into our analytics and other features. The AI features also don't have much depth to them.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel.io is a tool that helps us solve for hosted webinars, where we feature guests to talk about topics related to employee well-being, or live demos of our product for those interested. The recurring events are helpful and efficient for us to use, because they require minimal set up. Sequel.io, once set up, is relatively easy to use on an ongoing basis to support content needs.

**Official Response from Elyssa Stewart:**

> Love hearing that the clean UX and HubSpot integration are driving consistent engagement with prospects and MQLs, and that recurring events keep setup light for your webinars and product demos.

That's good feedback on the feature paywall and AI depth - reach out to support@sequel.io, we'd love to share some exciting updates coming soon that should help here.

Thanks for sharing this!

 ### 9. Best event marketing tool out there

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akshaya C. | Wedding Blogger, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

The ability to custom-brand our virtual stages, upload media files beforehand so we can have a seamless run of show, audience interaction tools, and the ability to host our webinars right on our website. Their support team is super helpful too!

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

I'd really like to have the ability to have test runs for an event without having to create duplicate events

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using Sequel to host our customer webinars, roundtables, and all virtual events including our flagship Demo Dundies. These often are a combination of parts that are pre-recorded, some shot in person, and some happening live. So we really are benefitting from their ability to support all these formats. Their analytics and CRM integration (Hubspot) are also powerful.

 ### 10. Easy to Use, Highly Customizable, and Great for Embedded Webinar Registration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

It's ease of use and it's expanded features and customization capabilities. I also love that you can embed the registration and on-demand pages into the website and not take them off site to the webinar hosts site to register.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

The only challenge is that in financial services they have strict security and some of our customers get blocked when logging on so we have had to actively help them whitelist sequel whereas some of the others are used so frequently that wasn't as big of an issue.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We rebranded and wanted to uplevel our brand by presenting ourselves in a more modern way. With Sequel, we have a much sleeker webinar presence which in turn is a better reflection of our brand. We also leverage AI across the company (Claude specifically) and Sequel integrates with Claude making post-event email nurtures, social clip production, etc. much faster/easier.

**Official Response from Elyssa Stewart:**

> Thank you so much for the detailed review! We're thrilled that Sequel's ease of use, customization, and embedded registration have helped you present a sleeker, more modern brand experience post-rebrand - that's exactly what we're going for. It's also great to hear the Claude integrations are speeding up your post-event workflows like nurtures and clip production - we have more to announce on this topic soon!

Thanks again for being a customer, and for taking the time to share this!

 ### 11. Lightweight, Native Embeds with Rock-Solid Reliability for Live Events

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishal K. | Marketing Design Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

Sequel is incredibly lightweight and easy to integrate directly into our landing page, which was a big win for us. The embedded experience feels native and well-designed, which matters a lot when you're putting your brand on the line.
What really stands out, though, is reliability. Live events carry a ton of pressure. There's no room for things to go wrong when you're live in front of an audience, and Sequel has never let us down. Every event has gone off without a hitch, and that kind of consistency builds real trust in a tool.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

As a designer, the biggest gap is customization. Sequel gives you a clean out-of-the-box experience, but when you want to go deeper with branding and layout control, the options feel limiting. More granular design controls would make a huge difference for teams that care about a polished, on-brand event experience.
On the production side, the showrunning and backstage editing features could use more depth. When you're managing a live event, you need flexibility in the moment, and there are times where the controls feel a bit restrictive for more complex productions.
Pricing is also worth mentioning. It's reasonable at entry level, but the jump in cost as your needs grow can feel steep, especially for smaller teams that are scaling up their event program. A more gradual pricing ladder would make it easier to grow with the product.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

equel solves the core problem of running professional, reliable webinars without the overhead of a heavy, complex platform. The plug-and-play setup means we can get an event up and running quickly, and embedding it directly into our landing page keeps the experience seamless for attendees without any extra friction.
The biggest benefit, honestly, is peace of mind during live events. A bug or a technical failure mid-show is every event host's nightmare, and Sequel consistently delivers a smooth, glitch-free experience. That reliability lets us focus on the content and the audience rather than worrying about whether the platform will hold up.

**Official Response from Kathleen Booth:**

> Thanks for your thoughtful and thorough feedback. Reliability during live events is the thing that's the most important to deliver. No amount of features compensates for a platform that lets you down in front of an audience, so "never let us down" is the feedback we care most about. Glad that's been the consistent experience.

— Kathleen Booth, VP of Marketing, Sequel

 ### 12. Virtual Events Truly Interactive

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

What I like most about Sequel.io is its focus on making virtual events and webinars feel genuinely interactive instead of one-way presentations. The product solves a real problem by helping companies create more engaging experiences directly on their own websites, which is a smart approach to audience engagement and brand ownership.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

One area where I think Sequel.io could improve is usability for hosts. When I hosted an event with three guests (four people including myself), I found it difficult to quickly adjust the stage layout. For example, I couldn't easily find options to display all four speakers on screen at once or switch to a layout with just one speaker alongside the presentation. I think the platform is powerful, but some of these controls could be more intuitive and easier to access during a live event.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that Sequel.io makes it easy to create engaging online events, and it benefits me because I can integrate my marketing strategy into the digital world. It provides a way to connect with audiences through interactive experiences while keeping everything aligned with my overall marketing goals.

**Official Response from Elyssa Stewart:**

> Really appreciate the thoughtful review - the interactivity and audience engagement piece, especially hosting on your own site, is a big part of why we built Sequel this way, and it's great that it's lining up well with your marketing strategy :)

On the stage layout controls during multi-speaker events - that's a fair callout, and useful for us to hear. Feel free to reach out to support@sequel.io so we can walk through what you were trying to do and share any tips or upcoming improvements that could help.

