**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hardik S. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2022

**What do you like best about python sql?**

As SQL is simpler and easy to use and provides a narrow range of functions than Python and on the other end Python has a vast range of functions.

Together it will be like an amazing combo.

Python provides access to many Databases.

Among all of them, SQL is one of the databases which we can access using Python Language.

We can develop a straightforward application to interact with SQLite, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases.

**What do you dislike about python sql?**

Scope wise if we see, that SQL has a lesser or limited number of functions for processing, querying or experimenting with the data.

Also using Python, sometimes slow down the processing time i.e take more time compared to any other language, that is a very less amount of time but yeah it takes more time.

**Recommendations to others considering python sql:**

Must use very easy to learn and very friendly.

**What problems is python sql solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So based on the purpose of the query, Python SQL helps in various ways like processing data, extracting data, querying and fetching the required data.

Also with python, we can just nail it by using various python libraries like pandas, scipy, NumPy, and scikit-learn.

  ### 4. Easy method to integrate the SQL with django python website

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2021

**What do you like best about python sql?**

It is an easy method to integrate the SQL with the website and it automatically creates the bridge between the website and the database server and closes when the works have been done so its an easy python library for the SQL integration

**What do you dislike about python sql?**

As far I don't found any dislike about this library it is working fine for me.

**What problems is python sql solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is saving lots of time and effort so don't need to write all the code to make the bridge between the website and database server.

  ### 5. Make bridge between the website and database.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankush s. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2021

**What do you like best about python sql?**

As a developer no need to do custom programming for making the bridge between the database and the website.

**What do you dislike about python sql?**

No reason for dislike not found any defect.

**What problems is python sql solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No need to create the custom file for the connection of the database and no need to close and open the bridge this library do all this by itself.

**What do you like best about python sql?**

We can easily import this module and run the python SQL package and then run the SQL queries. It is very light and easy to use after importing the module.
Python SQL is the best because by using this module we can run our quires on the POSTGRESQL database directly from my local machine.

**What do you dislike about python sql?**

It is an open-source module of the python but still, there are some trouble in finding some support for it besides documentations.
Sometimes troubleshooting errors can be a little imprecise.

**Recommendations to others considering python sql:**

Try it out and see how you feel after a few weeks before making an initial decision. You will love it.

**What problems is python sql solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By using this Python module I got a powerful way to run my queries on our database efficiently and got something which easily integrates with our existing framework.

Has methods that simplify how to write SQL statement. You get take advantage of python's brevity to make shorter commands that perform database operations. It has a well written documentation for reference.

**What do you dislike about python sql?**

It is a little tricky to understand if you're already familiar with SQL syntax. The database manipulation code using python sql is not easy to read especially if it is written by someone else

**What problems is python sql solving and how is that benefiting you?**

python sql provies shorter syntax for making sql statement which is a time saver

  ### 10. SQL package for python workflows

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John Paul S. | Rewards Live, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2019

**What do you like best about python sql?**

I like python SQL because it's a very good way to run native SQL queries within a python interface. It is relatively easy to import and using it is a breeze and I can share steps for other teammates to use this package with me.

**What do you dislike about python sql?**

There isn't much support for python SQL and that is perhaps the only downside and I wish there was more adequate documentation.

**What problems is python sql solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems I am solving with python SQL is the need to efficiently run SQL queries in a way that is repeatable and can yield the analytics results that we need in a timely manner because python is a synchronous language.

**Reviewed by:** Rogher N. | Linux Driver Validation Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2019

**What do you like best about python sql?**

Besides all the syntantic sugar that Python provides for writing scripts in structured manner, it's fast and easy to maintain. Being python it can be ran under windows or Linux without protability concerns also.

**What do you dislike about python sql?**

In contrast to other python libraries, documentations can be hard to find.

**Recommendations to others considering python sql:**

Find bunch of examples on the web and modify to your liking and test it out before deploying with business data. Easy to fat finger mistakes and hard to debug.

**What problems is python sql solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automate converting fairly large set of CSVs to sqlite database. Once tables are setup the way you want it's fairly easy to get the script to extract the data you want, it can be quite a time saver.

  ### 13. Free database organization helper for coders

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenn G. | Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2019

**What do you like best about python sql?**

Works directly as an add-on for python, using the same language to do many versatile things. Overall fairly pleased wit its inner workings

**What do you dislike about python sql?**

Python is a fairly rudimentary language, its one of the easiest to learn but within database organization I did not entirely enjoy using python sql. I prefer having a more front end visual approach, like using Access to manage databases. This is a preference rooted in your comfort with coding, I am not as familiar with python versus other languages, so it did not suit my needs well.

**Recommendations to others considering python sql:**

if you are comfortable with sql and python, this might be the best and free option for managing databases under a git file structure. Otherwise, you may want to switch to Access.

**What problems is python sql solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Database management was fairly easy however visually was a nightmare to operate when compared to Access for instance. It was however nice to have full control over databases instead of a program like Access. Really its a preference to use one or the other and if you are proficient with python and sql

  ### 14. Easy to handle excel data

  ### 21. Effective, Powerful Query Language

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2019

**What do you like best about python sql?**

I love the vast array of functions and how much overlap there is with traditional python. It's very convenient to be already aware of python and be able to use this query language within the same skill set. It integrates well with our stand-alone python and stand-alone sql.

**What do you dislike about python sql?**

Sometimes the syntax can be a little clumsy and troubleshooting errors can be a little imprecise, as with a lot of database languages.

**Recommendations to others considering python sql:**

This is a great selection if you need a query language that can handle a variety of functions and big data. It's also relatively easy and intuitive to learn and master in a short period of time. In our experience, it should integrate well with any existing python or sql you have in your system.

**What problems is python sql solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding a powerful way to query our database efficiently and find something that smoothly integrates with our existing framework.

I like how easy to use this program is. It has wonderful help functions that allow for aid when a script doesn’t go as planned. It also is easy to connect to other platforms.

**What do you dislike about python sql?**

I dislike how sometimes I have to reset it. When I initially started using Python SQL, the windows would not display correctly and I would have to reset the program in order to understand the outputs shown. While this was annoying, once I understood the quirks, it worked well.

**Recommendations to others considering python sql:**

Try it out and see how you feel after a few weeks before making an initial decision.
