## QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise Reviews
 ### 1. Reliable Accounting with Room for Mobile Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark H. | Estimator/PM, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2023

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

I mostly like the ease of use of QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. There is a bit of a learning curve, but once familiar, it is an easy program to use. Being able to run reports for entire jobs was extremely helpful. You can see where expenses are going and move them if needed.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

There wasn't much of a mobile app for the Desktop Enterprise, which makes sense, but if there was some way to utilize it while in the field, it would be great. I'd like all the standard functions from the desktop version on a mobile device.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise helps me track, predict, and manage expenses all in one place. Running reports for entire jobs is extremely helpful to see where expenses are going and adjust them if needed.

 ### 2. Streamlined Accounting with Robust Connectivity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David O. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

I think QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is pretty easy to use, which is very helpful for my company, especially since we have several junior accountants. It's nice knowing that we can usually figure out a fix on our own because there's the largest knowledge base out there, filled with solutions from many users. We don't have to call our CPA for advice every time we get stuck. It's also a lot better in terms of connecting directly with our payroll and payment processors and other data inputs we need for accounting, so we don't have to manually input data entries.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

I mean, there's definitely advantages to having a cloud based offering. I think for us right now, the desktop experience outweighs the cost of having the full cloud offering. But you do have to do some more manual work in terms of backing up your data. There was a little bit of a bait and switch, I think, in terms of how QuickBooks sold us and how easy the onboarding would be and how helpful they would be. But, ultimately, we did figure it out largely on our own.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise improves connectivity with payroll and payment processors, reducing manual data entry.

 ### 3. Extensive, Customizable Accounting Made Easy with QuickBooks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel A. | Construction Project Manager, Construction, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

QuickBooks, in general, is one of the most extensive and complete accounting software options available on the market today. What I like about QuickBooks is that it gives you the ability to handle accounting tasks without actually being an accountant. The level of customization and the wide range of features make QuickBooks an especially helpful tool for any company, and particularly for business owners.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

Because QuickBooks has such an extensive range of features, the thing I like least is the learning curve required to use it to its full potential. There are so many different aspects and tools within QuickBooks that it takes time, patience, and dedication to really learn how to navigate everything effectively.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When you’re running a business or working for a small company that doesn’t have the funds or ability to hire a full-time accountant, QuickBooks makes it possible to handle many of the tasks an accountant would normally take care of. That’s been a real benefit for me because it frees up time and lets me focus on other aspects of the company or small business.

 ### 4. Handles Complexity with Powerful Inventory Tracking and Custom Reports

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** gagan p. | Security Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

Honestly, what I love most about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is how it just handles complexity without making you feel it. The advanced inventory tracking is a lifesaver for businesses juggling multiple locations or warehouses, and the customizable reporting actually gives you numbers that mean something to your business — not just generic templates.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

the pricing is probably the biggest pain point. It's a significant investment, especially for smaller businesses that don't necessarily need all the enterprise-level features — it can feel like you're paying for a lot you'll never use.
The interface also feels a bit stuck in time. It gets the job done, but compared to modern cloud-based tools, it looks and feels dated. Navigating some of the deeper features can be clunky, and the learning curve for new users is steeper than it should be in 2025.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem it solves for us is keeping everything in one place. Before, we were juggling spreadsheets, separate inventory tools, and manual reporting — it was messy and way too easy to make errors. Enterprise pulls all of that together, which alone has saved us a ton of time and headaches.

 ### 5. Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise - Simple, Reliable Accounting Software

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

What I like most about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is how straightforward and user-friendly it feels. It’s easy to learn and simple to navigate, so new users can get up to speed quickly without needing extensive training. We’re able to handle invoicing, reporting, and everyday accounting efficiently, without adding unnecessary complexity.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

We use the inventory management system mainly for serialized items, and one ongoing issue for us is the maximum character limit on serial numbers. This becomes a problem for items we keep a lot of stock of, especially when they have long serial numbers that don’t fit within the current limit.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solves the need for a centralized and reliable accounting system to manage invoicing, payments, reporting, and financial tracking. It helps keep our day-to-day accounting organized and accurate, while making it easy to pull the reports we need for decision-making. The biggest benefit is efficiency—our team can complete tasks quickly, stay on top of customer accounts, and reduce errors because the system is straightforward and easy to use.

