## scagile Reviews
  ### 1. A Smooth Bridge Between Product and Development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lozana D. | Frontend Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about scagile?**

Scagile has made a surprisingly positive impression. Right from the start, the setup was simple and fast - no complicated configurations, no steep learning curve. It was easy to get our boards, teams, and value streams up and running. What stands out is how intuitive the interface is. The product-focused features like PI Planning and Value Streams are easy to navigate and make sense from a development perspective. It helps keep everyone aligned without adding unnecessary complexity.

**What do you dislike about scagile?**

Nothing major so far. The tool is still new in our setup, so we're learning as we go, but it covers our needs well already. I’m optimistic that it will continue to grow, especially in supporting deeper collaboration between product and engineering.

**What problems is scagile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scagile has made it much easier for us developers and our product managers to stay aligned. We have clearer visibility into product priorities, and it’s easier to understand the context behind what we’re building. That’s helped reduce misunderstandings, streamline communication, and ultimately improve how we deliver value. What’s also been great to see is how well the tool supports our product managers - they’re able to plan, structure, and communicate their strategy more effectively, which has made collaboration across teams feel much more connected. It’s become a tool that truly links strategy with execution, without slowing us down.

  ### 2. Great Tool for Roadmaps & Dependency Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evgeni G. | Lead Java Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2025

**What do you like best about scagile?**

For me, Scagile’s roadmap and dependencies view is a standout feature. The ability to see a high-level overview of our projects, along with dependencies, has made coordination across teams a lot easier. It helps us identify potential conflicts early on, which has been crucial for keeping our projects on track. The feature feels simple but provides the depth of information we need.

**What do you dislike about scagile?**

I’d be interested in more detailed reporting around dependencies in the future. The tool seems solid, and I’m looking forward to seeing where they take it.

**What problems is scagile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By offering clear visibility into our roadmap and dependencies, Scagile has helped us manage our projects more effectively. It allows us to anticipate issues before they escalate and ensures alignment across teams, ultimately leading to faster and more reliable project delivery.

  ### 3. A wonderful tool to support alignement between portfolio and team level

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gergana P. | Agile Coach, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about scagile?**

I’ve been using scagile for some time now, and I can honestly say that it’s rare to find a tool that’s as effective for high-level portfolio management as it is for team-level execution.
I personally found features like Roadmap, Customer Journey, Value Steams and WSJF very helpful to achieve the alignment across the organisation. Also thanks to such features our PI Planning process is much smoother. Everything is at one place and we could go from portfolio management to team level very easy.

**What do you dislike about scagile?**

The tool is perfect for middle and small sized organisations, so if you are a company with a thousand employees, it might not be the best fit for you at the moment.

**What problems is scagile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The tool’s visualizations of our value streams and customer journeys have been truly helpful. It’s given us a way to directly connect our daily work with the value we’re delivering to our customers, which has strengthened our focus and purpose. Plus, with the usage of the WSJF Feature prioritization is not something that we dread anymore. It’s incredibly intuitive and has helped us deliver results that truly matter.

  ### 4. Intuitive to use and easy setups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Desislava S. | Software Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2024

**What do you like best about scagile?**

I’ve worked with quite a few agile tools, and I have to say, Scagile is by far one of the easiest to set up. Getting started was smooth and didn’t require extensive onboarding sessions. Within a day, we had our value streams, teams, and boards up and running, and everyone was able to jump right in. The interface is simple and intuitive, which made it easy for my team to get on board quickly.

**What do you dislike about scagile?**

We’re still getting used to the tool, but I can say I’m impressed so far. It would be great if they added more customization options as they continue to develop it—just to make it even more adaptable to different workflows.

**What problems is scagile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scagile has saved us a ton of time with its easy setup. We were able to start using agile processes almost immediately, which allowed us to focus on our core tasks without spending days figuring out configurations. This quick start has helped reduce the usual resistance to new tools and has increased adoption across our teams.

  ### 5. The Team Insights are a real Game Changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ekaterina P. | Scrum Master/ Agile Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2024

**What do you like best about scagile?**

There is this feature called „Team performance insights“ and it is exactly what we've been missing. It's given us clear visibility into team activities and makes it easy to identify bottlenecks before they become issues. I find this part of the app quite valuable, especially because setting it up didn’t require a lot of tweaking, it just works. It’s allowed us to make more informed decisions about where to focus our resources.

**What do you dislike about scagile?**

I’m still exploring its capabilities, so I’m curious to see if the tool can continue to meet our needs as we grow. One suggestion would be to add more detailed reporting options for even deeper insights.

**What problems is scagile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scagile has really helped us enhance our team's performance and alignment. With insights that show exactly where we stand, we’re able to make smarter, faster decisions and improve team productivity. It’s definitely had a positive impact on our project timelines and the quality of our deliverables.

  ### 6. Streamlined PI Planning

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julian B. | Product Owner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2024

**What do you like best about scagile?**

The PI planning feature in Scagile has made our planning sessions more efficient. Before using Scagile, keeping our planning sessions organized was a challenge, especially with multiple teams. Now, we can set priorities, assign tasks, and ensure that everyone stays aligned—all in one place. It’s integrated nicely with the rest of the tool, making planning feel like a natural part of our workflow.

