**What do you like best about Radware Cloud WAF?**

I like the high accuracy behavioral engine of Radware Cloud WAF because it distinguishes between legitimate spikes and actual threats, significantly reducing false positives. I appreciate the AI-powered engine that automatically learns normal traffic patterns, allowing us to stay in blocking mode. It filters out noise effectively, reducing alert fatigue by accurately identifying L7 DDoS or low and slow attacks. One of the features I value the most is the proactive ERT support, which is a major added value for real-time mitigation during complex attacks. The ERT takes the lead on mitigation during these challenging situations, which minimizes downtime and eliminates the need to hire high-cost appsec specialists.

**What do you dislike about Radware Cloud WAF?**

1. The out-of-the-box reporting lacks a high-level executive dashboard feel. We often have to export data. 2. The behavioral engine is powerful, but the initial learning curve requires patience. 3. Some of the more advanced technical features or API integration steps could be better.

**What problems is Radware Cloud WAF solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Radware Cloud WAF for automated application defense, reducing false positives, and blocking bot attacks. Its AI engine learns traffic patterns, cutting alert fatigue, while ERT support handles complex attacks without extra staffing.

  ### 5. Solid Protection, But Support Could Be Better

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Radware Cloud WAF?**

It has helped me a lot in protecting myself from cyberattacks. Since I started using Radware Cloud WAF, the number of attacks per month has dropped significantly. It protects both APIs and websites from SQL injections, and it stands out for its performance and technical quality. The dashboard and the overall menu are very intuitive, so it’s easy to navigate and understand. I also like the reporting graphics, which make it simple to identify trends and pinpoint the sources of attacks. The initial setup was very quick, and once it was implemented, it remained straightforward to use and manage.

**What do you dislike about Radware Cloud WAF?**

Technical support could be improved. When we have a problem, we contact technical support, but often they don't have a good command of the language and it's difficult to understand each other and explain the situation and the problem .

**What problems is Radware Cloud WAF solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As part of our IT security team, we use Radware Cloud WAF to protect our public-facing websites and APIs from common web attacks. It helps us mitigate threats such as SQL injection, malicious bots, and other OWASP-related attacks.

A key benefit for me is the visibility it provides through the dashboard. I regularly review traffic reports and security events to spot suspicious activity and see which requests were blocked. This makes it easier to understand attack patterns and respond quickly whenever unusual traffic shows up.

Overall, Radware Cloud WAF has strengthened the security of our applications and reduced the number of successful attack attempts against our services.

  ### 6. Detailed control over web traffic and threats

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rose A. | Application Security Engineer, Security and Investigations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Radware Cloud WAF?**

The fact that Radware Cloud WAF provides such a great degree of control over application security policies is what I like most about it. I use it every day in our online business of retailing products to secure the checkout processes and the customer accounts. The number of features enables us to develop granular rules of various endpoints and user behaviors. Due to its usage frequency, it has become a fixed stack in our security stack. I also like the attack logs, which are detailed, and are useful during internal security analysis and audits.

**What do you dislike about Radware Cloud WAF?**

The reliance on the experienced staff is another problem. Some of the policy behaviors and log details cannot be comprehensible without advanced knowledge. The features are strong and may bewilder the less experienced analysts. The lack of knowledge may extend the response time due to its frequent use. This made us invest further in special training which made our process of dealing with our cybersecurity team more costly.

**What problems is Radware Cloud WAF solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is dealing with the current menace of web attacks against our public applications. Prior to the adoption, we had experienced frequent bot traffic and attempted injection attacks on our customer portal. Protection policies are now regular and organized with regular usage frequency. The list of features enables us to use layered defenses on APIs and login systems. This has minimized emergency security increases and enhanced confidence between IT and executive management.

  ### 7. Application layer defense that supports stable digital operations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olivier P. | Director of digital commerce systems, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Radware Cloud WAF?**

The most notable thing is that it builds up business continuity in the face of huge sales campaigns. The quantity of features devoted to the DDoS mitigation and the protection of the applications is an important factor in maintaining our storefront on its feet. Consistency in frequency of use is given the fact that I cross check security posture prior to launch of every campaign. This needed to be implemented in conjunction with our hosting provider, but after it was successful, it resulted in a better environment that ensures revenue and brand reputation.

