There were a couple of requirments we had for our web hosting service. We needed to have a service which was flexible about the number of sites we could publish and the number of emails we could have. We also wanted a company which was business focused and not hosting a lot of porn sites. We really do not want to support the exploitation of women. They also provided support in moving what we currently had in place over to their servers. This was helpful. We had a couple of bumps in the road along the way but they were great about responding and being available through the online chat. At one point in the process an email with access got hacked and the team was really helpful in ferreting out the problem and helping me to secure the site. They also did an additional scan to help secure the site and made some recommendations to help make it even more secure. All said and done Scala had all the features we needed and then some. They have also been readily available when we have needed them. **What do you dislike about ScalaHosting?** For some reason our person failed to help us migrate our main domain name over. Their "SPanel" web tool is very easy to use and creating new domains, subdomains or email addresses is a matter of minutes! I can also confirm that the IPs are not blacklisted, so all the emails sent from my client accounts are always reaching inboxes. I have also opened several Support cases and the team has always been responsive and technical in their responses. I really appreciate their support and can say they are Top Tier (I have been a Support Engineer as well, these guys are the real deal!) I frequently integrate new services, and it is very easy to connect my websites to external services. Their File Manager is also very responsive, and I use it daily to perform file changes and backups. I have worked with many service providers in the past and can confirm that ScalaHosting has been the place where I have been more happy and successful. **What do you dislike about ScalaHosting?** There are little things to dislike about ScalaHosting. The only things that come to mind is that the server logs rotate every 3 days so there have been instances where a Support case has taken too long to resolve because we were waiting for the issue to happen again in order to capture the necessary troubleshooting information to fix said issue. The other thing I dislike is Pricing. Scalable virtual machines and servers with customer service promptly helping your every issue. If it is not a hosting issue they will tell you and point you in a direction or you can get help to fix the issue. While there customer service is virtual They are very patient and have yet not be able to resolve any of our issues. **What do you dislike about ScalaHosting?** There isn't much I don't dislike about them. I suppose being old fashioned verbally talking to someone would have been nice It took some while to get used to getting customer assistance virtually.