Thanks for taking the time to share this!

 ### 13. Flexible, Innovative AI—Backed by a Standout Customer Success Team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arpine B. | VP, Global Demand Center, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

What stands out most to me about Sequel.io is its flexibility — it adapts well to different use cases without feeling rigid or overly prescriptive. The AI features are genuinely innovative and feel ahead of the curve compared to similar tools. But honestly, what's made the biggest impression is the customer success team. They're responsive, knowledgeable, and clearly invested in making sure you get real value out of the product.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

The main pain point we've run into is that Sequel's iframe can get blocked by ad blockers, which sometimes prevents our customers from accessing the webinar entirely. It creates a frustrating experience for attendees who don't realize their ad blocker is the culprit. The workaround is to have them open the link in an incognito browser, which bypasses the issue — but it's an extra step that isn't always intuitive for users. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's the one friction point that comes up consistently.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel.io solves the challenge of running engaging, professional webinars without needing a heavy tech lift. As a webinar platform, it centralizes everything — from registration and hosting to post-event analytics — in one place. The flexibility of the platform means we can tailor the experience to our audience, and the AI features help us create more dynamic, interactive sessions that go beyond a standard presentation. The result is a more polished webinar experience for our customers and less operational overhead for our team.

**Official Response from Kathleen Booth:**

> Thanks so much for sharing this feedback. Really glad the CS team has made a good impression - they work hard at it!

— Kathleen Booth, VP of Marketing, Sequel

 ### 14. User-Friendly Webinars with Powerful Engagement Data

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I use Sequel.io to host live webinars and our partner enablement webinars, and I find it very easy and straightforward to navigate. I like the design function within it and that you can apply your branding. It's very easy to create events and send emails through it. I love the pop-up CTA links, polls, and surveys within the webinar. The platform is easy to navigate and produce. The main benefit I get is easy tracking. You can embed it with third-party platforms and collect all the data necessary. You can have complex connections, but it's also very simple to use. You can create your own landing pages and collect engagement data, and follow up by connecting with Pardot and Salesforce and other platforms. The biggest impact for my team is the fast landing pages and webinar creation, so if we need to roll out something very fast, it's easy. If you want to change the date, you can update the emails and send the new ones. I like the data collection, engagement statistics, and the dashboard. We switched from Zoom Enterprise and I love Sequel.io more. We were looking for a more user-friendly platform with different functions, and I really like using it. Some reasons we switched were the engagement data, easy-to-use navigation, and functionality like CTA and pop-up links. Sequel.io has great AI functionality when you cut videos, and you can translate it and play around in the media library and add translation on top of it. The semi-live events feature is great, where you can replay an event and just have a live Q&A, which I think is very helpful. I find the platform very easy to use as a first-time user. My teammate showed me how to navigate it, and I discovered a lot by just clicking around. I think they have good instructions and chat support where you can find the information you're looking for, and the Sequel.io team and support were pretty great.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

Maybe I didn't find this function yet, but I would love to be able to create your own branding packages — so apply specific colors, scheme, and stuff to everything, not to separate details. For example, we have applied it to our emails and notifications, but I would love to be able to apply it to landing pages instantly without creating a new one. If there could be an option to use your own brand kit, that would be great; perhaps I just did not find it yet, but if it doesn't exist, I would love to have that.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I host partner enablement and live webinars on Sequel.io. I get easy tracking, can embed it with third party platforms, create my own landing pages, and collect engagement data. The pop-up CTA links, polls, and surveys are handy, plus fast landing page and webinar creation and easy data follow-up with Pardot and Salesforce.

 ### 15. A True Partner in Webinars and Virtual Events

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniela D. | Graphic Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

Our team at Sercante has been using Sequel.io for our webinars and the experience has been awesome. The platform does what we need, and then some! But the real standout is the team behind it.

Gage has been incredibly helpful every step of the way. Whether it's setting up backend stuff, helping troubleshoot styling issues, or just answering a ton of random questions, he’s always quick to jump in and super easy to work with.

If you're looking for a reliable webinar tool with a team that’s got your back, I’d definitely recommend Sequel.io.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

Honestly, nothing. And if something ever comes up, the team is always listening and super responsive. They’ve added multiple things from our wishlist into their quarterly releases, it truly feels like we’re shaping the platform together.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So many!

Host branded live or pre-recorded webinars with audience engagement tools (chat, Q&A, polls).

Keep visitors on your site instead of sending them to third-party platforms like Zoom or YouTube.

On-Demand Content Hubs

Turn past events into searchable, categorized video libraries that are accessible anytime, driving long-tail engagement.

Embedded Community Engagement

Capture viewer data, sync with your CRM, and track performance across sessions to understand and qualify your audience.

Maintain full control over visual branding and layout, making it feel native to your site and aligning with your design system.

 ### 16. Great webinar tool! Hosting webinars on our own site is a huge plus

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary B. | Senior Revenue Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I really like the UI, both for the backend webinar management, as well as the frontend UI during events.

It's been easy to figure out the series functionality, recordings, chat, polls, overlays, etc. Intuitive and feels really high quality for the cost.

We've had great show rates to our webinars thanks to the reminder email functionality and automatic calendar invites, as well as driving more registrants overall with the series functionality where participants can easily register for all events in a series.

One recent improvement has been the Sequel AI clip creation. It has really become ingrained in my webinar repurposing workflow, allowing me to get more out of our events with ease. This clips are also higher quality now with less effort thanks to the updates around local recording use/edit ability in the Sequel AI tool

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

There are no major downsides. Occasionally we run into sync issues with Salesforce but a decent amount of that is either on our CRM's end or user error.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Webinar management - Sequel is an easy way to host webinars for both live and on demand use and as a marketing team of two we simply couldn't run webinars at this scale without it.

