Excellent SaaS for middle and small companies to run Order Management, Product Management, and Sync with Shopify and other marketplaces. Plenty of features and fantastic development were well done by the Singaporean team. Later on, acquired by Intuit, so the name changed but anyway still an excellent tool for running a distribution business efficiently and smoothly. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Commerce?** 1. limitation to the US market only, 2. current customer service provided by Intuit is wrongly organized, so practically, it doesn't work. 3. missing iOS and Android App for QBC since acquisition time by Intuit. **What problems is QuickBooks Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?** Excellent management for product database, multi-price lists, multi-currencies, perfect sync with Shopify, well-organized image database, B2B online panel for collaboration with your Partner, and at the same time sync with many marketplaces. ### 2. Also, the native integrations are easy to set up. Some reports provide good easy value. The support team has some valuable players. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Commerce?** You need many workarounds to get things going. The integrations with marketplaces don't let you use all your locations to provide inventory. It lacks warehouse managing features and bars code scanning. It's difficult to trust the information in the system since it doesn't have a proper workflow that matches "real-life" processes, so you end up changing key information. It has been purchased by Intuit, and the product seems to be downgrading (for example they are losing their open API). **Recommendations to others considering QuickBooks Commerce:** Unless you have very simple needs, try other software before. **What problems is QuickBooks Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?** This software handles our inventory and orders, and it balances the inventory between sales channels to avoid oversells. It also provides information on our inventory, COGs and other relevant data. ### 3. Support is usually a lengthy phone call of 60+ minutes. **What problems is QuickBooks Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use it to track our financial and human capital data (payroll). There are of course numerous other options in the marketplace for ERP, and we are in the process of transitioning to a new one (NetSuite) ### 4. Additionally, you cannot make a mistake! QB will notify you if you are about to do something wrong, to make you double check. The chart of accounts is great, accounts payable and receivables. It is easy to pay bills and enter bills. Keeps track of credit card purchases and reconciliations are a breeze. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Commerce?** I think it can be difficult if you have your accountant using it as well. There are times that we are blocked out of entering GL codes, etc. that make it difficult to continue on with your job. Some of the reports are hard to find so when you find them, mark it! **What problems is QuickBooks Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have been able to save a substantial amount of money by using QB to its full potential. As long as you enter everything correctly, you can always go back through and generate cost savings. ### 7. The software's category section was also, at times, very limiting and would have been more helpful if there were more options available for organizing your products. **What problems is QuickBooks Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?** Quickbooks Commerce mainly allows the company to stay organized when dealing with multiple inventory orders, bills, and invoices. While using QB, you only need an accountant to review the books periodically. QuickBooks always verifies that you want to delete prior to deleting and will give you nudges to ensure you are on the right track. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Commerce?** I prefer the desktop version to the on-line version. I feel that the desktop is far more powerful than the on-line version. **What problems is QuickBooks Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows complete tracking of reimbursables, which is a big winner. In a law firm, it is essential to be able to back bill clients accurately. With the addition of being able to save a pdf bill to the file, that is great! ### 9. For example, you can ask to show everything in two different parameters like FOB shipping or FOB destination which helps you when you work in retail. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Commerce?** I don't like that the application is not up to date. There are new FASB rules and AFRS rules that this application has to be aware of, but not everything is known to it. **What problems is QuickBooks Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?** The benefits of using the applications are really there. It is very intuitive and easy to understand quickly. Very helpful when training new employees. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Commerce?** Sometimes we refer to it as "slowbooks".