 ### 6. Efficient and User-Friendly for Bookkeepers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pam C. | OFFICE MANAGER, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

I love the inventory portion and the invoicing features of QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. I've only been using it for about three years, but I find it easy, simple, and very efficient. It makes my life easier and more efficient. The invoicing is probably the most used item, and because it's linked to an inventory, it makes it easier for us to keep track of inventory, to reorder, and the invoicing takes care of all of that at the same time. So it's pretty efficient.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

Sometimes I have issues or difficulties with things that were in the past year and need fixing this year. It might be that I just need to learn more, but that seems to be my biggest issue. Also, the initial setup was quite challenging when transitioning from the old system to QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise, especially transferring over a full year and getting it to balance. It would have been nice if I could have linked the two systems for a smoother transfer.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise makes bookkeeping easy, simple, and efficient. Its inventory and invoicing features are linked, streamlining inventory tracking and reordering tasks.

 ### 7. Powerful, Reliable Accounting with an Intuitive Interface for Growing Businesses

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ajay S. | Senior System Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise stands out as a powerful, reliable accounting solution, especially for growing business that need more capability than standard QuickBooks versions.
Although enterprise has a rich feature set, the interface remains intuitive for users familiar with QuickBooks. Tasks like invoicing, reporting and inventory tracking are straightforward, with clear menus and logical workflows.
Implementation is generally smooth, especially for teams that already use QuickBooks products. Data migration tools and setup wizards help onboard financials, customers and inventory without being overly technical.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

QuickBooks desktop enterprise tends to be significantly more expensive than other QuickBooks products and many cloud alternatives.
Because its a desktop application, Enterprise doesn't offer the same seamless accessibility as cloud native tools.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enterprise brings all core accounting functions into a single, unified system, including- Accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation, payroll.
Enterprise includes customizable reports, data filtering by department, location, project. Forecasting and budgeting tools.

 ### 8. Robust, Scalable Inventory Management with Role-Based Permissions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meredith T. | Political & Tax Staff, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

Supports a large number of users. More robust inventory management than other QB versions. Allows role-based permissions and restrictions. Integrates with other Intuit services and third-party apps. Priority customer support.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

Limited to Windows systems. Requires a lot of processing resources and frequent updates. Intuit is consistently and frequently raising the prices, and some attractive features require addtional fee.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps prevent a loss of financial visibility as the business grows by centralizing AR, AP, inventory, and jobs in a single application. Role-based permissions also allow the team to work together without compromising internal controls.

 ### 9. Robust ERP, But Everything Else Falls Short

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler S. | Chief Executive Officer, Accounting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

QB Desktop is a robust ERP solution. That's about the only positive.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

Everything! First, it was so difficult to move and share my data. We had to maintain one computer dedicated to housing our accounting, which means all of our team has to switch off utilizing it. Secondly, because it's not in the cloud, its ability to integrate with other solutions we utilized was nonexistent. I would recommend several other cloud-based ERP solutions before ever suggesting QB Desktop. Lastly, and most importantly to me, when I needed help from customer support, I couldn't get it. Or I had to sit in a long queue. So we switched to a different solution.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's not solving anything. My team has to have hours of training in accounting just to navigate, let alone actually complete any tasks.

 ### 10. Intuitive and Efficient, but Needs Better Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** German R. | Accounts Receivable Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

I feel QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is very intuitive, dynamic, and pretty easy to use. It's user-friendly, and I like how easy it is to post payments. Compared to other ERP systems where I had to go through multiple tabs to get an invoice, QuickBooks makes it feel like I'm not wasting time. Also, the initial setup was pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

I'm going to say that, the customization on the different screens. Yeah, being able to add more fields to show, or to remove fields. But in depth, not just the basic ones.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise for invoicing, customer aging, and posting payments. It streamlines the process with fewer steps compared to other ERPs, saving me time and effort.

 ### 11. Effortless Accounting with Robust Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** CA Pankaj A. | Head of Finance and Accounting, Automotive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

I find QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise very easy to use, which makes managing accounting tasks straightforward. It's very easy to see customer and supplier overviews, and there are a lot of standard reports like trial balance, management reporting, and periodic reports that are very helpful for quick management reporting. I also really like the nice dashboard. These features helped me in reducing my time for management reporting.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

If QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise can add some shortcut key like SAP, or transaction codes which we can execute, it will be very useful.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solves our accounting problem and is very easy to use. It simplifies customer and supplier overviews and offers helpful standard reports. It reduces the time needed for management reporting.

