"Samsung SDK has excellent features for developing applications"

4/5

What do you like best about Samsung GALAXY SDK?

I like Samsung Galaxy sdk for developing mobile apps because it offers a wide range of features and libraries for creating high quality apps within no time. With the use of Accessory SDK, I can easily connect the gear devices to my Samsung smart device and define a new service between them for using its functions.

It offers a completely new Camera SDK for development of API’s related to the camera functioning and the guide has been prepared in a way such that even if you are using it for the first time, it won’t be difficult for you to understand the app development. It also has a Rich Notifications SDK which provides the option to personalize your content so that it becomes appealing with minimum effort required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Samsung GALAXY SDK?

I personally dislike the Audio SDK present in the Samsung SDK because the audio input like microphone has not been able to support many of the models which are benefited from Samsung Professional Audio. Also as an Android Developer, we need to completely architect some of the audio portion of Samsung apps so that we can run it on Samsung device subset models. Recommendations to others considering Samsung GALAXY SDK:

Overall it is a free SDK which can be used by the developers with lot of support available from the Samsung community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Samsung GALAXY SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have realized many benefits of Samsung Galaxy SDK such as it capability to register the certificates, the Extension API for providing advance access on Samsung platform as well as Web Devices via Remote test labs.

Its MultiWindow SDK provides the capability to run more than one resizable apps at the same time so that I can run applications along with other applications also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
