Screenflow is powerful but not excessive, so everything you need is at your fingertips and not much else. Recording and assembling clips is easy. And the audio filter to remove background noise is clutch. I've made 20+ marketing videos with product demos using Screenflow and always have a good experience. There are little things like the default animation transition should be crossfade and not one of the gimmicky ones they have in there. You can customize a lot of your defaults so that is easily overcome. The only other thing is if you have a project that has a lot of layers, managing more than 5-6 tracks is a little clunky.
