With time Runecast has grown to audit also Cloud and Hybrid cloud environments. Security compliance and hardware compatibility are some of the best features that we get when using Runecast. **What do you dislike about Runecast?** What I dislike about Runecast was that we had the information about some issues or non best practices were implemented and was so easy to add an option in the tool to fix that small issues automatically with just a click. It is easy to deploy as a simple, self-contained appliance and is automatically updated with built-in lifecycle management of the appliance itself. It also contains automated remediation of findings using auto-generated scripts. **What do you dislike about Runecast?** Runecast is continuing to add solutions it works with to provide automated security, compliance, and best practices recommendations. If there is a dislike, it is there could be solutions out there that Runecast does not work with as of yet. **Recommendations to others considering Runecast:** Runecast offers a trial license to download and try out the product in your own production environment. I have used Runecast Analyzer to streamline this process across both on-premises technologies, such as VMware vSphere, Horizon, and NSX-T, to cloud solutions such as AWS and Azure. Each one has a detailed explaination of what the security threat is, how to resolve it and sometimes there's even a button to create a script to automate resolving the security threat automatically. **What do you dislike about Runecast?** There's too much data to comprehend upon first glance. When I first installed it, I was overwhelmed by the literal thousands of alerts in my environment. But after working with my sales engineer and reading some documentation I was able to whittle the alerts down to a more manageable amount. **What problems is Runecast solving and how is that benefiting you?** My company requires we be compliance with PCI standards. Prior to Runecast I would keep an excel sheet of all the PCI standards and my resolutions for each. This constantly was out-dated but Runecast updates on the fly and is much easier to keep an eye on things. ### 10. With a fair and straightforward pricing model, easy-to-use interface, and easy-to-digest suggestions, Runecast Analyzer made perfect sense to deploy in our environment where staff time is a precious resource. **What do you dislike about Runecast?** Sometimes the number of advisories can be overwhelming, and it isn't always clear what to prioritise when first running the tool over a new environment.