**Official Response from Kathleen Booth:**

> A two-person marketing team running webinars at scale is one of the best arguments for what Sequel is supposed to do, and it's good to hear the AI clip workflow has become a regular part of how you work.

The Salesforce sync note is helpful context. Those issues tend to be a mix of factors and it is always worth looping our support team in when something specific comes up, even if it turns out to be on the CRM side.

 ### 17. Good all-in-one events platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I appreciate how streamlined the process to create an event on Sequel is. Having everything in the same place - scheduling, inviting guests, the livestream, chat, etc - makes hosting events not be a huge lift for our team. The Zapier integration which lets us show upcoming events on our Webflow site is also great.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

In the past, we've had some stability issues where videos appeared to show on the hosts end, but weren't visible to participants (potentially due to an encoding issue). This means its hard to trust that ad-hoc, non-tested content will definitely play out. Their compression can also be a bit too aggressive at times.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel lets us host online events and webinars for our customers, allowing us to publicize product releases and educational content. This helps build leads for engaged clients that may be interested in upgrading their plan.

 ### 18. Sequel Delivers a Clean, On-Site Event Experience with Fast, Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh C. | Head of RevOps, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

The attendee and panelist experience is critical, and Sequel nails it while keeping everyone on your website, which helps with conversion in general. Very clean UX/UI for everyone. Plus, their integrations are well-baked and easy to spin up. I am a 2x customer and got Sequel stood up an integrated into Salesforce (our CRM) and HubSpot (our MAP) in 1 hour.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

I'd like more granular control over when and how we fire webhook events based on actions taken by the user.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel helps us run large virtual events at scale, and provides a great attendee experience that converts more attendees down-funnel to opps.

 ### 19. Easy-to-Embed Webinars That Keep Attendees on Your Website

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fara R. | Producer/Writer/Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I love how the webinar is on your website. The code is easy to embed, so webinar attendees go to your website, instead of the webinar hosting site.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

I'd say there's nothing I dislike. I have seen so much product improvement since using Sequel.io. As the team has grown, the customer support has sped up, making it easy to get the support when needed.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's making webinar hosting easy. It has all the pre & post webinar work right there. And the AI clipping is great. Best of call, it's hosted on your website. I do like the virtual and in-person feature, too.

 ### 20. Efficient Webinars That Boost Brand Exposure

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley G. | Senior Manager, Growth, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

The webinars on our website was the biggest draw to working with Sequel and continues prove great efficiency for our team and better brand exposure for prospects and customers

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

Sequel is newer to the market and still has some advancements that could improve the platform. More customization within the plugin, more video snippet customizations, and some improvement in the email template building would be great to see.

But they take customer feedback seriously and move fast to bring new features to production.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spinning up our webinar registration pages is so much easier now. And it's even sweeter after the webinar wraps not having to build out a new on-demand page.

The Salesforce integration has also been helpful requiring far less manual effort when it comes to imports.

 ### 21. It's okay to be honest, but there's still a ways to go.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

that it automatically switches to on-demand right away. makes it easier for operational setup

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

I wish there was a direct hubspot<>sequel integration, where HubSpot can add a registrant to Sequel. Not to be mistaken with integrating a Hubspot form to a sequel form, that is easy. I mean, if we found people in our HubSpot CRM, then we can use a Hubspot workflow to "add to sequel as registrant." we had to create a custom webhook to get it done, and it was VERY finnacky and we had to get on customer support to set it up.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

since i work in marketing operations, we used to have manually set up the on-demand recording after each session. sequel does it automatically now, so it saves me time!

**Official Response from Clayton Stobbs:**

> Thank you for the review - we appreciate the feedback! We have some exciting updates on the near term roadmap for our Hubspot integration and I'd love to explore your ideal use case for registration flows. If you're open to a conversation, please reach out via chat and I'll get connected or send a note to support@sequel.io.

 ### 22. Seamless Integration, Exceptional Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olha S. | Digital Marketing Director

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I find the level of support from the Sequel.io team to be incredibly responsive, which is great because the new features reflect our feedback. The support resources, especially short videos, are super helpful and aid a lot with team enablement. I also enjoy the user-friendly interface, which works well for both webinar speakers and admins. The integration with other platforms in our tech stack is seamless. Additionally, the initial setup was easy due to the great support from the Sequel.io team. It's pretty cool that we can have a branded experience for attendees as the webinars are live on our website.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

Some improvements in the reporting (like dashboards) and labeling for sorting and filtering would be great

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel.io integrates webinars on our website, provides clear data on performance and attendees, and simplifies follow-ups. The user-friendly interface and responsive support team are valuable, with resources like short videos enhancing team enablement.

 ### 23. Intuitive Webinar Integration with Great Support at a Reasonable Price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Travis N. | Demand Generation/Marketing, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

Sequel.io enabled us to integrate our webinars directly with our website with an intuitive UI and at an incredibly reasonable price/with great support.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

Still missing some features, like the ability to transition webinars to on-demand automatically and still has some work to do on the UI, which has changed a couple times.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to deliver performant, centrally located webinars without having to pile our webinars onto the company Zoom account and all the issues that come with doing that.

 ### 24. Seamless Virtual Event Experiences for our Customers

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colton P. | Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

Sequel.io has done a great job in making it seamless for embedding our webinars in our website, handling the registration, and making it easy to keep our customers engaged throughout our presentations. It handles a lot of the gotchas that a home-built solution would lack.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

The integration with our website built in Webflow is a little bit tricky, and has caused some difficulties in how we render the embed, meaning sometimes it's more difficult for customers to get a fullscreen experience.

Additionally, the limitation of only being able to use Google Chrome is unfortunate.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's providing us with an all-in-one solution for our webinars and recordings that previously took us quite a bit of manual effort.

