## QMetry Test Management Reviews
  ### 1. Easy Test Case Management with Smooth Jira Integration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul B. | Solution Architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

I like that QMetry Test Management makes it easy to organize and manage all the test cases for our software solution. It works well for tracking test coverage and quickly seeing which test cases have been run at any given time. It was also straightforward for my team to implement QMetry, and we use it daily. Another big plus is that it integrates easily with Jira, so we can rely on Jira as our single pane of glass for both tickets and testing.

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

The test case list can get unwieldy and become hard to parse if we aren’t diligent about keeping it clean and organized. That said, this feels more like a process and people issue than a technology issue.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QMetry helps us manage test cases for a frequently changing, complex, multi-tier cloud solution. When our cloud vendors release new versions of their products, we use QMetry to test and confirm that core functionality is not impacted by those releases, which helps us stay confident as the solution evolves.

  ### 2. Feasible tool for software Testing.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mitul M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2023

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

QMetry is a tool, where users can write Test cases and make a Test Suite (include numbers of Test cases in one place for Execution). They also can attach any Test script with an individual Test case.

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

If your role is the only user, you can't delete the Test suite once after its creation. Yes, but you can modify it anytime.

Another thing is if you had executed the test case and at a time other users were performing the same test suite, then who had updated the suite last will show in the report.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Track the number of test cases in one place with creation time, execution time, how many times it has been performed.
Reports are generated in different formats with the user name and ID with start and end times.

  ### 3. Qmetry

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohit V. | Programmer Analyst , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2023

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

I like best about Qmetry is it's END TO END Testing.

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

Cost and complexity these are the two things that i dislike about Qmetry.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It takes more customization efforts.

  ### 4. A great Test Management solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akhilesh R. | Test Automation Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2021

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

Uploading test cases and executing them in test cycles is very user-friendly and easy to understand.
Requirement Traceability Matrix and generating customized reports is efficient.
Integration with JIRA for defect management and Jenkins, GitHub for CICD is seamless and effective.

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

While uploading test cases from the template, the Assignee field does not upload the proper value.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using it as a Test Management tool for logging defects and tracking stories, epics.

  ### 5. Test Management tool review, to understand the gadgets and Defect/ Execution analysis reports

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arjun L. | Senior Test Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2020

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

QMetry Test Management is a very user friendly tool, the GUI is rich with content and tips to easily navigate through the various screens and options. The Customized Dashboard with the gadgets both predefined gadgets as well as the customized gadget enables the Users to extract the data or the visual report in exactly the way the User prefers it! The 'QMetry System Reports' functionality additional provides the User with predefined tabs and reports so all the User needs to do is click on the type of reports that the User wants to view and use. The best part of QMetry is it's seamless integration with other tools like JIRA, Maven, Jenkins & Bamboo. For Automation testing, the QMetry Automation studio makes life easy for automation testers by smooth transition from manual to automated testing and most importantly it leverages on widely used test automation frameworks like Selenium and Appium.

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

The tool lacks intelligent analysis, which can be provided to Test Managers or the PMO team with remedies or suggest corrective actions when things are looking bad from a test management perspective and the project is off track such as Test execution progress lagging behind or too many Critical or Blockers defects pending fixes, etc.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The best benefit realized till date was making use of the System reports easily to generate Test execution reports in PDF format or Excel format, the Visual reports helped a great deal in realizing the reports exactly the way I wanted it!

  ### 6. Good Test Management Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Crystal H. | Sr. Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2020

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

I really like the usability of the tool as a whole. I'm able to figure out the tool without much guidance which is nice to have in a test management system. The integration between QMetry TM and Jira is very clean and simple.

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

The admin screens are a little tricky to understand. When looking at the fields it is hard to understand what should be in that field. Updating user passwords is difficult to do especially for your own username.

**Recommendations to others considering QMetry Test Management:**

Usability is great and a good tool to start out a team.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is nice to have a centralized area for the test scripts and execution. I would like to see more users have read-only access without have to have a license.

  ### 7. Qmetry has great jira integration, but doesn't depend on it to be strong.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary J. | VP Engineering, Data & Platform, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2020

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

Qmetry allows me to layout a clean test plan, without forcing me to automate. This allows us to slowly explore what tests are best, especially for a product that is already existent. Then I can add automation where best. The integrations are strong (though require some attention to detail)

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

The integrations require training for staff that will maintain them. It's not 'zero-think'.

