# Does the Motive map suit following one driver better than watching several, since it recentres on the selected one?

Going by G2 reviews, it does: the map is built around the selected vehicle, so following one driver and looking back at what happened is where it works best, while watching several nearby drivers means resetting the view between them. New users also mention taking a little while to find their way to video. That design pays off for the job most people use it for, since video footage is one of the most valued features, for verifying a driver's actions, providing proof of delivery and coaching with real examples.

The map centring on a driver suits the job it's mostly used for: following one vehicle, then reviewing what happened.
Driver-by-driver makes sense for coaching because you’re usually investigating one event anyway. I’d be more curious about dispatch workflows where someone genuinely needs several nearby vehicles visible at once.