**Official Response from Kathleen Booth:**

> Thanks for your review. Replacing a patchwork of manual processes with something that handles registration, engagement, and the post-event experience in one place is exactly the kind of lift Sequel should be taking off your plate . Glad that's translating in practice.

On the Webflow embed and fullscreen rendering — this is worth a direct conversation with the team. We just released a native Webflow integration last week that may resolve the issues you're running into.

 ### 25. Easy Webinar Management, but HubSpot Integration Needs Deeper Sync and Attribution

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kru M. | Revenue Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

Sequel is simple, straightforward and easy to set up. The platform is also reliable for managing webinar registrants and attendees

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

The integration with Hubspot could be better. For example, there could be more property syncs that happen automatically. It would be good if Sequel could also tap into multi-touch-attribution in Hubspot or other attribution tools to measure at which point of the customer journey are users engaging with webinars.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Sequel, we were on another webinar platform, and there was some issues there with the leads and registrants not syncing, causing us to miss follow-ups. Sequel is reliable and handles the data well and we haven't had any lead management issues.

 ### 26. User-Friendly Platform with Customization Needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexis K. | Health Care Editor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I use Sequel.io to host live webinars, like panel discussions and fireside chats with industry experts. I find it user-friendly and easy to navigate. As a host, I can manage the audience views, create polls, and easily toggle between stage- and public-facing chats. I like that Sequel.io lets me build multiple events and customize the components of each one within the same platform. I can also send emails to attendees, edit the landing page, and view analytics directly in Sequel.io. The setup was easy, and the team is responsive and always available to troubleshoot.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

There are some default features that would benefit from a customization option, like certain email templates. The local recordings sometimes take a while to upload after the event, which is inconvenient for the media team and for the speakers who have to keep their browser windows open after the live session has ended.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sequel.io to host webinars easily, managing audience views and polls smoothly. It lets me handle events, emails, and analytics on one platform, though I wish for more customization and faster recording uploads. Setup was easy, and support is responsive.

**Official Response from Clayton Stobbs:**

> Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Running panel discussions and fireside chats with the host controls you're describing (audience view management, poll creation, toggling between stage and public chat) is exactly the kind of production flexibility that makes a difference when you're live with industry experts and things need to move quickly.

I appreciate your feedback on email template customization and local recording upload times. On local recordings, we've released several updates recently and upload times should now be minimal. For email templates, please reach out to our team so we can work with you on specific needs.

— Clayton Stobbs, VP of Customer Success

 ### 27. Efficient Webinar Hosting with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauretta P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I really like Sequel.io for its ease of use, making the whole process quite straightforward. The registration process is seamless and I find the automated emails sent from the platform to be very helpful. One of the standout features is how it keeps all our content on brand and allows direct connection to our participants without needing to export lists into a new system. Plus, the Sequel AI functionality makes it simple to repurpose webinar content for social media without the hassle of exporting, editing, and cleaning up the design. Another big plus is that it keeps our hosting on our website, so the traffic stays local.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

Mostly just the recurring events have caused a bit of workarounds in the past. Just the features available with Sequel Series were advertised as coming to the legacy recurring events but it ended up being a brand new feature so it was disappointing and we weren't able to take advantage of Sequel Series for our recurring events.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel.io keeps our webinar traffic local to our site, helps maintain our brand, and connects directly to participants. It simplifies event registration, automates emails, and makes repurposing content for social media effortless.

**Official Response from Kathleen Booth:**

> Thanks for your review. Happy to hear that you're getting value from the AI content repurposing, registration and on-site hosting pieces.
On the Sequel Series situation, I understand the frustration and appreciate your feedback because it helps us handle those moments better going forward.

— Kathleen Booth, VP of Marketing, Sequel

 ### 28. Seamless Webinars with Intuitive Design

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frederik V. | Customer and Lifecycle Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I like how Sequel.io unifies the process of hosting webinars, pushes data to our CRM, and provides a great experience for watchers. It's easy and intuitive to use, and the support is great.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

We cannot add emails when the webinar start. It's only 1h before. The quality of the download is not great to be repurposed into shorts

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sequel.io to unify the webinar process, push data to our CRM, and offer a great experience for watchers.

 ### 29. Powerful Event Planner, with lots of scope for improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

The ability to create events once and then simply reschedule them to run on later dates without actually being there is a huge plus.

Finding these options can be a little tricky at first, but once you get a grasp of the features, it becomes really powerful. You can run an event every day without needing to record again or go live every single day.

The integrations are also pretty solid, for example, you can run events on Zoom.

That said, all of this does come at a price, and it can feel a bit premium if you don’t run events very often.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

The pricing can get a little expensive, there should be more plans and options for users that don't run frequent events.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Some products are hard to understand, and Sequel helps there a lot by making onboarding easier and sharing the true potential of the product.

**Official Response from Elyssa Stewart:**

> Thanks so much for the thoughtful review! We're glad the simulive workflow is saving you time. It's also great to hear that Sequel has made onboarding easier and helped surface the product's full potential - that's exactly the experience we aim for.

