Who is Tempo Strategic Roadmaps (formerly Roadmunk) pricing best suited for?

Roadmunk by Tempo's pricing is best suited for mid-market product and engineering teams that need multi-stakeholder roadmap visibility. G2 reviewers from mid-market companies in computer software, IT services, and financial services represent the most active user base and report the strongest value from the Business and Professional tiers. The $49 Business tier fits collaborative product teams managing multiple roadmaps across departments. G2 reviewers from small businesses and solo creators frequently cite the pricing of Roadmunk by Tempo as a barrier, making the Starter tier a poor fit for budget-constrained individuals. Enterprise teams at large organizations benefit most from the custom-quoted Enterprise tier, particularly when cross-functional alignment and advanced security are priorities.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Tempo Strategic Roadmaps (formerly Roadmunk)?

Roadmunk by Tempo offers no permanent free tier, but G2's pricing data confirms a free trial is available for evaluation. The Starter tier at $19 supports individual visualization with limited export and sharing options — G2 reviewers note the Starter plan restricts exports to URL-only, with no image export. The Business tier at $49 unlocks team collaboration features. The Professional tier at $99 adds advanced security and priority support. Roadmunk by Tempo's Enterprise tier requires a custom quote and covers organization-wide alignment. G2 reviewers highlight that key collaborative and integration features, including Jira sync and multi-roadmap master views, are gated behind higher-paid tiers.

Is Tempo Strategic Roadmaps (formerly Roadmunk) considered good value for its pricing?

Roadmunk by Tempo earns a 4.0/5 on G2, but pricing concerns are among the most frequently cited drawbacks across all company sizes. G2 reviewers from small businesses and startups consistently flag the per-user cost as steep relative to the feature set, particularly at mid-tier levels. However, mid-market and enterprise reviewers who rely on Jira integration, master roadmap views, and multi-stakeholder visibility tend to rate the value more favorably. G2 reviews of Roadmunk by Tempo compare it favorably against Aha for visual simplicity, though some reviewers note Aha offers more advanced features. The pricing of Roadmunk by Tempo delivers strongest value for teams where roadmap alignment and stakeholder communication justify the cost.

What do you like best about Tempo Strategic Roadmaps (formerly Roadmunk)?

I like using Roadmunk by Tempo because it replaced a messy mix of sticky notes and Google Docs, allowing everything to live in one place. This makes it easier to plan my content creation calendar and map where I want to take my channel. The visual timeline view is particularly helpful. As a creator, my schedule is always shifting, so being able to drag and drop on a timeline saves me a lot of time and energy. The initial setup was pretty easy too; I had my first roadmap in just 30 minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tempo Strategic Roadmaps (formerly Roadmunk)?

The price feels a bit steep for a solo creator. A lighter mobile app would be another thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing I like about this Roadmunk platforms it makes creating product road map planning and communication very easier it also helps us in converting product ideas customer feedback priorities and timelines into a clear visual road map that are easy to share with our internal teams and leadership their timeline and swimlane style views are very useful because different stakeholders needs different level of details this platform helps us in achieving that our product team can manage priorities and planning in detail while our leadership team or even cross functional team can view a cleaner strategic roadmap. So like platform is very supportive in terms of customising templates and integrations, which makes our work easier in connecting road map planning with existing workflows. What do you dislike about Tempo Strategic Roadmaps (formerly Roadmunk)?

Drawback of this platform it can take some time to set up specially if the team has multiple products and many stakeholders or even complex road map categories their tool is powerful but getting the structure requires more complex planning also for smaller and mid sized team some features may feel more advanced than required their pricing is also bit on a higher scale should be considered 4 midsize teams as well simple road map need a basic spreadsheet or presentation might feel faster initially this platform has become valuable when road map visibility and alignment become important.