 ### 12. Tailored for US Enterprise Inventory Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Murad D.

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

I like QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise for its enterprise-grade, US retail/wholesale tailored inventory accounting, which is its biggest strength. The advanced inventory module is the single most valuable feature for my inventory-heavy business, and it’s the primary reason I chose it over QuickBooks Online or generic accounting software. It’s explicitly built for US multi-location, multi-channel retail/wholesale workflows and handles the scale of over 100k SKUs and millions of annual inventory transactions. It remains fully compliant with US GAAP and IRS inventory valuation rules. I also find the initial setup to be structured and robust, tailored for US mid-to-enterprise inventory-heavy businesses.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

The native integration with my core e-commerce platform (CommerceV3) has sync delays (up to 24 hours) for US online sales/inventory data—critical during peak US sales seasons; integrating QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise with Tableau requires a custom API build (expensive and time-consuming) with no pre-built connector; and there’s no native integration with US email marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo) to sync customer purchase/inventory data for targeted US regional campaigns (e.g., a Florida “out-of-stock” alert for a popular SKU). Third-party middleware also adds cost and latency—Zapier Premium for QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise integrations costs an extra $200+/month, and syncs still have 1–2 hour delays.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise to eliminate inaccurate, siloed inventory accounting, and solve multi-state sales tax compliance for my US retail and warehouse operations.

 ### 13. HR Manager

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hollie P. | Human Resource Manager, Human Resources, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

QB Desktop Enterprise works well for our clients and the way we manage jobs, especially since everything has to be entered in a specific format.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

I dislike that I can not pull up a job and enter several employees at one time and QB break it out for each employee.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise helps with the breakdown of jobs in the format that we need.

 ### 14. Solid for Growing Businesses, But It Comes at a Cost. Great for non-profits.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evan W. | Sysadmin/Operations, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

The inventory management is really nice, being able to track and add price ruling makes it way easier than tracking with excel documents. It was also quite easy to learn and utilize quickly. Implementing updates was very quick and error free. I appreicate the features it contains like the user permissions, being able to have multiple users on the same database at once.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

It's expensive. Espeically if you need to add users, payroll plans or cloud hosting. Keeping it local is highly recommended as the cloud features are limited and the interface is older.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves most our main headaches from when we were outgrowing quickbooks premier, this helps with a growing operation. Now we can track inventory turnover properly and manage complex nonprofit pricing. It's likely saving us hours every month on manual work and bad data.

 ### 15. Keeps Years of Accounting Data in One Place—Works Exactly as Needed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristin F. | Business Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

I work for an accounting firm that has been around for many years and Enterprise allows me to keeps all of this information on one software without having to delete any of it.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

I have no complaints. It has worked just as I need it to.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had QB Desktop Premier and it wasn't able to contain all of the information that QB Desktop Enterprise can.

 ### 16. Advanced, Customizable Reporting with Helpful Payroll and 7-Day Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Loretta S. | Claims Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

The advanced features, along with detailed, customer-focused reporting, are a big plus. I also like having a direct line by phone and chat, with availability seven days a week. The Gold plan includes payroll, which is helpful. Overall, it’s customizable, easy to use, and it also includes tracking capabilities.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

Annual subscriptions feel expensive. The desktop version only works on the Windows operating system, which limits flexibility. Overall, it may be too complex for smaller businesses.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has really helped us manage invoicing and payroll. It’s also been beneficial for tracking our vendors and customers, thanks to its on-site and cloud-based availability.

 ### 17. Desktop Enterprise Keeps Purchases Organized and Our Accountant Happy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

The Desktop Enterprise version works well for our small business. It allows us to track all of our business purchases and receipts with any number of account codes so we can track how our business is doing. And the Desktop version keeps our accountant happy.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

It can be a bit slow at times and took a little bit of work to create an environment to allow remote users to access the software.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The software is utilized as our primary accounting software. We track everything money related inside QuickBooks. We do us a separate software for our payroll (Paylocity), but Paylocity runs a nice import file each week that works perfectly with QuickBooks to make that piece super easy.

 ### 18. User-Friendly and Efficient for Invoicing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

I find QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise pretty good to work with and easy to learn. I like how it helps me group things together while still keeping items that need to be separate clearly separated, which helps everything run smoothly. The setup was straightforward too—I just updated it and kept going. Its worth every penny and great pricing. Support is also great and very helpful. I also like how you can run into some problems and you can quick chat with AI and get a resolution fast

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

Sometimes it freezes up but not enough to cause problems.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise for invoicing and inventory, keeping everything in order. It groups and separates things efficiently, ensuring smooth operations. if you can work on the Integration part to connect to manager plus software the would be great.

