The biggest thing for me is having everything in one place. Compliance can get pretty messy when you're keeping track of different documents, evidence, and things that still need to be done. Screenata makes it easier to see what needs attention without having to keep everything in separate spreadsheets. I think the value is good for what we're paying. The main benefit is the time it saves on the more repetitive compliance work and keeping everything organized. It's difficult to put an exact dollar value on that, but having less manual work and a clearer view of what still needs to be done makes the cost worthwhile for us. What stood out to me was the focus on reducing some of the manual work around compliance. I've dealt with SOC 2 and customer security requirements before, and a lot of the effort tends to go into keeping evidence, controls and follow-ups organized. The biggest upside is that Screenata starts from how our company actually works instead of forcing us through a generic checklist. It helps us understand what evidence we need, where gaps exist, and how policy claims connect back to real controls and tests. That makes it much easier to explain progress internally and prepare for customer security reviews or an audit. The AI features are also helpful because they reduce the blank-page work around policies and compliance documentation. We still review everything carefully, but Screenata gives us a much stronger starting point and keeps the process moving without relying entirely on outside consultants. The main area I would improve is making the initial setup and integrations even faster, especially for a small healthcare startup where engineering leaders are balancing compliance work with product delivery. Before Screenata, we struggled with keeping SOC 2 and HIPAA readiness organized across spreadsheets, docs, tickets, and ad hoc engineering follow-ups. It was hard to see which controls were covered, what evidence was missing, and what still needed attention before customer security reviews or an audit. Now we can manage policies, controls, risks, and evidence in a more structured workflow, which has reduced the amount of manual coordination required from engineering leadership. For a 30-person healthcare startup, that matters a lot because we do not have a large compliance team. The biggest benefit is time saved. Screenata helps us turn compliance work into a repeatable process instead of a recurring scramble. It has saved us several hours per week in coordination and documentation work, and it is much more cost-effective than relying heavily on consultants or adopting an enterprise GRC platform too early. The interface is easy to navigate and efficient. We set up AWS integration in minutes and cleared hundreds of controls immediately. It's fast and polished, much better than the dull dashboard of old gen platforms. It is also priced friendly to startups, significantly less than what would cost us on other tools.