Really appreciate you taking the time to share this level of detail - it's helpful feedback for our team. If you need any more assistance at all, don't hesitate to reach out to support@sequel.io :)

 ### 30. Great analytics, but unreliable webinar access and audio issues drove us back to Zoom

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

Creating emails for those who attended and who did not takes time, but with Sequel.io, that's part of the setup. The event analytics that appear after the event has ended is beneficial. You can visualize your top participants and see the chats that happened within the session. Within the list of participants of an event, there are filter options that are helpful. You can search for a name or email, add participants, or download the list to a csv. It integrates well with HubSpot so that I complete tasks there based on data from Sequel.io. I cannot speak to the AI component because I didn't use it. The onboarding for me was mainly reading through documentation and watching how-to videos.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

The first online event I held using Sequel.io didn't go very well. I usually have 75-100 people in each of my customer webinars. 7 or 8 of them in my first time using Sequel could not attend for one reason or another. Most of them were in the session but could not hear the presenters or see the shared screen. They were only able to interact with the chat window.
I had one customer who could not sign up for the event at all. The page just showed him that he did not have access.
The sessions do not remember your primary devices like microphone and camera, so remember to set those each time. At least, that's the behavior I experienced.
For one event, a presenter could not get the microphone to work at all. She had to clear her cookies to make it work again. This particular behavior had me reaching out to support two hours before the event. The only option I could find was chat support. There's no number to call.
The customers I work with have to utilize firewalls just because of the nature of their work. Support tried to help me troubleshoot why 7 of my customers could not join a session. They couldn't find a specific reason, but I believe it was a firewall issue. The answer to this problem is for the customer to use a mobile device that is not on the company's network or a hotspot. Not a great solution when you're showing in-depth information about a product.
Unfortunately, I had to go back to using Zoom. Other departments in my company still use Sequel.io, but I couldn't afford to have 7-10% of my customers not be able to register or attend webinars.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel does remove the need to generate emails to be sent after the session to those who attended and to those who did not.

**Official Response from Kathleen Booth:**

> Thank you for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback. This level of specificity is genuinely helpful, even when the experience it describes is one we wish had gone differently.

I'd love to connect and understand more about what happened - both because the firewall and access issues you described may have paths we haven't fully explored, and because if there's ever an appetite to give Sequel another look, I want to make sure the experience is different. Would you be open to a conversation? If so, please DM me on LinkedIn or email me at kathleen [at] sequel dot io and lets set up a time to chat.

Either way, I appreciate your feedback.

— Kathleen Booth, VP of Marketing, Sequel

 ### 31. Keeps Webinars on Your Site with Deep Audience Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** drizzymon A. | Senior Sales Operations Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

The biggest advantage is that everything happens on your own site, registration, live session and replay so you don't lose traffic to third party platforms. It also provides deep audience insights by tracking behavior, before, during and after the webinar, which is great for pipeline and follow up. The UI is excellent and easy to navigate

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

There can be some initial setup and learning curve, especially when integration it with your own website and CRM.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel.io solves the problem of fragmented webinar tools and limited visibility by bringing everything into one platform hosted on our own website. This benefits us with better engagement, higher-quality insights, and more efficient, revenue-driven webinars.

 ### 32. Easy Webinar Hosting with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kendra B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I like how easy it is for any host to control slides, engage with the audience, and have a clear distinction between chat capabilities for the audience, the Q and A portion, and the backstage participants. It just makes it easy to host an event while keeping track of what's going on with the audience. It's great for small teams that are trying to do a lot all at once.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

I really don't like how small presentations look when you're doing any kind of speakers alongside it. I wish that it had the ability to control where you were positioning speakers like Zoom does on their webinars. The sequel background takes up way too much real estate, it would be better if there was a popout option when you embed it on the website. We really need to account for screen size when making slides which is not ideal.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel.io creates an easy way to store participant info, send out emails, and keep resources accessible during and after events. It's great for small teams trying to do a lot at once, with features that simplify hosting, slide control, and audience engagement.

**Official Response from Kathleen Booth:**

> Thanks so much for this feedback. The separation between audience chat, Q&A, and backstage is something that makes a real difference when you're a small team running a live event. Having those lanes clearly defined means you're not constantly context-switching mid-session to figure out what needs a response and what doesn't.

The presentation real estate issue when speakers are on screen alongside slides is worth getting in front of the product team with that level of detail. If you can share examples of what you're working around and what the ideal would look like, please reach out directly and I'm happy to get you connected with a member of our team. Layout flexibility for embedded events is an area we continue to develop, and concrete use cases help prioritize what gets built.

 ### 33. Effortless Webinar Creation and Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt H. | Director of Marketing, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I really appreciate Sequel.io for creating a great client experience. I find it very easy to use and intuitive, which is perfect for our small team that cannot afford to deal with complex products. This simplicity allows us to easily build and scale our webinar program. The reporting feature is another aspect I like. It's super easy to access and understand without needing to dig through data to decide what to send. Additionally, creating registration pages is straightforward, and they look nice, as do the corresponding emails, which align well with the creative from the registration page. Overall, Sequel.io has been very positive for us. Setting it up was also very easy, adding to its appeal.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

Add-on functionality can get pretty expensive, pretty quickly.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel.io provides an easy-to-use platform for building webinars, simplifying our workflow with intuitive reporting. Its simplicity allows my small team to efficiently build and scale our webinar program without needing complex tools.

**Official Response from Kathleen Booth:**

> Thank you for the very kind feedback! Small teams running webinar programs at scale without a dedicated ops person is exactly the use case Sequel's Growth plan is designed for, so it's good to hear that onboarding was easy and the reporting and registration workflow are working well for you.

— Kathleen Booth, VP of Marketing, Sequel

 ### 34. Streamlined Webinars with Custom Branding

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noah P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I like how Sequel.io lets us host webinars directly on our actual page without the need to redirect to Zoom or Google Meets. The branding functionality is great too because it allows me to keep the platform in my company's color, which looks luxurious. The automated emails for confirmation, registration, and recording are very helpful and save me a lot of time as I don't have to automate email workflows with HubSpot. Overall, I find Sequel.io to be better than standard tools.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

I think it's lousy that you need an advanced/more expensive subscription for full HD streaming. A subscription isn't cheap and we shouldn't be limited to 720p. It was also difficult to figure out the embed code section on WordPress, but only because I'm not a programmer - I figured it out.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel.io lets us host webinars directly on our page without redirection. The branding functionality matches our company colors, making it look luxurious. Automated emails save time and eliminate the need for HubSpot workflows by sending immediate confirmations upon signup.

