What do you dislike about Proxy-Seller?
Proxy-Seller needs to clearly disclose its FUP rules before purchase. After my renewed rental period began, 58 IPv4 proxies were placed under FUP by the following day. Support confirmed that the threshold is dynamic and cannot be disclosed, and that once FUP is triggered, the restriction remains active until the next renewal. Replacing an affected IP does not remove the restriction.
The dashboard does not provide traffic statistics for individual IPs. Support advised me to buy more proxies, but could not explain how many I would need because neither the actual usage nor the allowed traffic level was available.
In a separate pre-purchase chat, I asked about using IPv4 proxies for continuous scraping. Support initially said that exact FUP figures were unknown and assured me that scraping would not cause problems. After further questions, they stated that the approximate threshold is 100 GB per IP for 30 days and explicitly confirmed that this equals only 3.33 GB per IP per day.
This figure is not disclosed on the IPv4 purchase page, despite the service being advertised for scraping and high-volume data collection. According to support's own estimate, 100 GB per 30 days equals only 3.33 GB per day, or an average throughput of approximately 0.31 Mbps. Even a modest workload of one 50 KB API response per second transfers about 4.3 GB per day, before accounting for protocol overhead.
Support nevertheless claimed that 3.33 GB per day is sufficient for scraping and suggested that higher usage must involve video streaming or large-file downloads. My workload consists of continuous monitoring of ordinary API data, not media downloading. Under these restrictions, the IPv4 proxies are not suitable for continuous or high-volume scraping, and advertising them for such use without clearly disclosing the actual limits is misleading.
My refund request was rejected based on the date of advance payment, even though the renewed service period started later. When I continued asking specific questions, support classified my messages as AI-generated spam and threatened to restrict my access to the chat.
Customers need clear FUP thresholds, visible traffic statistics for every IP, automatic recovery after reducing the load, and a fair refund process when significant service restrictions are not disclosed before renewal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
