The Sewio’s accuracy and high refresh rate gets us the reliability we need for any indoor sports and athlete performance tracking – from basketball, handball to ice-hockey. The small size of tags and the wireless charging of these tags makes it easy to use them and maintain them overtime. We are using Sewio RTLS for projects within the entertainment industry, museums and galleries. Each project proved us that the accuracy and reliability is way above what the project needed. What also soon turns out to be a great advantage is the system scalability, as with Sewio the indoor tracking coverage can be added to additional halls in the same instance without reconfiguring/pausing it. Having used Sewio for the past few years I can say the biggest positive about this technology is the high degree of accuracy (Within 1 foot) combined with the ultra-high refresh rate. The combination of these makes it a world class real time location system. Since Sewio uses UWB (Ultra-Wide Band) it can be installed in very harsh environments. One of my biggest concerns about choosing the correct RTLS technology was battery life, Sewio uses what’s know as Time Difference of Arrival to determine location, using this method it enables the tags to not only last a lot longer but allows you to track over 1000 items at once. One of my other requirements for choosing a RTLS system was scalability, with Sewio I can easily expand the system by adding extra readers to grow the system over time. In pallet logistics Sewio RTLS is great tool for pallet localization on free area. The accuracy is even higher than needed. The response time on absolutelly different level (shorter) than we are used to from other logistics software (WMS, ERP, MES...). The flexibility of the system is really needed in the "live" projects, specially at the begginig and when costumer doesn't know exactely what he will need. It took only 3 months from the contract to the RTLS to be up and running including integration with 3rd tools. The system uptime is 99% and we can easily add more tracked objects and even add more area coverage without the need to reconfigure the current installation.