**What do you dislike about Radware Cloud WAF?**

One of the weaknesses is that fining tuning security policies may create false positives and end up blocking legitimate customers in the short run. Since the frequency of use is high, I frequently go through flagged sessions to prevent loss of sales. In the process of implementation, specification of exact traffic rules necessitated additional validation. Although the features are impressive, navigating the sophisticated levels of security may require extra internal knowledge and this puts extra work load on our IT team during the peak season of business.

**What problems is Radware Cloud WAF solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The current issue of automated attacks on the login, checkout, and promotional pages is solved by Radware Cloud WAF. Fake transactions and credential stuffing made it lose money and customer complaints prior to its adoption. Through heavy enforcement and daily usage, we are now early finding fraud. Related to the many features that concentrate on bot control and application protection secure revenue and enable my team to work on expansion strategies rather than handle security events.

  ### 8. Radware Cloud WAF Makes AppSec Proactive Without the Weekend Manual Tuning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivan M. | Ingeniero Especialidado de Servicios de Seguridad Sr. , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Radware Cloud WAF?**

As an administrator who has spent plenty of time in the trenches of application security, I can tell you that what I like best about Radware Cloud WAF isn't just one flashy feature—it’s the shift from being "reactive" to "proactive" without losing my weekends to manual tuning. Beside I like Behavioral-Based Bot Management and ease of implementation

**What do you dislike about Radware Cloud WAF?**

I have to be honest: there are definitely parts of the platform that can be a headache. If you’re coming from a more "modern-feeling" SaaS like Cloudflare or Akamai, some of these friction points will be immediately apparent.

what I dislike about Radware Cloud WAF is: The "Frankenstein" UI & Workflow, The "Black Box" Backend and Reporting & Logging Granularity

**What problems is Radware Cloud WAF solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems Radware Cloud WAF solves usually boil down to resource constraints and the evolving complexity of attacks. In a modern environment, we aren't just fighting simple SQL injections anymore; we’re fighting sophisticated bots and zero-day vulnerabilities that appear before we can patch the code.

  ### 9. Effective Protection and Intuitive Management, But Licensing Model Could Be Improved

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pere C. | Administrador de sistemas, Telecommunications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Radware Cloud WAF?**

I really like the intuitive and easy-to-manage interface of Radware Cloud WAF. The protection is truly effective, as since we put it into production, it began to automatically block a large amount of malicious traffic, giving us immediate visibility of the attacks. Additionally, I would highlight the visibility it offers on attack events and patterns, which allows us to analyze the traffic in detail and react quickly. It is also easy to adjust the policies without affecting the service in production.

**What do you dislike about Radware Cloud WAF?**

Mainly the licensing model and the cost, as some advanced functionalities require hiring additional modules. It would be interesting if more capabilities were included natively to have greater flexibility. Additionally, a more flexible and transparent licensing model would help better plan growth.

**What problems is Radware Cloud WAF solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Radware Cloud WAF to protect our web pages from attacks and malicious traffic, improving availability. The interface is intuitive and easy to manage. It offers visibility into attacks, allowing for detailed traffic analysis and policy adjustment without interrupting services.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antonino S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Radware Cloud WAF?**

I appreciate that with Radware Cloud WAF, we can now see security events and query them, which was not possible before. I like that it makes it quite simple to create a rule to allow or block something. The rule creation process is beneficial because it's guided from an event and precompiles the rule fields for you to save as they are or customize. The initial setup was quite easy, and you get supported by their team.

**What do you dislike about Radware Cloud WAF?**

I would add a 'Security events' section underneath the 'Assets' view, to see security events for the specific application. You can do so by filtering the generic one, but this would be simpler if you already know what you're looking for.

**What problems is Radware Cloud WAF solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Radware Cloud WAF, I can see and query security events, providing more control compared to AWS WAF v2. The rule creation process is simple, guided from an event and precompiling fields for adjustments.

