Proposal XL Reviews & Product Details

ProposalXL is proposal software for engineering firms. It brings a firm's templates, past proposals, scope language, people, projects and billing rates into one system and produces two kinds of proposals from that record: scope-and-fee letters for clients who already know the firm, and competitive responses to RFPs, RFQs and statements of qualifications. For a relationship proposal, the client's request starts the letter in the firm's format, scope comes from the firm's own library, and the fee is built from hours at the firm's rates, with the margin shown before the fee is set. For a competitive pursuit, the solicitation's requirements, sections and page limit become the outline of the response, each section gets an owner, and the response is checked against the RFP and the firm's own rules before it goes out. Résumés, team pages and project pages come from one current record of the firm's people and projects. Edits are tracked by author and time, every proposal and its status sit in one pipeline, and the finished document is produced as a PDF on the firm's letterhead and brand standards.
