I usually use Sendy to run email newsletters, automate series, and communicate regularly with my audience. It makes email marketing more affordable and manageable since I can handle large subscriber lists, send campaigns, and track performance without paying high monthly fees. I’m sharing my experience here because I’ve submitted five separate refund requests via email but have received no response from Sendy.

Sendy's website clearly states:

“If you encounter problems, we will help you. If it doesn't work out, we'll refund you.”

Unfortunately, my repeated requests have been completely ignored. Here are the details of my transaction and the timeline of my refund requests:

Purchase Date: April 23, 10:22 PM (KST)

Amount Paid: $69

Receipt Number: #1541-8678

Refund Requests:

1st request: April 24, 7:15 PM

2nd request: April 25, 9:27 AM

3rd request: April 30, 3:03 PM

4th request: May 2, 8:42 AM

5th request (Today): [Insert Today’s Date]

I have not received any acknowledgment, any updates, or my refund. This level of customer support is unacceptable, especially from a company specializing in email communications.

This is the best cheap alternative for all the expensive email marketing softwares available in the market. Sendy only charges you one time fees of $69 and then you can easily set up it on your own server. The best part of sendy is that you can connect it with AWS and send emails at a very cheap price. Sendy also maintains contacts lists, we use sendy for all our daily emails, newsletters and marketing. We use the Sendy software for our own newsletters and also have paid for the addon for white-labelling to additional domains as we also use this for our clients so that they're also able to manage their own newsletters, and the software is incredibly easy to use and very affordable when coupled with the likes of AWS SES. There is no easy way to build modern newsletters within the software and this is a significant sticking point for both ourselves and our clients. There is a basic WYSIWYG editor, but this is not fit for the purpose of building modern newsletters. Therefore, this must be done in a separate software package and is not very streamlined. We have suggested several opensource packages that could be integrated with Sendy to make it a modern piece of software with the drag and drop interface we're all familiar with, but it doesn't appear to be a priority for the developer of the software.