**Recommendations to others considering QMetry Test Management:**

Have a good tech admin to do the setup and education. I tried to hand this off to someone who wasn't prepared to take on that level of cross-system detail. It worked out, as the MVP was enough to bootstrap us for a long time. Take time to setup good patterns in the organization, so that the workflow is durable and valuable.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it to maintain QA for a fintech multi-sided marketplace platform, at a very successful startup.

  ### 8. Great software to store centralized test cases

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2020

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

I like the fact that I have easy access to the user guide when I have questions. The user guide is beneficial and usually answers all of my questions. The flow of the software is helpful as it is very user friendly.

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

The automation testing is hard to understand and to use at this time. I would have an upgrade to that portion of the software.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was able to solve the problem of having a centralized place for all of the test scripts. Our staff no longer has to keep the test scripts on their machine but in a shared area. The QMetry software gives us a way to reuse test scripts and build on the previous tests.

  ### 9. Tool that facilitates the QA process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katherine L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2020

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

User-friendly interface, easy to use, instant metrics, and the dashboards facilitate activities for projects with agile frameworks like Scrum. It allows me to create custom fields, which enables me to adjust the tool to the specific needs of the company.

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

Currently, there is not much documentation and/or tutorials in Spanish.

**Recommendations to others considering QMetry Test Management:**

Implement a tool like QMetry that facilitates the design, execution, and documentation of the testing process, allowing for more agile, standardized, and organized teams.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Little knowledge in building filters through JQL queries. The above would allow me to have more customized metrics.

  ### 10. Evaluation of QMetry

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2020

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

Jira being one of the leading Agile project management tool in the market, the QMetry integrates like amazing with Jira and one of the leading test management apps. If it is about upsides, probably, it is Atlassian verified and how the permissions management is done in Jira. Jenkins plugin for importing results is one more important feature I love as it helps in promoting Continuous integration and Continuous deployment with a quality gate to do continuous testing.

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

Not a dislike but, I would love it if QMetry already has a comprehensive reporting mechanism. However with Agile testing, if we can introduce a Agile testing kanban board integrated with test management it would be wonderful within Jira to extend the agile philosophy to testing and test management. Also I would look forward for a feature around QMetry plugins for GoCD platform.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it for test management and quality control. Benefits realized are seamless data integration between Jira and QMetry, Easy management of test scenarios, test cases. Detailed management of test steps and conditions etc. Some times ti takes time for QMetry TM to show the data back from Jira and vice versa. This is sometimes introduces delay in overall things to progress.

  ### 11. An effortless way to create and track test cases

Regardless of the size of your organization or your QA team it is a flexible platform that will help you in managing the test management process and build your automation framework.

Test cases are quick to create and test run reports are easy to create and understand.

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

Not sure if it's a Jira or a QMetry issue but test cases are loaded without steps on the new Jira's view. Another thing is when I add a bug on a test case from a test run I have to link the test case on the bug manually.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organisation, order, coverage, reports

  ### 19. I am the Product Owner of a Test Tooling Team who is responsible for these tooling

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2019

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

QMetry has shown that they understand the way we want to go with our Test Management. They also understand that test management(QA) is a vital topic to bring value to our customers. QMetry has more capabilities then any other Test Management tool that we have reviewed. QMetry also showed that they are able to go the extra mile in terms of collaboration to make the tool better. This not only from our perspective but also for other pears.

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

There is at this moment not much what I dislike. We would like to be able to influence the road map for QMetry. We have the CAB nearby but once a year is not enough. We should set up regular meetings to discuss the requirements with a customer engagement officer or similar.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QMetry gives us the ability to integrate easily with our workflow management tool(Jira). It also gives us the ability to track and trace our tests. In this, what has been tested, what was covered and where is the evidence. Next to that we are exploring the automation part as well.

**Official Response from Disha Thakkar:**

> Thank you so much for your review. We really appreciate you taking time for providing us valuable feedback. We take our customer's feedback seriously and try our best to resolve problems as soon as we can.

We were very pleased to hear you are enjoying your experience of working with QMetry and it's integration capabilities.

  ### 22. Thumbs Up!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2019

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

I like being able to automate test cases using JS and Python

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

Having to repeat setting up a test cycle.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiency! Efficiency! Efficiency! Efficiency! Able to organize multiple test cases across different development teams

**Official Response from Disha Thakkar:**

> Thank you for your useful feedback.

We are very happy to hear that you have found efficiency gains using QMetry and its organization capabilities across projects and teams. We understand the need for automation integration and offer support for multiple tools and frameworks.

