They wish me to solve their problems. I searched my colleagues who may know sectors. My colleagues mentioned Spotlight. I offered my client Spotlight. I help them with the process of initial installations. They tried the spotlight and get happy. They easily streamlined the casting process for their professionals as well. This ensures that you're notified when performance metrics deviate from the desired range, enabling proactive problem-solving. **What do you dislike about Spotlight?** I do not feel many limitations as such but , The monitoring and data collection processes used by Spotlight can consume system resources, potentially impacting the performance of the systems being monitored. Spotlight's extensive capabilities might require a learning curve for new users. Setting up and customizing alerts, dashboards, and reports may require some expertise. **What problems is Spotlight solving and how is that benefiting you?** Spotlight is benifitting me in the following aspects 2.With Spotlight we are able to identify performance bottlenecks in databases, servers, and applications. By pinpointing the root causes of slowdowns, we can take corrective actions to optimize performance and reduce response times. 2.The tool monitors resource utilization (CPU, memory, disk, etc.) and helping us identify overutilized or underutilized resources. This information enables efficient allocation and utilization of resources, maximizing system efficiency. Database Issues: Spotlight is able to diagnose database-related problems such as slow queries, deadlocks, and contention issues. This ensures that databases perform optimally, enhancing the user experience of applications relying on them. ### 3. Best Quick Monitor Tool for Oracle Database **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Jae M. | D, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2023 **What do you like best about Spotlight?** I have the Spotlight Dashboard Running on a separate monitor screen that allows me to do all my other Database Administration tasks and still allows me to see how the Database is running and if there are any issues going on. The Green, Yellow and Red/Flashing Red coloring allows me to not have to focus on the monitoring, but only when the Yellow and Red Appear. **What do you dislike about Spotlight?** The initial setup of Spotlight for Oracle on our AWS Cloud was a bit tricky, but once I could get past the setup issues, the Software has been working flawlessly. **What problems is Spotlight solving and how is that benefiting you?** Spotlight on Oracle allows me to not have to run DBA Scripts or use Oracle's cumbersome Enterprise Manager to monitor my Oracle Databases. The interface is THE BEST Monitor Tool on the Market. I have heard that the Quest Foglight is going to replace Spotlight...I hope I heard WRONG!!! ### 4.
