I use Revelo to search for international opportunities and identify the best positions for my professional goals. I like that the filters are very precise and accurate, making it easier to find opportunities aligned with my profile. I love how the specialists at Revelo strive to ensure a good match between the company and the people. They ask questions about work style, leadership style, and how you like to be managed, which is really valuable and important to me. Revelo is very careful to ensure that when you go to a new place, the company's culture is aligned with your expectations and career goals. Additionally, the initial setup process is very easy and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Revelo?**

I believe they could improve in career growth, perhaps having an incentive from Revelo itself to guide companies towards salary increases, or even some extra bonus for employees. However, I understand that it is often expected that the professional working there day-to-day takes the initiative, but maybe for people who are more introverted, this could be done by the person responsible for the professional's experience.

**What do you like best about Revelo?**

They are a third-party contractor. Still, they try to be as transparent as possible and help you without burdening you with duplicate administration. They’re there if you have any issues, but if everything is fine, they won’t bother you at all.

The clients are good, the relationship is good. The benefits, if you are in Colombia or Brazil are great. Are less good in the rest of Latin America, but still they makes sense.

**What do you dislike about Revelo?**

As a remote company with a stronger presence in South America, the benefits in Central America feel more limited.

**What problems is Revelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Work opportunities are greater in the US and outside my country. Revelo makes it easy to connect with these opportunities, and it also makes receiving payments from them much simpler. That has helped me feel more employable across different countries and able to access higher salaries.

**What do you like best about Revelo?**

Transparency and great support from staff. Not only do I know I can always talk to my "handler" there, but most of the time, they're proactive and reach out to me to check and propose improvements and solutions.

**What do you dislike about Revelo?**

Payment can be a little tricky, sometimes. I'm always paid, that's never an issue, but the day of the payment and some delays sometimes worries. So far, it hasn't been that common, but when it happens, it's not great.

**What problems is Revelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working for a US company, living in Brazil, and being paid in USD instead of BRL is the main perk here, and it seems to work for everybody: the US company pays less than it would for a "national" talent, and the conversion makes it so I get paid more than I did working for Brazilian companies.

**What do you like best about Revelo?**

Revelo gives an excellent experience in applying for freelance job, with easy to navigate dashboard, I can connect and apply for a job posted on the platform easily. I have use it for three years with monthly usage and has landed more than 100++ freelance job here, customer support is very helpful whenever I had dispute with client, since all job is provided with a contract, most of the time, I win the dispute. Initial implementation like registration and profile filling is quite straightforward, they guide us and giving tips to win a job bid and how to attract and landing job effectively. Integration with Slack has improves communication with client, all conversation is recorded and it has provide a secure cloud storage.

Lately, high-paying freelance job is hard to come-by, looks like less company is finding and using freelance worker nowadays. I hope Revelo can do something about this issue.

Revelo has saved us from a lot of administrative hassle for hiring global freelancers. The unified monthly hardware procurement system makes it so much easier. Instead of dealing with complex international shipping logistics, customs duties, and finding local tech vendors, I can order standardized preconfigured corporate laptops directly through the platform and have them delivered straight to the workers' homes. Revelo manages all the necessary hardware for the contract and ships it directly, so we don't have to manually manage it from our end. They made our initial rollout seamless by assigning a single point of contact who guided our HR team through local labor customs and expectations before our first hire.

I feel like the direct sourcing transparency is a bit restricted. The platform acts as a strict intermediary during the initial matching phase, which means I can't directly browse their entire database of engineers and independent contractors to look for niche skill sets. Several things that I like is Revelo keeps our pipeline efficient by using a top-three candidate delivery model which is fantastic. I love many things about Revelo, especially the dedicated account concierge, which is a big benefit. It simplifies my work by providing a single human point of contact who handles all localized HR and nuances, and employee questions. I don't have to become an expert in foreign labor codes to keep my team happy and effective. I'm also really impressed with the platform's handling of liability and compliance. Revelo manages these aspects, so I don't have to. This feature is very valuable because many things are solved by them, not by me. Additionally, the localized documentation workflow is impressively fast. Once we choose a hire, the system automatically generates country-specific text and legal forms in the employee's native language, allowing us to move from an offer letter to a fully operational start date in less than a week.

I love Revelo as it is a great tool to get in touch with clients globally. It's easy to set up the payment method, and I find the options to request permissions and vacations so intuitive. With the Revelo app, I don't need to send an email to request permissions or vacations; I can simply do it through the app. Also, setting up payment information is straightforward, so I don't have to email changes like updating my bank account. The initial setup of Revelo was also very easy, as all the options are intuitive.

They could improve the benefits they offer. For example, they have some extra benefits like gym access and office workspaces, but I only use the GitHub Copilot license. A good extra benefit could be an amount to buy a new computer, at least yearly.

We love the Revelo culture, the portal, and the people. The service is fantastic. Revelo offers omni-channel communication, and we prefer Slack, so that's where most of it takes place. We always feel that we're in the know and never left in the dark. Our two data engineers are rockstars and they fit right into the culture we've created at our business. Revelo is professional and down to earth at the same time. We know that Revelo has our back covered regarding contractor compliance and meeting national and local standards of whichever country our team is based in. We communicate with the Revelo team via Slack, and they're insanely responsive. We value their communication style. They listen to our needs and understand our business.

Keep improving the portal. We love it as is already but surprise us with even more capabilities. At the end of the day, the talent pool matters more than anything so keep up the good work on sourcing talent.

I truly appreciate how Revelo keeps close contact with us to ensure we are having a great experience inside the company. They maintain contact with the company to see how I am performing and with me to get my feedback about the work environment, ensuring it's a good place to work. This helps create a win-win situation for both sides. Additionally, their intermediation with benefits, like applying discounts on my payments and covering for healthcare and accountability services, is great because it saves me the hassle of searching for these benefits myself. They also negotiate paid time off with the company. I have access to great opportunities that pay well, and they provide support for any issues I encounter. Overall, the setup was pretty easy; you can log in, create an account, submit your documents, and it's pretty straightforward. Anyone can do it.

One point that can be improved is the referral program. Because they have a way you can refer a friend or a colleague for other open positions and get the reward if the match is done. But we don't have enough feedback about how our referrals are being handled if they are being considerate yet or not. So we don't have any feedback when we refer someone, this is a point they can improve, I think. Another point they can improve is to have multiple bank account setups or multiple payment options because, currently, I need to swap sometimes, and I need to fill all the forms again every time because we only have one payment option. Yeah. It would be great to have more than one.

I really like how Revelo efficiently bridges the gap between companies abroad and talents in Latin America, facilitating my access to job interviews and professional opportunities that I might not find otherwise. Revelo make side-income freelance job finding easy, there are many employer want to connect and hire specific skills talent that they want to contract for short & long term project.