For setting up test cycle without repeating -
1. Test Suites in a Cycle can be reused across a combination of Release and Cycles. One does not have to create the Test Suites for multiple releases and cycles.
2. Also, there is "Copy" Test Suite functionality that would auto copy the test cases and other details from a Release and Cycle, instead of manually creating a new one every time.
Here is the link to our Support Documentation for "Copy" feature - https://qmetrysupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/QPro/pages/377815261/Bulk+Operations#BulkOperations-BulkCopy

If you still have doubts, you can reach our Support Team by mailing them on qtmprofessional@qmetrysupport.atlassian.net

Thanks again for your review.

  ### 23. A good basic test management suite

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** George T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2018

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

Its ease to learn how to use and basic functionality make it a good choice when needing a test management solution quickly.

Importing test cases and test requirements is easy through the import wizard. There was a little setup involved to integrate Jira with the tool but after that it was all good to go.

The dashboard is quite good and allows you to customise your own graphs and charts for each test cycle.

The tool has support for multiple platforms.

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

Pricing model changed every year and had to budget for the price increase. Also setting up a new test cycle for each subsequent release could be made easier and a lot less repetitive. Also the user interface seemed a little archaic compared to other tools out there at the moment. It seemed to emulate a windows interface. More modern tools go with a web based interface which is a little more intuitive and easier to use.

**Recommendations to others considering QMetry Test Management:**

It is a good basic tool but the value for money could be improved as there are better tools on the market with a lower price at the moment.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of managing test activities across all projects. It allows you to import test cases and requirements and to set up test cycles and saves test runs for future reference.

During and after a test cycle you are able to view test status and other diagnostic charts to track test progress and estimate test cycle time to help with future test runs.

**Official Response from Disha Thakkar:**

> Thank you so much for your review, George. We really appreciate you taking time for providing us valuable feedback. We take our customers’ feedback seriously and try our best to resolve problems as soon as we can. We are pleased to inform you that we have revamped the UI of our product which is modern, smart and intuitive.
Based on end user feedback, we have released a new version of QMetry that has a simple and intuitive web-based UI that solves most of the issues you mentioned. The scoping of Project, Release and Cycle has been made simpler and you do not need to create a release/cycle in advance every time you plan your testing activities; instead you can tag them when required. The test suites are now at the project level and do not have to be defined with every release and cycle.
In addition, the test case and test suites can be reused across release, cycles and even projects.
This advanced, newer version of QMetry Test Management also enables easy integration with 3rd party tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, Bamboo and many others. This allows instant sync ups and real time updates between the integrated platforms.
For detailed information, relevant work flows and screens, you can visit our support documentation page - https://qmetrysupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/QPro/pages/35586883/Managing+Projects+Releases+and+Cycles#ManagingProjects,ReleasesandCycles-AddingaRelease/Cycle
The help link explains how to configure the releases and cycles for a project and link them to the testing artifacts.
Warm Regards,
Disha.

  ### 24. Good test case management tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Atif C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2018

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

1. The new UI is nice and clean and looks modern
2. I like how I can organize all the test case in a functional way that works for me as in the previous UI

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

1. Once I drill into a test case for a detailed view, the hierarchical test case column disappears and I have to go through clicking into different folders again to find the test case I was working on

2. In order to reach the Left to Right scroll bar and pagination, I have to scroll down all the way. Its not the end of the world but it can be tedious.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It organizes all test cases for different products in the company

**Official Response from Disha Thakkar:**

> Dear Atif,
Thank you for your kind words and valuable feedback. Your feedback helps our team to enhance and improve the product continuously based on real user scenarios and problems. We have released the new version of QMetry Test Management with completely revamped UI, to give our users a seamless experience.
(1) With respect to your point 1), in the new release, we have been able to resolve the issue regarding the test case detailed view. When you will close the test case from the detailed screen, it no longer resets your folder navigation, instead you will be kept in the same folder where you left . We have also simplified the process of filtering on the assets along with the organizing, managing and performing different operations on the folders..
(2) We have also made changes as per point 2), of your feedback. In QMetry Test Management, now you don’t need to scroll all the way to the bottom or to the right of the screen. We have now provided a box with horizongal and vertical scrolling bar in the centre of the screen. For each of the relevant modules, like user stories, test cases and test suites, you can see the respective testing artifacts.
Thanks, Atif for such a detailed review. It truly helps us to improve our product.
For detailed information, relevant workflows and screens, you can visit our support documentation page –
https://qmetrysupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/QTM85/pages/907838361/Test+Cases+Module
The above-mentioned link will explain in depth about configuring the test authoring.
Warm Regards,
Disha.

