The user/role/group features were well thought through. Compared to the data rooms used by our external counsel, it is both comparable in features and unbeatable in price. We were a group with a lot of experience with running transactions. Counsel offered us the use of their data room platform but it would take roughly 24 hours to be granted access; it was a Friday afternoon so we would not have had access till maybe Monday plus their platform didn't work well with Macs (and we were all on Macs) and so we would have had to upload files and then organize vs drag and drop. Found SecureDocs - we went from zero to a completely organized data room with fully defined access roles before the weekend was through. It was exactly what we were hoping for. The VDR is simple to set up. Document/folder structures are easy to deploy. It's easy to upload documents and create new users. We like how easy it is to add users as well as we continue to grow. What do you dislike about SecureDocs Virtual Data Room, an Onit Product? If I had one ask, it would be to copy/duplicate a role type to build various roles more easily. Right now, you have to develop each from scratch, so when you create a new role with a nuanced difference from a different role, it takes longer because you have to screenshot or go back and see how the two roles compare.