  ### 11. Intuitive Interface, Effective Protection

What I don't like is the high cost of the solution, but in terms of operation and use, it's one of the best for me as a customer.

**What problems is Radware Cloud WAF solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, we have our Core System and other internal applications exposed, but without any security layer. The purpose of the purchase was to implement the WAF as that security layer for the published applications.

  ### 13. Robust Security, Needs UI Improvements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jitendra Kumar P. | Team Lead Cyber Security, Utilities, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Radware Cloud WAF?**

I find Radware Cloud WAF to be a very reliable and suitable solution for mid to large range organizations. It strictly follows automated pattern-driven tools to track traffic and DDoS traffic. The solution uses OWASP top 10 risk patterns to avoid meticulous maximum possible mitigations from the upper layer of the OSI reference model. It's beneficial for supporting a data center's traffic patterns. I like that it allows for manual traffic design, so you can control how traffic exits and re-enters your hosting server behind the WAF. This is crucial.

**What do you dislike about Radware Cloud WAF?**

I find the dashboard could be more intuitive and user-friendly because it's somehow too complicated for new users, with too many hidden options. Some advanced features also have a learning curve, and it can be challenging to understand the impact on production traffic, since the WAF sits inline. Integration with DevOps is also critical and not as easy as I would like. Additionally, the reporting part needs to be simplified to be more understandable for other members.

**What problems is Radware Cloud WAF solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Radware Cloud WAF for DDoS protection, zero-day attack prevention, reliable reverse proxy with hardware support, and automated signature pattern detection. It stabilizes our infrastructure and provides real-time traffic visibility, which is crucial for managing customer interactions.

  ### 14. Radware Cloud WAF: flexible, reliable and certified protection for regulated environments

  ### 19. Adaptive ML Protection with 24/7 SOC Support in One Cloud Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Radware Cloud WAF?**

From a customer perspective, the behavioral-based detection and machine learning capabilities make a clear, noticeable difference. The platform adapts to our application traffic patterns, which has significantly reduced false positives compared with the more static, rule-heavy WAF solutions we’ve used in the past. As a result, we spend less time tuning policies and more time focusing on strategic security initiatives.

Another major advantage is the fully managed service model. The 24/7 SOC support and proactive monitoring give us confidence that threats are being addressed in real time, even outside of business hours. That level of responsiveness is critical for protecting customer-facing applications.

We also appreciate the integrated approach. Having WAF, API protection, bot mitigation, and L7 DDoS protection consolidated into a single cloud platform simplifies our architecture and vendor management. It has improved visibility and reduced complexity across our security stack.

Overall, Radware Cloud WAF delivers effective protection with strong operational efficiency, which is exactly what we were looking for.

**What do you dislike about Radware Cloud WAF?**

One challenge is the platform’s learning curve and overall complexity. Configuring fine-tuned policies and fully understanding the feature set takes time and expertise. For teams without dedicated WAF specialists, getting the most out of advanced controls (such as customized behavioral policies or bot-mitigation tuning) can be resource-intensive.

Another concern is visibility and the reporting experience. While Radware provides robust telemetry, some users find the dashboards and analytics less intuitive and harder to tailor to business-specific reporting needs than competing tools with more user-friendly UIs. As a result, incident analysis and executive reporting can take longer than expected.

A third point is alert volume and the tuning overhead early in deployment. Even though machine learning can reduce false positives over time, the initial tuning phase may generate a high number of alerts that still require manual review, which can be burdensome for lean teams.

Finally, because this is a managed cloud service, there is less direct control over the underlying infrastructure and rule engines than with self-hosted or appliance-based options. For customers who want tight control over every aspect of policy deployment and performance optimization, this service model may feel somewhat restrictive.

**What problems is Radware Cloud WAF solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of Use:
The platform delivers comprehensive protection, but the interface can feel complex at first. If you’re already familiar with web application security concepts, it’s manageable. For less experienced users, some menus and options take time to understand and navigate confidently. Usability improves noticeably once you’ve spent time in the platform, but it isn’t immediately intuitive.