**Official Response from Kathleen Booth:**

> Thanks very much for taking the time to leave this detailed feedback. The branding point you mentioned is one we care a lot about. A webinar that looks like an extension of your site rather than a third-party tool changes how the whole experience feels for attendees, and it's good to hear that's coming through.

The HD streaming tier issue a pricing and packaging decision, and it's useful to hear directly from customers where it creates friction. If you want to share more context around your use case and what full HD would unlock for you, I'd love to share it with our team - that kind of input does factor into how we think about what belongs at which tier.

On the WordPress embed, glad you got there. For anyone else on your team who might need to do it in the future, the support team can walk through it step by step.

— Kathleen Booth, VP of Marketing, Sequel

 ### 35. Easy to use webinar platform with solid features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

Very user-friendly interface and tools for running the webinar itself. The AI chat has been useful, and in the past we had a dedicated CSM who was great to have on-hand to Slack our questions - even if it was a last-minute webinar issue. Performance has been rock solid - no issues there.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

The AI capabilities for content repurposing (slicing up the webinar recordings) were underwhelming. We were not happy with that feature - didn't end up using it at all because the clips it suggested were not great - not insightful and the video itself just didn't look good. This platform also costs more than other webinar platforms, if you're price sensitive.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed an easy-to-use webinar platform and this has been a good option for us to get up and running quickly. We also like the on-demand capabilities and built-in email integration with Hubspot.

 ### 36. Efficient Webinar Management But I'd love More Video Editing Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alina B. | Senior Product Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I like using Sequel.io for hosting global and local webinars as well as recording and editing demo videos. The integration with Salesforce is very handy, and its better user experience is a big advantage compared to the outdated solution we used before. I appreciate that it's easy to set up webinars and sync them with CRM and our website. After the webinar ends, you don't have to manually convert it to an on-demand session since Sequel.io handles that automatically. With a small team, it's really beneficial that it doesn’t take a lot of time to manage webinars with Sequel.io. I've heard positive feedback from my colleagues regarding the synchronization part. Also, the initial setup was reportedly quite easy, thanks in part to the support from Sequel.io representatives.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

I'd love to have more video editing features. I was trying to edit a session that we wanted to put as an on-demand webinar and needed to cut out part of the video in the middle of the session and replace it with another one. I couldn't find how to do that, so I ended up using another program and uploading the video back into Sequel.io.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Sequel.io simplifies hosting webinars, with easy setup and CRM sync. It saves us time by automatically converting webinars to on-demand sessions, and offers better Salesforce integration and cost-efficiency compared to our old tools.

**Official Response from Kathleen Booth:**

> The automatic on-demand conversion and Salesforce sync landing well for a small team is exactly the outcome we're building toward — less time managing the mechanics, more time on the content and follow-up.

Sorry to hear about your challenges with video editing. I'd love to connect you to a member of our team to help with this. Feel free to drop me an email at kathleen [at] sequel.io and I'll make that intro!

 ### 37. Effortless Embedding, Engaging Webinars

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan A. | Cofounder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I like that Sequel.io is embedded on our website, allowing us to generate leads from our webinar content even after the initial event without a lot of marketing operations work to change the form or sign-up process. The embedding feature keeps people on our website, so when we send people links to register or view, they're already on our site rather than being redirected to a third-party application. The initial setup was really easy; we got started immediately just by embedding a code on our website, and we were running. We were even able to edit the styling to match the rest of our website.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

I want all the features! And some of them are gated behind higher tiers.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel.io provides us a platform for hosting webinars, making it easy for participants to engage and presenters to share content. It helps generate leads and is embedded on our website, keeping users on-site and simplifying marketing operations.

**Official Response from Kathleen Booth:**

> Thanks for sharing your feedback! The lead generation point after the initial event is one of the things we hear most from teams who've made the switch — not having to rebuild your ops workflow every time you want to repurpose content is a real time saver, and keeping registrants on your domain rather than handing them off to a third-party URL makes a difference in how that traffic behaves.

On the feature tiering, if there are specific features you're eyeing, it might be worth a conversation with the team. Feel free to email me directly at kathleen [at] sequel.io and I'll get you connected with someone who can walk you through what's available at your current tier and what the path looks like to get there.

 ### 38. Effortless Webinars with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leah C. | Content and Media Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I love how easy the Sequel.io platform is and the ability to integrate it directly into a website. We use Webflow, and having Sequel.io embedded on our website allows people to find and be redirected to events easily. It helps increase registration because it links through to HubSpot, automatically syncing emails once marketing communication is confirmed. It also gives us a new way of sending out email invites through Sequel.io. Additionally, it provides the opportunity to showcase the chat function and project events to LinkedIn Live. The initial setup was really easy.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

We currently don't have the drag and drop option because this is extra. So I think it will be good to include this as a standalone option instead of having to buy it as something that goes with the bigger options. Or just given this as a cleaner way of looking at creating emails for everybody who has the platform.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel.io helps us create webinar programs, embed them on our website, increases registration through HubSpot integration, and offers LinkedIn Live projection. It's easy to use and directly integrates with our website using Webflow.

**Official Response from Kathleen Booth:**

> Thank you for sharing this, and it's genuinely great to hear the Webflow embed and HubSpot sync are working the way they should. Registration lift from keeping everything on your own domain, with email opt-in flowing straight into HubSpot, is one of those things that sounds straightforward but makes a real difference in practice.

On the drag-and-drop email builder, that's fair feedback on packaging. I'll make sure it gets to the right people on our team. If you want to share any additional context on how you're currently building emails and what would make it easier, feel free to reach out at success@sequel.io.

