I really appreciate how you can link the dimensions directly to the workbook; it's a great feature. The setup for creating dimension group folders is also well designed. Another aspect I like is the ability to overlap drawings, which makes it easier to review changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The dimension export tool is practically useless. For some reason, when I export drawings, they end up being enormous, making it almost impossible to see the dimensions clearly—especially the count values. The dimensions shrink down to tiny dots that are barely visible on the drawing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love iTWO costX because Im a construction Estimator and its the best Estimating Software I have used by far.Efficent since I first used MS Excel to do estimating this software has made it all easy and can even be able to store data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Integrated measurement and workbooks equal easier checking and review. The workbook works much the same as Excel (same formulas, format etc), so seasoned industry professionals should be right at home. Measurement has some good features such as being able to manually change measured shapes afterwards. Server based, so if you're working on something with colleagues from another office, in theory things should be much simpler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As mentioned above, CostX is based on a central server. This does mean that it is susceptible to IT issues; if the server is down you might not be able to use it. More in-depth than Autodesk or CATO, so learning needs to be structured and formalised.