  ### 26. I honestly hate it.

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

We started using Qmetry after Spira. Spira had many features available that Qmetry does not and I cannot say I don' t miss them. Qmetry requires that you go through each and every single test case and click pass one by one. It is EXTREMELY time consuming. When you have a test set of let's say 4 tests for one feature back to back, you can easily test them all right then and there. (ex. login with bad credentials/good credentials = pass/fail) so if you test all 2 or all 3 or all 4 tests in a row, having to go through and manually pass each one can be a hassle.

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

Time consumption and lack of easy UI. We trained for months on qmetry to get it right. So many hiccups and so many issues. You cannot delete certain things. You cannot perfect your UI for your test plans. It is so annoying to use a product that makes it difficult to do things accurately.

**Recommendations to others considering QMetry Test Management:**

Don't. You will get frustrated. Unless it is your genuine hobby to constantly redo your work, just don't.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Honestly, nothing has necessarily gotten better since implenting Qmetry. I will say though that depending on who is in charge of the projects, we have organized our test plans better than ever before because qmetry takes up so much time, we had to reduce our test plans as much as possible to avoid repitition and constant pass/fail manual entering

Organized view of holding test cases, as it does work like it should.

It is very slow and sluggish. The GUI freezes up and just frustrating at times when importing things.

Definitely play with the software, and to see if the speed is up to par of what you would like. It is frustrating to use but it does its job.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lets QA build test suites and also add new test cases so we do not miss out on testing.

  ### 31. QMetry Test Management Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2015

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

somewhat simple design. i like the idea that people can be held accountable for their work but any good test case management would perform the same task.

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

- somewhat simple design but hard to navigate and find features
- some tasks such as adding or updating new platforms is somewhat confusing and difficult to perform
- uploading attachments never worked for anyone
- generating reports is not very intuitive and somewhat restrictive
- i personally hate it when the test cases are ordered by alphabetical order because it gets out of order when you view them. i'd always have to manually insert a number in front of my title so that it stays in order, but if i need to add additional test cases since i can't anticipate all test cases from beginning, it would mean i'd have to re number all the others again....
- anyone can modify the test cases, which includes the ability to delete test cases, but there is no log or ability to restore test cases
- there are a lot of features that most everyday user do not use
- certain simple tasks that don't need to be locked out from normal users can only be performed by admin users which causes delay
- changes by admin users don't take effect for a long time

**Recommendations to others considering QMetry Test Management:**

I'd personally look at other software

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

detect web app issues, it helps keep people accountable for their work.

  ### 32. QMetry Test Management Survey

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

1. Having a repository for all test cases and ability to have test suites that can be customized
2. Allowing multiple users to access the same set of test suites w/out overwriting tested data
3. Importing and exporting from and to a .csv document
4. Edit on the fly and the ability to update the root test cases from the Test Suite
5. Administrative abilities to see progress and get analytics.

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

Would like QMetry to sync up with a ticketing and project management system

**Recommendations to others considering QMetry Test Management:**

I recommend QMetry, it's a valuable tool to have for small to large Quality Assurance teams

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Test Case Resource and history for auditing purposes

  ### 33. Slow way to document test cases

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2015

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

It works, doesn't do anything extra special. It's nice that the cost isn't that high.

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

Interface is slow, not a lot of features, takes too long to enter test cases. it would be nice if this integrated into Atlassian for our company easier without a lot of hooks.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to document test cases for our manual testing for QA. As a developer, I have the option to input additional test cases. Unfortunately, our documentation in JIRA has to be manually copied into Qmetry, which makes it a pain for me. I find it nice that all of our manual QA testing can be found in one place.

  ### 34. Effective but the slow response times sours the experience

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bernard P. | Quality Assurance Test Engineer, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2015

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

Easy to organize the test cases and incorporate them in test suites.

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

The Slow response time sours the experience with the tool. The learning curve with using the application is quite steep.

**Recommendations to others considering QMetry Test Management:**

Proper setup must be completed to ensure that the application response time improves.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The test cases are easily managed and thanks to the versioning feature we can revert back to the previous version of the test case.

  ### 35. Great Test Management System

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2015

**What do you like best about QMetry Test Management?**

The ability to keep all test cases in one place. The ability to track the testing progress.

**What do you dislike about QMetry Test Management?**

Sometimes the application was laggy and slow to respond. Also, the interface for creating test cases is not as user friendly as it could be.

**What problems is QMetry Test Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to write test cases in excel. Now all the test cases from every project can be stored in one place and easily accessed by different team members. It also makes it easy to track what has been tested and what has not and who tested it.

  ### 36. It gets the job done - will continue to use