 ### 39. Streamlined Webinars with Engaging Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madeline C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I like that Sequel.io helps keep our webinar program super organized and creates a great user experience for our customers and prospects. I feel like it's able to help us scale our virtual events program. I like the simplicity of the user interface, making it really easy to create new events and manage the backend experience of the webinar. I really like the networking features during the live webinars, especially the chat and Q&A functionality, which is great. We've seen an uptick in engagement from the attendees, which creates a more engaging experience for them and helps our webinar program succeed. Also, we integrate Sequel with HubSpot for the registration form and embed it on our website.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

I think the small change I'd make would be a way to see if hosts have accepted your calendar invite. A lot of times I send an invite to hosts and don't know if they got it or not.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Sequel.io keeps our webinar program organized and enhances user experience, helping us scale virtual events. The simple interface and networking features boost attendee engagement.

**Official Response from Kathleen Booth:**

> Thank you for this, and really glad to hear the engagement uptick is showing up in a measurable way. That combination of chat, Q&A, and a clean attendee experience is exactly what we're going for, so it's great to know it's translating.

The calendar invite visibility point is a good one. I'll pass that along to our product team.

 ### 40. Seamless Webinar Embedding, Exceptional Ease of Use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle E. | Director, Customer Education (Head of Customer Education), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I love using Sequel.io because we can embed it directly into our LMS for customer webinars, which in turn, drives more awareness to our on-demand resources. We want to keep learners where they're already at, and Sequel allows for that. My team really likes how easy it is to set up webinars for different events and how flexible it is to embed them wherever we want. The interactivity is great, and we've had positive feedback from our attendees about the platform. Setup was fairly easy, and it was simple to get our branding set up and ensure webinars had the correct settings. Everything has been easy to manage so far.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

Nothing at this time -- any questions or issues we've run into have been quickly resolved.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sequel.io for our education program, embedding webinars in our LMS for easy access, boosting awareness of resources. It allows one-to-many webinars, simple setup, and interactivity, enhancing the user experience. Its flexibility in embedding on various platforms helps our team significantly.

**Official Response from Kathleen Booth:**

> Thank you for sharing this. The LMS use case is a great one — keeping learners inside the environment they're already in, with live and on-demand content surfacing naturally alongside other resources, is exactly the kind of experience native embedding makes possible.

Really glad the setup and branding configuration landed smoothly, and that your attendees are noticing the difference.

 ### 41. All-in-One Event Platform with Incredible Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor C. | Marketing, PR, and Brand Freelance Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I like how Sequel helps me to do everything in one platform, from embedding the form into our landing page, drafting all the copy for the pre- and post-event emails, syncing everything with our CRM, and uploading any media or interactive elements that we'll be including in the live event. They also have an amazing support team who is ready to help whenever I need something. I've actually had an experience where I had questions in the middle of a live event, and they worked behind the scenes to get everything sorted. Our account manager also helped me by joining my first few dry runs that I hosted with my team internally using the product and joined my first few live events to give me more confidence as I was learning how to use the platform. I also love that our account management team is on Slack, so I can always reach them very quickly from the tool that my team already uses daily.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

I haven't encountered anything I dislike about Sequel thus far. Anytime we have a question or a feature request, our account management team is always there to hear us out or help us find a solution. I think the product is continuing to innovate pretty quickly, and it's working really well for our team.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary problem Sequel solves for us is providing a reliable virtual event platform, which is a critical tool for hosting virtual events and enabling us to reach our broader growth goals.

 ### 42. Simplicity and Global Reach in One Package

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren A. | Growth Marketing Specialist - Small Business, Mid-Market, and Strategic Expansion, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I love the simplicity of Sequel.io. It's really easy to use and doesn't require a lot of training. People can join our webinars from everywhere, which is great since we have company members across the globe. I love the option to do prerecorded or live sessions. New people on our webinars each month understand how to use it within minutes and rarely have any questions. We've never had an issue going live or during the actual webinar, which is awesome.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

Sometimes, the cache and cookies on my browser make it really tough to load upcoming events. I've had it happen a few times and have had to get on with support to figure out what the issue is.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel.io allows people worldwide to join our webinars and is easy to use without much training. Users learn how to use it in minutes and have no issues with webinars.

**Official Response from Kathleen Booth:**

> Thanks for the feedback. Zero issues going live across a globally distributed audience is a high bar. Really glad that's been the consistent experience!

The cache and cookie issue causing load problems is something the team can usually resolve pretty quickly, but if it keeps recurring it's worth asking them to dig into whether there's a persistent underlying cause rather than clearing it as a one-off each time.

 ### 43. User-friendly webinar tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I find Sequel.io very user-friendly and intuitive, especially when setting up webinars, which can be done in a matter of minutes, and it's easy to update if I need to make any changes. The integration with HubSpot is a big plus, giving us visibility into webinar registration, attendance, and participation without manual imports. I also like how it makes it easy to manage webinar communication and follow-up, I can set reminders to go at certain times and it'll automatically send out the recording on my chosen date/time, which saves a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

The video tools are limited. There's no flexibility in the style of clips generated and you can't do any simple editing like cutting a section out of a webinar recording.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's saving time and means I don't have to do any manual imports/exports because all the webinar communication is handled in the platform. I just set up the times I want the emails to send (e.g., 24hr reminder, 1 day reminder, send recording 4hrs after event ends etc.) and Sequel handles it all automatically. The AI tools like transcription and clipping are also good for getting extra content from webinars.

