It helped us to sync our users, groups and other AD objects wihout any issue. It's best features like SID history migration, option of enabling/disabling objects at source and destination and countinous sycn are the most flawless features which cannot be matched with any other product. We also migrated our servers like file and application servers from one domain to another domain without loosing the existing access. **What do you dislike about Quest Migration Manager?** Lisencing cost is the thing whcih makes it a bit pricy. **What problems is Quest Migration Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had the requirement of merger and demerger of comanies and to move their it infrastructure and service we used it to migrate our identity services and workloads. ### 2. I have done many Lotus Notes DB content migrations to SharePoint. - Selection of Source DB and Target site feel most straightforward manner. - You can easily migrate all attachments to the target SharePoint site. - The best part is Quest also appending the whole picture of the Lotus document in Sharepoint's Body field. It will help you to refer to the Source content from your Target site only, which means no need to go back to see it in Source DB. - While creating migration, you can save the job, which can be used in similar applications as well. **What do you dislike about Quest Migration Manager?** Configuration of Quest Manager takes little tiime, which needs to be simplified. Transferring all Lotus Records with attachment in SharePoint site. There's no official support yet for this and trying to execute scripts on the boxes you migrate to mitiage this has been a challenge as well **What problems is Quest Migration Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have about ten sites that need to he merged with anywhere from 5 computers to 50 plus, the automation features and ability to schedule tasks make it very handy to automate. ### 5. Between synchronizing users and attributes , managing workstation migrations, and the sync scheduling, it's a very comprehensive product. It can be a bit complicated, but that's to be expected given the number of features available. We also needed to reach out to their support team a few times, and the staff was very knowledgeable of the product. **What do you dislike about Quest Migration Manager?** After purchasing the product, there are a few days of required training involved. I would've preferred to have more written documentation made available initially to get prepared. Also, it can be a bit tricky at first to limit the scope of synchronization after the jobs and permissions are in place. **Recommendations to others considering Quest Migration Manager:** This is a great product to facilitate domain migrations without much manual intervention. **What problems is Quest Migration Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** This utility was used to synchronize/migrate a domain with two child domains. We did have some special scenarios to work around involving Exchange users and their related mail attributes.
