Easy to see price data which is essential to running my business. Transfers are easily coordinated. System is very user-friendly. Staff are quick to answer questions and solve problems when they arise. Updates are frequently done to improve the system. Very transparent system with all information you could possibly want. The system does not allow decimal quantities to be entered which leaves room for possible error when we have to submit a 2.5ml bottle as one unit. The system does not allow us to scan in prescriptions that are owed, they have to be typed in which is more time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Love the continuous upgrades with features that allow small pharmacies to compete with box box pharmacies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the colors are very bright and make it easier to visualize different options. i also like that you can go into different tabs before even beginning a processing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the interface looks like a 1990s computer screen so it can be a little difficult to read Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is fast, efficient and ease in storing and retrieval of information Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Technical support is relatively poor and sometimes it becomes slow when loaded with data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that it is very easy to use a combination of benefits when billing a prescription claim. I also like how easy it is to create a patient billing statement Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We just switched from HBS to RX30 about 1 week ago. I dislike that I can't easily see certain things on one screen like I previously could. For example I have to mouse over to see a patients sort code(hospital location) where before I could easily see. I also have a hard time easily seeing the status of a prescription. Great access, great customer support, excellent vertical integration between software and hardware. Beta testing is rock solid, so that the finished product works virtually seamlessly. The straightforward software is easier than any other pharmacy software I've encountered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Customer support can, at times, be difficult to get in touch with. In the early years of HBS, you would almost always get a programmer to help troubleshoot. These days, the process is not as streamlined. Also, if there is a unique issue that your system needs addressed, it's not likely to be customizable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Rx30 has a decent tracking system. Letting us know if prescriptions are ready or in process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that every printer is routed to a specific IP address so if you have to move around equipment everything has to be recoded to fit that IP address. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the way things are organized in the main menu—by function, and now that I’ve got the hang of it, I can manuever between tasks quickly. It’s all my information in one place: drug orders, doctors, prescriptions, patient’s history and allergies and insurance, and a hundred other things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Besides the interface that looks like it’s decades old (black screen and archaic font, like a text-based adventure game), Rx30 has its glitches: every few days the software completely shuts down without warning and without saving work—particularly frustrating when I type prescriptions and lose all progress. It also has an “edit/refill” mode and a “fill” mode both have limitations—for example, when in a patient’s Rx history box, one mode shows the doctor’s name but the other mode shows patient’s copay. So if I’m on the phone with a patient, I have to quickly change between screens to see all their information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don’t really have anything nice to say about it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I’m really experienced in using RX30 software but I wouldn’t pick it as my choice of software. I find it not easy to use if it’s your first time and training people to use it is difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
black screen is easy on eyes, other than that this system is difficult to navigate unless you know where things are hidden Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
hunting through endless menus to find what I need Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
