"Useful Document Generation"

What do you like best about S-Docs?

S-Doc is a very useful document generation tool.

The Documentations is easy to understand and easy to implement. We have used it for multiple clients and all out clients are satisfied with the solution.

SDocs can be easy integrated with its own document generation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about S-Docs?

The pricing for SDoc is tiered to minimum 25 users. This makes is an expensive product for smaller organization with 20 or less users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Super fast and super easy"

What do you like best about S-Docs?

I like how fast document generation is as compared to other document generation tools out there. Also, while there is a learning curve and migrating existing templates can be tedious, overall, the product fits our needs very well.

The technical support team was excellent at helping me resolve some technical issues we encountered during migration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about S-Docs?

Support for using DOCX templates could use some work. Certain field values are not properly escaped which can result in broken DOCX output. Recommend using HTML instead.

PDF generation uses Salesforce's in-built PDF generator which is missing a lot of functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A technically capable Salesforce native app that has a pretty short learning curve"

What do you like best about S-Docs?

Very effective low overhead Document Generation using a native Salesforce App. A web designer that knows HTML and CSS that is tasked with designing the document output can easily assemble the report source and formatting using their existing skillset. No specific deep technical skills are required to handle any document generated. There is a nice stream of new features that are released every few years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about S-Docs?

The method of producing output that requires complex SOQL queries is challenging. The error messages that are produced at document runtime do not provide enough detail to understand what went wrong. What do you like best about S-Docs?

As a Salesforce Summit partner document generation is a frequent requirement for our clients, and S-docs is always our top recommendation. We love how it's completely on platform,making setup a cinch and eliminating the need for additional penetration and security tests compared to off platform competitors. There aren't many downsides. If I was being picky I would say the asynchronous nature means you need to pay extra attention when building doc gen into flows, but it's no different to competitor solutions and we have developed strategies to work around this. What do you like best about S-Docs?

S-Docs is really easy to use, has useful documentation and helpful support staff. You can do some really quite sophisticated things with embedded queries, related lists, etc, effectively embedding process automation inside document templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

S-Docs recently changed their pricing model for our team, making it approximately 10 times more expensive to use. Consequently it's not longer a viable long term option for us and we are moving to a cheaper alternative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
