SalesRun CPQ Reviews & Product Details

SalesRun is a commercial governance and CPQ software provider headquartered in the United States, specializing in digital solutions for the complex manufacturing sector. The organization was founded to address the persistent fragmentation between front-end sales departments and back-end production facilities. By centralizing the entire quote-to-order lifecycle, the company has scaled to support build-to-order manufacturers of all sizes. The platform functions as a specialized data bridge between a firm’s CRM environment and its ERP production readiness, ensuring total organizational alignment throughout the transaction journey. The core architecture centers on a logic-based configuration engine that enforces strict engineering and financial rules in real time. Primary features include an intuitive guided-selling interface for sales teams, automated generation of engineering-grade Bills of Materials, and a robust pricing governance layer. This system enables users to independently produce complex configurations and branded proposals while the software automatically validates product compatibility and synchronizes live cost data across the entire enterprise. SalesRun solves the critical challenge of non-buildable quotes and profit erosion caused by manual pricing errors or outdated spreadsheets. By implementing platform-set governance, the product ensures all transactions remain within approved commercial and technical parameters before they reach the customer. This prevents the delivery of inaccurate pricing or technically impossible specifications. The primary value lies in the ability of the system to protect profit margins and eliminate the administrative friction and document churn between sales and engineering. This approach ultimately transforms fragmented lead-to-order processes into a precise, automated sales production line that enhances operational efficiency and customer trust. SalesRun CPQ further supports long-term scalability by allowing manufacturers to update their rulesets and pricing logic centrally, ensuring that every representative in the field remains compliant with the most current corporate strategies and manufacturing capabilities.