 ### 19. Reliable and detailed accounting solution that scales well with growing operations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miguel R. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

The best thing about QuickBooks Enterprise is how it keeps everything organized, from equipment sales to service subscriptions, without needing external spreadsheets or manual reconciliation. The level of control it gives us over reports, user permissions, and integrations is impressive. We can easily track sales from our Cuidado24 devices, manage supplier payments, and generate monthly statements for management or audits

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

The desktop interface feels a bit dated compared to some modern SaaS tools, and the setup process for remote users can be tricky. Updates sometimes require IT assistance, which slows things down slightly

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using it, we were juggling several disconnected tools to handle invoices, payroll, and reports. Now everything is centralized, which saves time and minimizes accounting errors. For a telecare company like ours, with thousands of recurring service payments, it’s crucial to have accuracy and compliance. It’s also simplified our annual reporting and made financial forecasting much more reliable.

 ### 20. Reliable accounting software that keeps our telecare operations organized and compliant

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rui R. | CSO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

What I like most is the stability and control it gives us over our accounting and reporting. In a business like ours, selling telecare devices and subscription services, we need precise control of invoices, recurring payments, and VAT reports. QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise handles these tasks very efficiently. The multi-user access also allows our finance and operations teams to work together without conflicts

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

The main downside is the initial setup and learning curve. It takes time to configure the chart of accounts, especially when working with both hardware sales and service subscriptions. The interface can feel a bit dated compared to cloud systems, but once everything is set up, it runs smoothly

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us keep our accounting accurate and compliant across multiple product categories and customer types. Before QuickBooks, tracking device sales, service subscriptions, and maintenance costs separately was messy. Now we have clear visibility over revenue, expenses, and cash flow, which makes decision-making much faster. It also simplifies audits and end-of-year reporting for our Portuguese operations

 ### 21. Efficient and Easy Accounting for Small Businesses

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joanne Y. | Office Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

It is very efficient for small businesses. Entry of expenses and deposits are easy. Setting up the Chart of Accounts is quick. Adding any specifics are rather easy.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

Pop up advertisings are annoying and for someone like me that types fast, it distracts from my efficiency.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reporting is much easier as long as the setup is accurate.

 ### 22. Easy, Streamlined Payroll for Smaller Companies

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

Easy and streamlined payroll for smaller companies

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

While the payroll is simple, it can require a lot of manual updates and entries. It does not integrate with Dayforce timesheets. When you call support, it can take a few hours for a resolution.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been a very reliable system, and the tax form generation and e-payments option is a lifesaver! The pre-populated tax forms and payments definitely save me time and money and are well worth the price.

 ### 23. Clear Accounting Reporting, But GL Customization and Journal Entries Are Cumbersome

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jackie M. | Staff Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

The accounting-level reporting is clear and easy to understand. It reflects the raw accounting and shows how transactions are booked and how they move from one GL to another.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

Customizing the general ledger is difficult to manage within a budget. Booking journal entries can also be a hassle, especially when I need to post itemized amounts under a single account.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves tracking transactions

 ### 24. Reliable accounting system that keeps our telecare business running smoothly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** João S. | IT, Telecommunications, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

The best part is how organized everything becomes once you set it up properly. We can easily track our equipment sales, monthly service subscriptions, and partner commissions in one place. The multi-user access is also a big plus since our finance and operations teams can work simultaneously without conflicts

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

The interface still feels a bit outdated compared to newer cloud tools. It takes some time for new staff to get familiar with all the menus and reports

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has centralized all our accounting, payroll, and sales tracking into one platform. Before QuickBooks, we used multiple spreadsheets and smaller tools, which caused delays and errors. Now we can generate accurate financial reports for each business line (like equipment vs. subscriptions) and make faster decisions. It has also helped us maintain compliance with Portuguese accounting standards

 ### 25. QuickBooks Enterprise Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** denae c. | Office Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

QuickBooks Enterprise is a powerful accounting software designed for growing businesses that need more advanced tools than QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop Pro. It offers strong features like customizable reporting, advanced inventory tracking, user permissions, and the ability to handle large amounts of data without slowing down.

What I like most is how scalable it is—you can add users as your business grows, and it allows different levels of access, so team members only see what they need to. The reporting features are also very detailed and can be customized to fit unique business needs.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily K. | Accounts Receivable and Financial Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

Quickbook Desktop Enterprise is super efficient and easy to use. I use it for monthly balancing, daily invoicing and so much more. We use Invoiced for billing and the sync is super quick and easy to use.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathalie M. | Tax Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

It's a very powerful tool to keep track of a company's assets and finances, the software produces a clean set of financial statements, and it allows users to transfer or send files to their accountant

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

The subscription is expensive, there is a risk of losing control if any user can access the software - it can be manipulated, sometimes there is a lack of industry specific features especially for non-profit organizations as it's designed for general accounting. The most critical disadvantage however is that the integration with other systems can be poor

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It does produce a variety of good reports

 ### 36. Affordable, High-Quality Software That Covers Everything SMBs Need

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

It is an affordable high quality software that offers everything a small to medium sized company needs. From inventory, to salary accounting.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

There is little that is missing and it offers everything. It is for certain special industries maybe not the best tool but in general offers everything.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A one-in-all accounting software that keeps costs down in comparison to larger and more difficult softwares.

