## Relationship Science (RelSci) Reviews
  ### 1. Streamlined Networking with Insightful Relationship Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Horalia P. | Visual Content Manager, Apparel & Fashion, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Relationship Science (RelSci)?**

I love how Relationship Science (RelSci) simplifies and streamlines building and managing key professional connections tailored to our sustainable fashion brand’s needs in the DACH region. The database is incredibly comprehensive and accurate, making it easy to quickly identify and connect with relevant stakeholders. It saves us hours of manual research, connecting us with the right people, like ethical material suppliers, industry editors focused on sustainable fashion, or potential B2B partners who align with our brand values. The relationship tracking feature is also intuitive and user-friendly, letting us log interactions, set follow-up reminders, and keep tabs on all our connections, ensuring we never miss an opportunity to nurture those relationships. RelSci keeps our network organized and actionable. Additionally, it’s one of the most user-friendly setup processes I’ve experienced for a B2B relationship management tool—streamlined and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Relationship Science (RelSci)?**

First, the database, while comprehensive, lacks more granular filtering for fashion-specific contacts. For example, we often need to find suppliers or editors who specialize in sustainable fashion, but the current filtering options don’t let us narrow down contacts by niche focus—like “ethical textile suppliers” or “sustainable fashion editors.” This means we sometimes have to sift through irrelevant contacts, adding extra time to our workflow. Second, the export and sharing features are limited for visual-focused work. As a brand that relies heavily on visual content, we often need to share contact details or relationship notes with our design team. Right now, exporting contact information or interaction logs is clunky—we can’t easily export data in a format that integrates with our design tools or project management software, forcing us to manually copy/paste details, which risks errors and wastes time.

**What problems is Relationship Science (RelSci) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relationship Science (RelSci) to efficiently connect with sustainable fashion stakeholders, eliminating hours of manual research. It helps track relationships with high-value clients and partners, aligning communication and visual content with their interests, and staying updated on industry trends, avoiding gaps in our network.

It maps and analyzes connections, helping users identify potential partners, clients, donors, and board members. It tailors its services to corporations, financial institutions, and nonprofits, making it versatile for different industries

**What do you dislike about Relationship Science (RelSci)?**

Data privacy, cost , complexities are few dislikes

  ### 3. Good database of business and people

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grace T. | Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Relationship Science (RelSci)?**

I found the information on companies and staff helpful in prospecting. I wasted a lot of time calling the wrong people in the past without researching first. Relationship Science helped me take a little time to learn about a company before I started the process.

**What do you dislike about Relationship Science (RelSci)?**

I sometimes found it hard to navigate to find the content I needed. Pages are not so intuitive, but I have found this problem with most software. Maybe my brain doesn't think in the same order as other people's.

**What problems is Relationship Science (RelSci) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prospecting and learning more about companies and people before spending a lot of time working on one.

  ### 4. Solid product but info can be spotty

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Fund-Raising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Relationship Science (RelSci)?**

I find the media alerts that can be set up on RelSci helpful. They are easy to set up, and come into your inbox in a clear legible way. The relationship mapping feature is great but I find this info isn't always available (particularly for Canadian prospects) and that it can be available through more holistic research database platforms.

**What do you dislike about Relationship Science (RelSci)?**

Working in Canada I find there can be a lack of information on names I search. In an instance where I requested a record be updated, it took almost 4 weeks and was missing a great deal of information that I had uncovered during my own research in the meantime. In any case, RelSci can still be a valuable place for leads, particularly with well-known US-based individuals.

**What problems is Relationship Science (RelSci) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RelSci helps find connectors to prospects that can be leveraged at my organization to create warmer contact points.

  ### 5. RelSci Review

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Philipp U. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Relationship Science (RelSci)?**

Not very familiar with RelSci if I'm being honest, but we no longer use it because the information was unreliable.

**What do you dislike about Relationship Science (RelSci)?**

Skewed information that was not accurate a large portion of the time

**What problems is Relationship Science (RelSci) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No longer solving any problems since we have let them go as a data vendor

  ### 6. Not perfect, but neat

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meir B. | Development & Data Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Relationship Science (RelSci)?**

The headline feature is that it can show you who in your network knows the people you're trying to reach. This can give you great ideas on how to reach new donors. It also, depending on the profile, can show a comprehensive proile.

**What do you dislike about Relationship Science (RelSci)?**

It's not a science, ironically. For example, it'll tell you two people are strongly connected because they're both on the board of a major NYC hospital, when that hospital has hundreds of board members, so they don't actually know each other. Also, some people barely have anything in their profile.

**What problems is Relationship Science (RelSci) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us utilize our network to reach new donors. People give to people, not causes, so having somebody in your network vouch for you and connect you increases your chances of getting that donation.

  ### 7. Valuable Relationship Mapping data

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon G. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Relationship Science (RelSci)?**

RelSci shows the strongest professional relationships a prospect might have, as well as contact information and history.

**What do you dislike about Relationship Science (RelSci)?**

The data for some entries isn't always as up to date as it could be.

**Recommendations to others considering Relationship Science (RelSci):**

Not everyone needs relationship mapping, but if they did, RelSci is a valuable tool

**What problems is Relationship Science (RelSci) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use RelSci almost every day to build prospect lists and confirm details

  ### 8. The best product I've used for relationship graphing.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Relationship Science (RelSci)?**

Easy to use, good visual representation of relationship paths and useful relationship information, often also contains useful biographical information and news articles.

**What do you dislike about Relationship Science (RelSci)?**

Sometimes the information on boards and committees isn't quite current.

**Recommendations to others considering Relationship Science (RelSci):**

There is a RelSci module within iWave (a product I love), but it isn't as comprehensive as the full RelSci product. It's worth getting on its own if you think you're going to use it.

**What problems is Relationship Science (RelSci) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use RelSci periodically in my major donor prospect research work. It can be very helpful when trying to figure out angles for approaching prospects successfully.

  ### 9. Great Prospecting Tool!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alison P. | Prospect Management & Research Analyst, Non-Profit Organization Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Relationship Science (RelSci)?**

RelSci is very user friendly and easy to navigate. My favorite feature is the Power Search - it's a super easy way to pull prospects into one list.

**What do you dislike about Relationship Science (RelSci)?**

The information is not always up to date and I spend a fair amount of time sending corrections into the research support staff. That being said, they are always very on top of updating profiles.

**What problems is Relationship Science (RelSci) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RelSci gives me a jumping off point for my research and allows me to find connections between my organization and the record I'm looking at as well as other connections I wouldn't have known to look for.