**What do you dislike about scagile?**

I haven’t found any major downsides. Since we’re still early in our journey with Scagile, I’m hoping they’ll continue to develop and refine the PI Planning feature. A bit more customization in planning views would be nice, but overall, it’s been a positive experience

**What problems is scagile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scagile has transformed the way we approach our plannings. We’re able to get everyone on the same page quickly, which has boosted team coordination and helped us stay on track with project goals. It’s made planning more structured and collaborative, leading to smoother project execution.

  ### 7. An Intuitive and Powerful Agile Tool: Easy to Use with Promising Potential

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2024

**What do you like best about scagile?**

The tool is quite intuitive and easy to use, which has been a huge advantage for our team. Setting up value streams, ARTs, teams, and boards was a smooth experience. Despite being new to the tool, we found that adapting it to our specific workflows didn’t require much effort. Its layout and features have a steep learning curve, but this only means it offers depth and flexibility—once you get the hang of it, the tool becomes a powerful asset for agile project management. The ability to create structures, like value streams and teams, without complex configurations makes it easy to get started and manage projects right away.
last but certainly not least - I really like the UI of the app.

**What do you dislike about scagile?**

Tbh I haven’t found anything to dislike so far. Since the tool is still new to us, it's hard to predict how it will perform in the long run. That said, it looks very promising, and I’m happy with the results up to this point. Over the past two years, we’ve tried several other tools, but none have fully met our needs — until now :)

**What problems is scagile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us, this has been a game-changer. The tool helps us create value streams and manage teams in a way that keeps everyone focused on delivering value continuously. By aligning business goals with project execution, we’re seeing improved coordination and clearer priorities across the board, which ultimately leads to better outcomes for our customers.

  ### 8. Perfect for all Organization Levels

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2024

Value stream management has been a game-changer for us. We can easily track how work flows from start to finish, ensuring we’re always delivering value to our customers. The setup is simple, and it gives us a good view of our processes. This functionality has allowed us to quickly identify and resolve bottlenecks, and it’s been really helpful for keeping us aligned with our business objectives.

**What do you dislike about scagile?**

So far, I have no complaints. I’m impressed by the tool overall. My only wish is that they add even more ways to analyze our workflow.

**What problems is scagile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scagile has transformed the way we manage our value streams. It’s given us a clear, organized view of our workflows, which has helped us stay focused on delivering consistent value to our customers. What I really love are the improvement suggestions for agile teams, never seen anything like that before and we wre able to boost our productivity.

  ### 11. "Unleashing the Power of Scaled Agile: A Review of Scagile Methodologies"

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Satyan M. | SAP ABAP Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2023

**What do you like best about scagile?**

One of the key benefits of Scaled Agile is that it allows organizations to align their Agile development efforts with their overall business strategy, by providing a framework for implementing Agile practices across multiple teams and departments. SAFe also includes roles, events, and artifacts that help to coordinate the work of multiple teams and ensure that everyone is working towards the same goals.

Another benefit of Scaled Agile is that it promotes a culture of continuous improvement, by encouraging teams to regularly reflect on their work and make adjustments as needed. This helps organizations to continuously adapt and evolve to meet the changing needs of their customers.

Lastly, SAFe's Lean-Agile principles empower the team to continuously improve their process, deliver incrementally and faster and also improve the collaboration among different teams.

All of these benefits help organizations to create high-performing teams and deliver value to their customers more quickly and efficiently.

However, it's worth mentioning that Scaled Agile framework may not be suitable for small organization or projects, it might be an overkill and therefore, it's important to evaluate whether it's the right fit before adoption.

**What do you dislike about scagile?**

It's important to keep in mind that every organization is unique and what works for one may not work for another. What is best for a particular organization depends on the organization's culture, goals, and constraints. As such, it's a good idea to carefully evaluate the use of Scaled Agile Framework within your organization, weigh the benefits and drawbacks, and see if it fits your needs before deciding to adopt it.

**What problems is scagile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. The coordination and alignment of multiple Agile teams working on a single project.
2. Managing dependencies between teams and ensuring that all teams are working towards a common goal.
3. Balancing the needs of different stakeholders, such as development teams, business stakeholders, and customers
4. Handling the increased complexity that comes with large-scale projects
5. Improving communication and collaboration across teams

Benefits
1. Improved alignment and collaboration among teams, stakeholders, and customers.
 2. Increased visibility into project progress and status.
3. Better management of dependencies and risks.
4. Greater ability to handle changes and adapt to new requirements.
5. Increased agility and speed of delivery
6. Enhancing the ability of a team to handle large-scale projects.
7. It's important to note that Scaled Agile is not a one-size-fits-all solution, and organizations may need to tailor the framework to fit their specific needs and constraints.
8. It's not a magical solution, but a framework that helps organizations to understand how to scale the agile practices to make them work for large projects, in a way that fits their specific context and culture.
