They charge a 'restoration fee' no matter how clean or short of a time you've stayed there. I wouldn't recommend this place. **What do you like best about Regus?** If I had to say what I liked best, it would be how easy it was to get a space here - but then again, wouldn't it be if the sales reps deceived you? **What do you dislike about Regus?** The people, the hidden fees and the lack of customer service made this place unbareable. **Recommendations to others considering Regus:** Don't. **What problems is Regus solving and how is that benefiting you?** I got a small office at Regus. ### 2. Buyer beware: If you have a reserved space, it won't matter. They will sell your space to someone else if it's more convenient for them. They enforce the areas of the contract that help them, but will overlook the areas of the contract that will assist the consumer. They will never refund, even if they are in the wrong. **What do you like best about Regus?** The office space is nice. They are the most dishonest organization I have ever come across. They gave me incorrect information regarding my billing, and instead of owning the error they made, I was charged for something I did not want and did not agree to. Services were promised by sales agents and then reduced by the office team in the due course without any reduction of the fee. Environmental impact was used as an excuse to reduce further services (e.g. removing bins from offices). Complimentary meeting room that is part of the agreement was unavailable because they booked someone else in there. If you want to talk someone, you can never reach the person in charge / the manager. Nobody is responsible for anything - the local team says it is a global policy, the global team says it is a local policy. Fees are charged for services they don't provide - in COVID times we couldn't LEGALLY access the office and they charged the office restoration fee for an office which we weren't even able to use. Terrible fraud, poor services - don't do it!!! **Recommendations to others considering Regus:** DON'T work with them - you will be very unhappy **What problems is Regus solving and how is that benefiting you?** None, Regus is creating problems rather than solving ### 7. They then sent the attack dogs from the UK call centre demanding $50k arrears. Now they have engaged a NZ based debt collector. They are nothing but pricks and refuse to engage or acknowledge emails proving we cancelled. **Recommendations to others considering Regus:** Keep walking, do not use Regus in New Zealand under any circumstances, you will regret it. **What problems is Regus solving and how is that benefiting you?** they continue to chase debts that are not due and will not release deposits paid ### 8. REGUS... think twice... unless you want to pay out your a** **Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2021 **Describe the project or task Regus helped with:** Getting me an office space outside my home. **What do you like best about Regus?** The atmosphere is welcoming and clean and the staff is friendly. **What do you dislike about Regus?** After a six-month lease on an office of less than 150 square feet for $1200, they wanted to increase my rent to over $1800/month for a 12-month lease or over $1900 for a six-month lease. The increase was laughable, truly. I can rent an apartment (triple the size) in the same square block with a workout facility and pool for much cheaper (and have leftover money to spend on food and drinks each day). I also know that people who lease spaces with REGUS pay for carpet cleaning and wall painting when they move out... it took over THREE MONTHS to get my office completely painted after several requests. The carpet did get cleaned, but it was in such bad shape, they should have just replaced it. Communication with the "guy who closed the deal" STOPPED immediately after I signed the lease... like FULL-STOP. He no longer replied to texts or emails at all. He closed the deal and he was gone! He claims that the center manager should be taking all my requests (like the carpet and paint), but didn't seem to realize that those requests weren't working and that they couldn't answer questions about the new lease agreement. I LOVE THE SPACE, HANDS DOWN (despite the yucky carpet)... the views out the windows can't be beat. Ultimately, though, the price is not worth the space... who pays over $1800 for a small office space in Salt Lake? It's like a mortgage payment. I could swallow $1200, but a 50% increase is truly mind-boggling. **What problems is Regus solving and how is that benefiting you?** We aren't currently solving any problems... they told me that if I wasn't willing to negotiate the $1200/month, I'd be better off cancelling my lease. No offer to move offices, just cancel. Benefits I've realized? The office space and location are PRIME! BUT there are spaces in the same area that offer more for a decreased price. ### 9. Be aware of auto renew rules in the contract. They will not forgive you. Hi **What problems is Regus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Autorenew contract of a large amount per month that I was not intended to renew. They won't remóntate becuase I did not tell them before 90 days contract is over. I've missed the 90 day rules for 13 days and now I am stuck with monthly bills of $359 per month that I will not pay. Therefore, my credit will be affected. Their contract do not have an option to remove auto renew. Therefore, if you miss, they will be very unforgiving abou it. It is a trap. ### 10. The out dated office I can deal with. It's fine. It's a room to work in. Nothing grand. The on house staff are great. But the accounts team are useless. From the monthly late fees that I need to keep emailing to get reversed. To over charging me on my invoices and then crediting me. Only because I found the error. To a missing deposit that we've been waiting on for 8 months. To now suspending our office because they can't find the refund they owe us 🙄😂. Feels like it's ran by children, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this of Regus. Would not recommend. At all. Again. Wonderful in house staff. They have highlighted the importance of doing background research on a company before signing a lease. I wish I knew what a joke Regus was before I signed with them. Since they've been purchased by IWG, they have reduced my services, increased costs, and it is impossible to talk to anybody if you have an issue. Regus is the worst company in terms of ethics and customer service. **What do you dislike about Regus?** Regus has elevated dishonesty and bad faith to an art form. This a company that does not honor contracts and engages in fraudulent billing.
