## SAP Analytics Cloud Reviews
  ### 1. Versatile Dashboards with Familiar Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

I appreciate the versatility of SAP Analytics Cloud. I like its interface, which I find familiar after working with SAP for several years. I also enjoy the ability to change the theme, and I find the placement of buttons and their icons appealing.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

It can really get complicated if you go too deep into every button in the app. In my ex-company, it was hard to have every button translated, many of them were in German.

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Analytics Cloud helps solve day-to-day company problems by presenting them as visuals everyone can understand.

  ### 2. Powerful Integration with Room for Enhancement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giovanni M.

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2025

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

I really like how SAP Analytics Cloud integrates everything in one platform, making it easy to manage various processes seamlessly. The intuitive dashboard building allows me to visualize complex data effortlessly, which significantly enhances my understanding and ability to draw insights quickly. Furthermore, the connection with SAP HANA and other SAP systems is extremely effective, improving data symbiosis across platforms. The predictive features and smart insights are other aspects that I find impressive, as they enable me to uncover trends and insights without needing to delve into complex model building or write complicated scripts.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

I find that some features of SAP Analytics Cloud feel slow when dealing with very large datasets, which can hinder efficiency in data analysis tasks. Additionally, the customization options for visuals seem a bit limited, restricting the ability to tailor reports and dashboards to specific needs. Managing user permissions also could be more flexible to better accommodate various organizational roles.

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Analytics Cloud to centralize data, simplifying reporting and analysis. It enhances planning with real-time collaboration, providing predictive insights without complex models. The integration with SAP systems and the intuitive dashboard building are standout features.

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

I like how easy it is to share the dashboard and work on them. I also like the visual aspects of the data and how you can play with the charts and other graphs

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

I dislike how sometimes it is slow but I am not sure if that is data issue or not. I also don't like that sometimes the UI looks old and not friendly to use

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of users using Excel or other products outside of SAP to visualize the data. It solves the problem of report and visualizations of the data

  ### 4. Unified SAP Experience, But a Steep Learning Curve

That it is a part of all the SAP conjoined together. Everything is on the cloud. Provided all the necessary tools for analytical data to delve deep into it.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

It required quite a lot of learning to actually use it. Visuals are quite lacking in "spirit" - kind of dull. If not using other SAP tools it's not anything too "great".

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves reporting the analytical data to other personnel within my company. Collaborate with colleagues on planning together on one platform. Reducing extra steps within such processes.

  ### 5. Real-Time S/4HANA Integration and Modern Dashboards That Tame Finance Planning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

seamless live integration with our S/4HANA system, which keeps all our data real-time and eliminates the old extract-refresh headaches. Combined with the clean, modern dashboards and strong built-in planning features, it let our finance team move away from spreadsheet chaos into something collaborative and actually useful.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

unreliable the Excel exports still are: formatting gets mangled, large datasets often time out or truncate, and it forces our finance team to keep relying on manual workarounds despite all the other modern features.

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Analytics Cloud fixes our scattered data and endless Excel mess by connecting real-time to S/4HANA for reporting, planning, and forecasting all in one spot, so we finally make quicker decisions without bugging IT every five minutes.

  ### 26. Solid analytics platform with strong integration.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

SAP Analytics Cloud excels at connecting planning, analytics, and predictive capabilities in one environment. Its strongest advantage is the seamless integration with SAP data sources like S/4HANA and BW, which makes real-time reporting straightforward and reliable. The modeling layer is flexible enough for complex business scenarios, and the collaboration features help teams stay aligned. The overall value comes from having planning and analytics tightly coupled, reducing tool fragmentation and speeding up decision-making.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

SAC still suffers from performance inconsistencies, especially when working with large models or complex calculations. The UI can feel unintuitive at times, and new users often face a steep learning curve despite the claim of being self-service friendly. Some features feel half-finished or overly rigid compared to specialized BI tools. Integration with non-SAP systems is possible but far less smooth, which limits flexibility in hybrid landscapes. Customer support is helpful but often slow when issues become technical.

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Analytics Cloud helps consolidate planning, reporting, and analytics into a single platform, removing the need for multiple disconnected tools. It solves the challenge of working with fragmented data by providing direct, real-time access to SAP systems, which improves data accuracy and speeds up decision-making. The unified modeling layer reduces manual effort and ensures consistent logic across reports and plans. Overall, it streamlines workflows, increases transparency, and helps teams collaborate more effectively on shared business insights.

  ### 27. Unified Analytics Tool with Data Blending and Linked Dimensions Features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

One thing I really appreciate is how you can combine different models in a story using data blending, which makes it a lot easier to analyze info side-by-side without having to rebuild everything. And then there's the linked dimensions feature, which basically keeps filters in sync across charts even if they come from different models... super helpful so the whole dashboard moves together instead of feeling disconnected.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

As an old SAP BO Consultant i would really appreciate to have calculated dimensions feature with BW live connection.

The other thing I dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud is that performance can be a bit slow sometimes, especially with larger models. It would also be really helpful to have more features for debugging performance issues.

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With SAC, we can pull the data together in one place and build visualizations that actually make the information easy to understand - charts, tables, KPI tiles, all that. It's also pretty easy for users to develop their own dashboards or make small changes without needing a whole IT project behind it, which saves a ton of time.

Another big benefit is that it's a cloud tool, so we don't have to deal with on-premise maintenance or upgrades anymore. Everything is handled automatically, and we get new features every quarter, which kinda makes the whole thing feel more future-proof. Overall it's cut down a lot of manual work, improved how fast we can get insights, and just made our reporting and planning process smoother.

  ### 28. Solid tool with a lot of potential (once you get used to it)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2025

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

What I appreciate most about SAP Analytics Cloud is the way it brings everything together in one centralized location. Previously, my data and dashboards were scattered across different platforms, but now I can consolidate everything within a single environment. The visualizations are quite clear once you get a sense of how the tool operates, and the real-time data connection proves to be genuinely helpful. It’s especially valuable when I need to make quick decisions and can’t afford to wait for someone to manually refresh a report.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

In my experience, the steep learning curve was the most difficult part. Certain features felt a bit buried within menus that were confusing at first. I also wouldn't call the initial setup straightforward; it took some trial and error, and for several days, I wasn't entirely sure everything was configured properly. While support is helpful, there were times especially when I was stuck on smaller issues when I wished the response times were faster.

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having all my data consolidated in one place saves me a significant amount of time, as I no longer need to switch between multiple tools. It also provides the team with a single source of truth, which eliminates confusion and disagreements over conflicting versions of the same figures. The integrated forecasting feature accelerates decision-making because I can test different scenarios directly, without the need to export data elsewhere. All in all, this has made my entire workflow much faster and more streamlined.