 ### 44. Great event platform with some minor hitches

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I really appreciate how Sequel.io makes it easy for us to quickly spin up an event. The setup is very quick, and everything is immediately ready to go for basic events. I love that Sequel.io makes it easy for us to invite guest co-hosts, share content on screen, see analytics about how the event performed, and embed the event into our site. The initial setup was very easy too.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

We've had some issues with trusting that what the host sees and what our audience sees were the same in the past - the host preview doesn't appear to use the same feed as the audience view. While this was likely caused by a file encoding issue, but makes it hard to fully trust that we're seeing the same things as our users.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel.io makes it easy to invite guest co-hosts, share content, see event analytics, and embed events into our site.

 ### 45. Simplified Webinars with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I really enjoy how Sequel.io is very easy to use. One of the best aspects is that the platform is built on our own website, making it feel really cohesive with our brand. Another thing I love is their support team, which was super hands-on and quickly resolved a small issue we had by bringing the engineering team on board. They were very efficient and followed up promptly, which was awesome.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

The only thing that I would like it to get a little bit better in is the AI clips for to share after an event, so for a webinar. Like to take the recording and share little snippets from it. The AI could be a little bit better. A little bit user friendly. And more accurate.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel.io lets us control the entire webinar process and keep events on our website. It's super easy to say, 'Hey, book a demo here.' Seeing attendee data and keeping users on our site is crucial.

 ### 46. Seamless Webinars, Slight Setup Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I like Sequel.io because it's friendly and user-friendly. It's easy to set up and use, which makes us look buttoned up and tight during our customer-facing webinars. I also appreciate that its user structure allows different teams to use the platform without needing any oversight from limited admin seats.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

Once the sessions are set and the settings are locked in, things are awesome! But the session settings can be a bit buried / not intuitive. Some of the settings for our initial series sessions were a bit buried / unclear / not obvious, but once we got those ironed out, all went well.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sequel.io for hosting customer-facing webinars. It solves the problem of hosting large public virtual events on an easy-to-use platform. It's user-friendly and enhances our professionalism, allowing different teams to use it without needing administrative oversight.

**Official Response from Kathleen Booth:**

> Thanks for your feedback! Running customer-facing webinars that make your team look polished is exactly the outcome we're going for, and the multi-team access without admin bottlenecks is one of those things that doesn't get enough credit until you've dealt with the alternative.

On the session settings, we'd genuinely love to understand specifically where things felt buried during your initial setup. That kind of feedback is most useful when it's specific, and the product team pays attention to it. If you're open to sharing the details, feel free to DM me and I'll get you connected to the team.

 ### 47. Empowered Virtual Events, Needs Pricing Refinement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I like that Sequel.io is embedded in our website, enhancing our conversion and site engagement. The features really help us provide a world-class experience, especially for webinars. I appreciate many of the features such as chat, email control, and the new virtual summit feature. These features are top-notch and give me control without needing to rely on my email and web teams. The initial setup was pretty straightforward, and because I used it with another company, I was able to set it up fast.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

I don't like that there are add on fees. Some new features can be buggy, but they usually patch them over time.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel.io is embedded in our website, boosting conversion and site engagement. The features offer a world-class webinar experience and provide control over chat and email without needing my web team.

**Official Response from Kathleen Booth:**

> Appreciate you leaving this feedback! The ability to run webinars, manage chat, and control email sequences without pulling in your web or email team every time is one of the things that makes a real operational difference, especially for a marketing team that needs to move fast. Good to hear the virtual summit feature is working well too. That's a newer capability we're continuing to build on.

On the add-on fees, if there are specific features where the pricing feels misaligned with the value, it's worth a direct conversation with the team. No guarantees, but that input does inform how we think about packaging over time.

 ### 48. Seamless Integrations, Simple Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

I like that Sequel.io is really easy to use with seamless integrations and good features. The integration to the website is very simple, just adding an embed code, and the integration to HubSpot works really well out of the box. The initial setup was also really simple.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

Being able to report on webinar registrations as form submissions within HubSpot would be great. To allow more data to be pushed onto the contact in HubSpot would mean we could run reports within HubSpot for webinars. Individual video feeds are available but not on the plan we have

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel.io solves having an all-in-one webinar platform with easy integration to our website and HubSpot. I find it really easy to use with seamless integrations and good features, making the embedding and setup very simple.

**Official Response from Kathleen Booth:**

> Thanks for sharing your review, and happy to hear you're finding Sequel so easy to use. Regarding the HubSpot integration, the current integration allows you to create dynamic lists, do lead scoring and trigger workflows based on actions of registrants and attendees - and includes a connection with HubSpot forms, immediately registering users in Sequel, and dispatching a calendar invite and registration confirmation. I'd love to connect and learn more about your exact use case. I suspect we may already be able to solve for it, and if not, we have an upgraded HubSpot integration coming out this quarter that has lots of new bells and whistles I think you'll be excited to hear about. Feel free to DM me on LinkedIn or email me at kathleen [at] sequel dot io if you're open to a conversation. Either way, I appreciate the feedback!

 ### 49. Flexible integration options, but local-language needs improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andreas L. | Teamleader Export & Dispatch, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

It gives you several integration options: you can use it as a standalone platform or embed it into your website via an iframe, among other methods.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

The AI tools don't always work in local languages which is a barrier to some of our target audience

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sequel is a one-stop shop for webinars, covering planning, execution, and post-event follow-up.

 ### 50. Reliable and Works Well Compared to Other Options

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Philip K. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Sequel.io?**

It works well compared to other options out there. There isn’t anything particularly special that stands out; I think I’ve just gotten used to using it because it works reliably. Overall, I’m happy with it.

**What do you dislike about Sequel.io?**

If I were the one who had to pay for it, I’d probably just use AI to build something that does only what I need, so I can get most of the work done without paying for something like this.

**What problems is Sequel.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I personally like the first party data mostly. It give me confidence that the data I'm getting is good data.