Ease of Implementation:
Implementation was straightforward for the basics, such as pointing DNS and enabling protection. That said, fine-tuning policies to match our application’s normal behavior took more effort than we initially expected. The initial setup phase also ran longer than planned because we focused on minimizing false positives.

Customer Support:
Radware’s customer support and managed service responsiveness have been strong. The 24/7 support model, along with proactive monitoring, helps ensure issues are addressed quickly. When we had questions about specific attack types or needed policy recommendations, their team provided timely, practical guidance.

Frequency of Use:
We use the platform regularly, mainly to review alerts, adjust policies, and check reports. Our security team accesses the dashboard daily, and the alerting cadence has become more reasonable as the system has adapted to our traffic patterns.

Number of Features:
Radware Cloud WAF includes a broad feature set, including core WAF protections, API security, bot mitigation, L7 DDoS protection, and behavioral analytics. The overall feature list is extensive and aligns well with enterprise security requirements. Some of the more advanced capabilities, such as detailed behavioral policies, become especially valuable once you understand how to use them.

Ease of Integration:
Integration with our DNS, SIEM, and monitoring stack has been solid. We did need to adjust some internal workflows to fit Radware’s event formats, but the available APIs and documentation made that workable. Overall, we didn’t run into any major blockers during integration.

Problems It Is Solving and the Benefit:
Radware Cloud WAF addresses several key challenges for us. It blocks application-layer attacks (e.g., OWASP Top 10) in real time, which reduces risk without requiring constant manual intervention. Its behavioral learning and adaptive policies help reduce false positives over time, increasing confidence in alerts and cutting down on noisy events. The managed service model also means expert support is monitoring and tuning in the background, which reduces the operational burden on our internal team. In addition, the integrated bot mitigation and API security help protect against automated abuse and API-targeted threats that our legacy tools didn’t handle well.

Overall, the solution strengthens our security posture, reduces manual workload, and improves visibility into application threats that we previously lacked. There is a learning curve and some complexity in policy management, but for us the operational and security benefits outweigh those challenges.

**What do you like best about Radware Cloud WAF?**

What I like most about Radware Cloud WAF is its real-time threat detection and mitigation capabilities. The platform offers exceptional multi-layered protection that combines behavioral analysis, machine learning, and predefined security rules to detect both known attacks and zero-day threats.

I also highly value the security policy customization capabilities, allowing rules to be adjusted according to each application's specific needs. The technical support is responsive and knowledgeable, which is crucial when facing critical security incidents.

**What do you dislike about Radware Cloud WAF?**

The main drawback I've encountered is the cost, especially for smaller organizations or those with limited budgets. Pricing can become considerable when scaling to multiple applications or requiring advanced functionalities.
Occasionally, the default security rules can be too strict and generate false positives, which requires additional time to fine-tune configurations. While the documentation is comprehensive, the learning curve to leverage all advanced features can be steep.
I've also noticed that some policy updates can take longer than expected to fully propagate, which can be problematic in situations requiring immediate security configuration changes.

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Radware Cloud WAF?**

Honestly, the biggest win with Radware Cloud WAF is how incredibly comprehensive its protection is. It's not just checking off the boxes for the OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities (which it does, beautifully, against things like SQL injection and cross-site scripting), but it also feels like it's always a step ahead with zero-day protection. That's a huge peace of mind.

**What do you dislike about Radware Cloud WAF?**

First off, the initial setup and fine-tuning can be a beast. While the automation is great after it's configured, getting there, especially for complex or highly customized applications, can feel like climbing a steep mountain. It requires a pretty deep understanding, and creating those custom rules isn't always straightforward.

