
revVana is a lightweight yet powerful extension of Salesforce that pairs particularly well with Salesforce CPQ. It allowed me to forecast not only my expected revenue on closed deals, but model out my consultants' expected utilization in a cheaper and easier way than with a tool like FinancialForce. One of its best features is also a drawback, and that is its flexbility. revVana gives the ability to split and/or roll up revenue forecasting by region, team, product, business unit, etc. It's critical to find a consulting team knowledgable in revVana best practices to ensure you don't over-engineer.
