This tool is extremely easy to use, and it allows me to generate apps in just a few hours—something that would have taken me months to accomplish otherwise. The speed and simplicity are truly impressive. I can turn my thoughts into apps with a few prompts.

**What do you dislike about Replit?**

I used my credits of my first months in 3 days. I did not have the concept of the tokens and credit before as this was my first paid AI app I use. Also loading into apps cost processing power which also means credit used as well.

**What problems is Replit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly cost. If I have to hire someone local to write apps for me it will cost over 10x to 20x time at least.

I find Replit incredibly easy to use, to the point where even a child could navigate the setup process without any issues. This ease of use is something I truly appreciate, as it simplifies what could otherwise be a daunting experience. I also love how innovative Replit is, particularly with its agents feature which significantly reduces the workload and removes a lot of complexity from the process. It's fantastic that Replit provides me with inspiration and ideas for app creation while integrating seamlessly with platforms like Stripe, Google, Amazon, and eBay. Additionally, using Replit with Claw Code has proven to be highly beneficial, streamlining my coding process and making my tasks much more manageable.

Design mode is so good at making great interfaces. The agent is constantly improving and new features are being added constantly based on community feedback which is really important.

Can be expensive when chasing bugs or running in ai circles about implementing something correctly. The biggest issue I had was payment integration but they just rolled out a stripe addon that makes it much easier.

Idea to live website in minutes, its actually crazy. Once I learned how to deploy static html sites ive built 15 and purchased several domains. Ive learned so much about coding while building apps and debugging the AI issues too.

By far, Replit is the easiest Coding agent out there comparing with Lovable, Bolt and a zillion other tools. I love everything about it. They have followed the principle of "Keep it simple and stupid" and it works so well.

The only downside is me running out of credits every month! Initially in 2024, it had a few hiccups but most of them are resolved in 2025.

As a software engineering manager primarily handling a UI/UX team, I have to come up with quick designs that will help my team get on with the project as quickly as possible. Before the Replit era, I used to create my designs manually in Figma. The work that took me a day or two in Figma now takes 10-15 minutes using Replit and that too with better designs and UX ideas with the help of Replit Agent.

When the app is constructing something, it indicates what is actually being done thus enhancing my understanding of the operations. Furthermore, I find the transparency of the tokens extremely beneficial. The ability to go to replit.com/usage and check the credits or money spent for each prompt aids in managing the costs effectively, which is a transparency feature I highly value.

I think currently, Replit does not have the feature where each prompt's cost is shown. I believe Warp has that capability, and I haven't seen it implemented yet on Replit. Additionally, having a feature to refactor code with some guided assistance, possibly including a human-in-the-loop system, would be beneficial for a non-coder like me. Furthermore, I wish importing files could be done at a lower cost so that using Replit on an existing code base wouldn't be as expensive for me.

I love Replit's no-code interface, which provides the flexibility to use natural language across different features, whether technical or less technical, making it powerful for idea generation from conversations and quality prompts. This tool is incredibly quick for crafting landing pages and mock-ups, allowing me to share visual ideas with my team efficiently. When designing basic websites for showcasing product ideas, its speed and ease of styling control over content and design simultaneously are remarkable. The ability to prompt and integrate with powerful agentic AI tools for building web designs makes it highly beneficial. Additionally, the ease of initial setup is a standout, attracting me to its seamless functionality and making it one of the easiest platforms for me to get started with. Overall, compared to other platforms I have tried like HubSpot, Wordpress + plugins and Squarespace, Replit is by far the best due to these compelling features and advantages.

**What do you dislike about Replit?**

Sharing the work in Replit could be improved, with better options for team-sharing even if they don't have a Replit account. Also, I think the web domain hosting feature could be improved. It seems not to offer enough guidance for those unfamiliar with changing DNS settings, which is important for setting up a website. The propagation of DNS server settings, which can take 24 to 48 hours, is particularly challenging and time-consuming. Better support and more intuitive handling of this aspect would add significant value, especially for users who are not so familiar with these technicalities.

**What problems is Replit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I want to share my disastrous experience with Replit to prevent others from going through the same nightmare.

My project started promisingly but quickly turned into a complete disaster, ending with the total abandonment of the project due to Replit’s incompetence and abusive business practices.

