Macros were extremely useful while working for a contract research organization. A listing that needed to be generated hundreds of times could be called in just a few lines of code **What do you dislike about SAS Augmented Analytics & Business Intelligence?** Although it is powerful, there is a steep learning curve and the syntax is slightly more difficult than other languages. Another issue is that SAS is not a free software. Since Hadoop is a relatively new technology SAS/Access to Hadoop is not stable. Using the stored process feature combined with information maps and the portal, I can build a web-site to do just about anything. **What do you dislike about SAS Augmented Analytics & Business Intelligence?** As a system administrator, I dislike the lack of an established work-flow for managing content and data in SAS BI. Aside from the built-in security of the Metadata and the underlying OS security, there seems to be very little to help promote governance, consistency and 'a single view' of data and information. The SAS-user mentality has traditionally been every-man-for-himself, and this seems to translate into SAS BI as well. **Recommendations to others considering SAS Augmented Analytics & Business Intelligence:** Make sure you design well, document your design, and plan for portability.