**What problems is Radware Cloud WAF solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From my perspective, Radware Cloud WAF really helps us tackle some major security headaches. Primarily, it solves the big problem of keeping our web applications safe from all sorts of online attacks. I'm talking about everything from common vulnerabilities like SQL injection and cross-site scripting (the OWASP Top 10 stuff) to those nasty, unpredictable "zero-day" attacks. It also does a fantastic job of managing unwanted bot traffic and fending off crippling DDoS attacks that could otherwise bring our services down.
The biggest benefits I've seen are the advanced, automated protection it provides, which honestly saves us a ton of manual work. Plus, having their excellent managed support is a huge relief; it means we're not constantly on high alert. In short, it helps us ensure our web applications are secure and reliable, letting our team focus on more strategic tasks instead of constantly battling cyber threats

**What do you like best about Radware Cloud WAF?**

What I like best about Radware Cloud WAF is its precision. In a landscape where threats evolve faster than policies, Radware’s rule engine stands out for its granular control and customizability. Whether it’s defending against advanced bot attacks or fine-tuning API security, the platform offers a level of depth that’s rare in cloud-native WAF solutions.
Its support for non-standard ports, recursive DNS, and SIEM/SOAR integrations makes it a versatile fit for complex enterprise environments like ours.

**What do you dislike about Radware Cloud WAF?**

While Radware Cloud WAF offers robust protection against DDoS and other web-based threats, there are several areas where the solution falls short:

Complex Initial Setup and Integration
The onboarding process is not as seamless as expected. Integrating Radware Cloud WAF with existing infrastructure often requires significant configuration and troubleshooting, which can be time-consuming and resource-intensive

Limited Reporting Capabilities
The reporting interface lacks intuitive depth, making it difficult to perform quick and proactive threat analysis. Users have noted that the dashboards and analytics tools could be more user-friendly and customizable

Frequent Maintenance and Incidents
There have been multiple maintenance updates and incident notifications affecting the Asia Pacific (Chennai) and Global Cloud Portal components. These disruptions, while resolved, highlight potential reliability concerns in high-availability environments

**What problems is Radware Cloud WAF solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Protection Across All HTTP Ports
Unlike Akamai, which only secures standard HTTPS ports (80 and 443), Radware Cloud WAF supports non-standard HTTP ports, making it essential for protecting a broader range of applications

API Security and Discovery
Radware offers API protection and discovery, which is critical given the increasing reliance on APIs in modern web services. This helps identify and secure exposed endpoints that could be exploited

DDoS Defense
It includes application-layer DDoS protection, helping mitigate traffic floods and ensuring uptime even during attack scenarios

Real-Time Threat Monitoring
Radware enables live data analysis and threat visibility, which enhances your ability to respond quickly to emerging threats

  ### 48. Easy to use and understand WAF for beginners on WAF

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Radware Cloud WAF?**

Integrating the WAF on the Traffic flow was easy as the ability to bypass WAF controls and point the traffic to origin was a good option.
On boarding the Application on WAF is easy and quick as compared to other WAF Portals. Lots of security controls in place which are updated automatically and periodically by the Radware. We do use portal on day to day basis as we have many application point on it.

**What do you dislike about Radware Cloud WAF?**

Lack of Log Views, You will not get any logs for pass through traffic on the WAF. As the security controls are many on the portal, getting full information on the block is difficult and have to raise case with the support team.

**What problems is Radware Cloud WAF solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The major CVE's which are detected and attackers try to check for the same on the application, using Radware Cloud WAF we are protected for most of the Major CVE's. Also after using this, we have seen significant reduction on the Internet bandwidth utilization.

  ### 50. Radware WAF Cloud: A Web Application Security Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Commercial Real Estate | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Radware Cloud WAF?**

Radware WAF is a strong performer when it comes to securing web applications. It offers solid protection against OWASP Top 10 and zero-day threats, and supports bot mitigation, API security, and flexible deployment models. The platform is easy to manage, integrates well with SIEM and SOAR tools, and meets high availability SLAs. Its centralized reporting and real-time alerting make it a reliable choice for infrastructure teams looking for visibility and control. Just note that it supports only TCP ports, which can be a limitation for certain use cases

**What do you dislike about Radware Cloud WAF?**

While Radware WAF is solid for securing web apps, there are a few things that could be better. It doesn’t support UDP traffic, which limits onboarding for certain real-time applications

**What problems is Radware Cloud WAF solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We faced a major integration problem with SIEM where RadWare helped with Logstash integration. Also was a great help in implementing SSO.