1. Deliberate blocking and client retention tactics

After deciding to migrate my project to Google Cloud, Replit blocked the authentication process for 10 full days without any valid reason. This deliberate stalling appears to be a tactic to prevent customers from leaving the platform, effectively trapping them into staying for hosting and backend services.

2. Hidden dependencies and abusive charges

To try to escape this lock-in, I had to pay over $1,600. Later, because of hidden dependencies tied to Replit’s system, I was forced to pay another $600 just to return — yet the issue remained unresolved.
Even one of their own agents (Agent 3) admitted that these charges were “abusive” and abnormal.

3. Unauthorized billed services

The same agent confirmed that Replit was running servers in the background without the customer’s knowledge, generating unauthorized charges. Such behavior is unacceptable and unethical.

4. Incompetent and exhausting support

Although polite, their support team is untrained and ineffective. One of their agents (Agent 4) lacked technical understanding and short-term memory, forcing me to repeat the same explanations for hours.
After 10 exhausting days of circular conversations, I was left mentally drained and sleep-deprived — with no progress at all.

🔚 Conclusion

Replit gives the illusion of a modern, flexible platform, but behind the glossy interface lies a closed, overpriced, and mentally draining system.
My project was completely abandoned after spending over $2,600 and wasting valuable time.
I am now pursuing a chargeback through my bank, as the promised service was never delivered.

💬 In short: Replit promises speed and simplicity, but delivers frustration, stress, and financial loss.
Avoid this modern scam at all costs before you lose your time, money, and peace of mind.

**What do you like best about Replit?**

I find Replit incredibly valuable for several reasons. The setup process is impressively easy, which allows me to get started quickly without hassle. As someone who isn’t a developer by trade, Replit has made developing apps for our business much more accessible, helping bridge the gap in my technical skills and enabling the creation of necessary business applications. The agent feature is particularly useful; being able to simply speak to it and have it solve problems on its own is a significant benefit. I can delegate tasks to it by providing instructions and then step away, trusting it to handle things, which greatly enhances my productivity and efficiency. I also greatly appreciate Replit’s commitment to listening to user feedback and making continuous improvements, which demonstrates their dedication to evolving and enhancing the user experience.

**What do you dislike about Replit?**

Sometimes the agent would get stuck, and there was not a very easy way to get it unstuck to keep going on the right problem.

**What problems is Replit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use the product to develop business apps without being a developer, making it accessible and boosting productivity with its agent that solves problems independently.

**What do you like best about Replit?**

I like that Replit can import any code base, which is really convenient. It helps me deliver very fast and allows me to validate my ideas quickly.

**What do you dislike about Replit?**

So, submission, some question is answer very slow. So some prompts it is very easy. But it's tech about 10 to fifteen minutes. It's like the model is handy. If I start from scratch, it's very easy. Extreme. Easy. But you'll it a week code base, we need a lot of time to fix and to start on.

**What problems is Replit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Replit lets me quickly deliver and validate my ideas, and it imports any code base.

**What do you like best about Replit?**

I find Replit to be the easiest way to do web coding, providing everything I need. I like Graplate itself, especially with the self-testing feature, which is probably the best thing for people like me who are nonprofessionals. It's quite easy to learn and set up in such a short time.

**What do you dislike about Replit?**

Maybe more various designs.

**What problems is Replit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Replit to support my IT and coding skills, especially for onboarding suppliers in the European medical cannabis market with GMP processors and distributors.

Replit allows me to prototype software ideas directly without hiring developers, saving time and costs. Its user-friendly interface helps me deploy and test prototypes swiftly, avoiding months of delay and substantial expenses.

- Could improve for producing UI / UX
- Pricing could be more friendly
- Agents misunderstanding user prompts and instructions 
- Inability to import or merge from another Replit project , within the same Account (manual export - import was needed) 
- Would be nice if users did not have to pay for agent errors and misunderstood prompts

**What problems is Replit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick prototyping and MVPs , for digital B2C products, without needing to procure or sign up for Infra, and associated services.

**What do you like best about Replit?**

I like that Replit takes the guesswork out of deciding where to knock for roofing sales. It's very easy to understand and makes the process simple. I appreciate that it came up with ideas I hadn't even thought of, making it an innovative tool in my workflow. The initial setup was very easy, which is great. Overall, I'm really pleased with how Replit helps me in my work.

I didn't find anything I didn't like about Replit.