 ### 37. Handles Large Data but Needs Better Remote Access

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayur G. | Senior Financial , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

I like that QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise handles large data files and supports up to 40 users simultaneously while keeping the familiar interface. The initial setup is generally straightforward, though it does require more planning than the smaller QuickBooks version, as it's built for larger, more complex businesses.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

I dislike that QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is still primarily desktop-based. Also, for remote teams, there often needs to be workarounds like hosting services to access files, which adds cost and complexity.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise handles large data files and supports up to 40 users, solving performance issues we faced with smaller data sets and fewer users.

 ### 38. Intuitive Purchasing–AP Integration That Streamlines Receiving and Inventory

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lori J. | Business Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

very intuitive. the integration between purchasing and accounts payable especially help with our receiving and inventory process.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

We also use DTools estimating software and the compatibility between the two is not the best

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we are now receiving many payments from customers and refunds from vendors via ACH and the memo notations are very helpful when I reconcile bank accounts

 ### 39. Great Finance Management for Small Businesses

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandi T. | Human Resources Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

I like the reconcilation features and the financial reporting features. It truly is a one stop for company finance management.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

It is no longer being supported, and QuickBooks is transitioning everything to online, which I personally do not find ideal. I have concerns about the cybersecurity of financial information. While QuickBooks serves well as an all-in-one product, the sheer amount of data stored and the sensitivity of that information make confidentiality a significant concern.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mentioned previously, this is truly an ideal one-stop solution. It allows you to manage all your company's financial data, bank reconciliations, payroll, tax payments, vendor payments, and customer invoicing. Set up and used properly it is ideal for a small / medium business. The ablity to share data with your accountant or tax professional is also a wonderful feature.

 ### 40. Comprehensive Accounting Solution with Robust Reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

This system is extremely comprehensive and meets all of our accounting needs. We rely on it daily for tasks such as paying vendors and invoicing customers. I also appreciate the wide variety of reports it offers.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

The customer service leaves room for improvement. Since experiencing changes in leadership, we have struggled to update certain features to reflect the new team members. Despite multiple attempts, the process has proven to be too much of a hassle, so we have ended up leaving things as they are.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QB is integrated with our ERP system, and for the most part, the communication between the two is very smooth. This integration ensures that accurate data related to costs and accounting is easily accessible to our field staff.

 ### 41. Legacy You Can Regret

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** larissa z. | CFO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

Nothing. Honestly everything about QuickBooks Enterprise is frankly garbage. QuickBooks was once the go to accounting software as you could use it for every business but now its impossible to use without an outside software to do any type of job costing (unless you have the accountant version).

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

Again everything about QuickBooks desktop is garbage. The Upload and Review bills feature doesn't work for credit memos. You can only Job cost your payroll but not your payroll burdens. Vendor credits don't appear in the bill pay screen so you have to watch for those. Getting any type of support from QuickBooks is a nightmare as Enterprise will tell you its a Time issue and Time will tell you its a payroll online issue. Be ready to send at least an hour on the phone with support. Seriously I've never been on the phone with support for less then an hour.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It hasnt solved any issues. It actually creates more issues if we are being honest.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

Quickbooks is an industry standard software. It allows for easy tracking of receivables and expenses as well as P&L reporting. By using Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise, this has allowed us to easily and effectively transition between accounting firms as it has become necessary.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

Although licenses can be expensive, we believe they are justified by the value provided. However, with the Desktop version, we frequently need to perform manual troubleshooting whenever our accountant encounters access issues.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickbooks makes it easy for us to handle both our daily and year-end accounting tasks. Although we have only been in practice for a short time, we have already had to switch from using accounting firms, and Quickbooks has made this transition nearly effortless.

It was very user-friendly. I used it as an accountant for recording transactions, and the best thing is that I can save some frequent entries and reuse them again whenever I need to.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

What I dislike is that I can’t log in to it online; it can only be used at the office.

QuikBooks assists me with various accounting features for my business. My favorite aspect is that it keeps my data organized and in one place. The software is user-friendly, and I can track business costs, inventory, payroll, and more. I also like that there are different editions for various industries so if I want to expand, I am able to purchase another edition.

**What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?**

My only issue is that the cost is high, and as features stay the same the cost increases.

**What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payroll is one of the biggest challenges, and not having to outsource payroll is a bonus.
