QDA Miner does not offer a video/audio analysis interface to allow users to code and analyze video and audio documents. This seems to be a serious oversight in this day-and-age where video data sources are ubiquitous. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The easy-to-use capability of sifting through large volumes of text (from single or multiple documents) and to perform cluster extraction, expression retrieval and keyword retrieval is amazing. All of these capabilities are very powerful on their own for the business user and become even more useful when exported directly over to its complementary product---Wordstat. I use the product as both a data scientist in industry and as a data science instructor in the masters degree program at Elmhurst College (Chicago area). It is the perfect tool for my applications. I loved the fact that I could download emails and pull out variables from tagged text files. I also appreciated being able to create my own dictionaries from running searches. Moreover, the videos provide step by step instruction for (almost) any question would come up.
