"Robust Security with Easy Setup, But Pricey"
5/5
What do you like best about Progress ShareFile?

I really appreciate how seriously ShareFile Virtual Data Room treats security. The 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption for data transfer and storage gives me confidence when sharing highly sensitive documents. Additionally, the integration with Outlook to send secure links instead of attachments enhances security by default, and I can apply security controls at send time. I also find the setup process much easier than expected for a tool designed to handle sensitive data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress ShareFile?

I feel that ShareFile's pricing can be high relative to the value provided. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Complete peace of mind, a secure repository, and a well-structured workflow!"
5/5
What do you like best about Progress ShareFile?

Everything I need is in one place: I can create secure folders with client access, send large files easily, and even sign them digitally. Honestly, it was such a relief. The platform gave me full control over access and expiration dates, so I was able to share reports with external partners during a recent audit without worrying about privacy. I felt confident right away that all my documents were being stored securely in a professional environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress ShareFile?

I feel compelled to mention that, despite its capabilities, the sheer number of options shown on a single board might make its interface feel cluttered at first. However, once you master it, you'll love how much power you have over everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure, Seamless Collaboration for High-Stakes Transaction"
5/5
What do you like best about Progress ShareFile?

It is a secure cloud based solution for diligence and IPO's and other high stakes confidential transactions with high security and easy to implement to our work desk with ease of integration and access of various stations and devices through a secured network as we use this software about 4-5 times a day to transfer highly confidential data to the workstations to get our work done and also its ability to give us access controls to every sensitive deals that are specific to any group and share only the allowed permits. its collaboration tools are highly recommended as it has an integrated module for e-signature and folder for Q & A which help streamline the document review and deal making process. its customer support is highly educated and super qualified and resolves our issues within minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress ShareFile?

Its pricing is way too high and giving less storage basis on charges they offer and some of its advanced features are so strong that for new users' needs to get customised collaboration which help them to ease their work and its interface is less Morden and less design focused. "ShareFile works - Reliable, accessible, available."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Progress ShareFile?

My original statement still holds true, but now we access our ShareFile from various access points and devices, which posses no issues. The platform still operates very efficiently and effectively for our purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress ShareFile?

We had to option for larger file transfer, but that was due to our own doing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Setup and Strong Security, But Room for Improvement"

What do you like best about Progress ShareFile?

Simple setup and familiar UI so non tech people can use it fast. Encryption, two factor, audit trails for sensitive deals. Integrations into Microsoft 365 (Outlook, OneDrive), Google Workspace, Salesforce, Zapier and more. Inbuilt VDR features like templated folder structures, email alerts and dedicated due diligence workflows. It offers a flat / per user VDR plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress ShareFile?

Not the cheapest for enterprise deals. Few Security concerns are there. Advanced VDR features sometimes limited to higher tiers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple and Secure Document Sharing Tool"
4/5
What do you like best about Progress ShareFile?

Progress ShareFile is very easy to use and offers a secure way to share, store, and manage files. I appreciate the clean interface, the straightforward permission controls, and the ability to track file access. Overall, it makes collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders much smoother and more organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress ShareFile?

The pricing feels a bit high for smaller teams, and some of the more advanced features take time to learn and fully understand. Performance can also be slow at times when working with very large files, and there are a few areas where the UI could look more modern and up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy automation using API"
4/5
What do you like best about Progress ShareFile?

It has a solid API which helped us implement some automations in our work processes without too much effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress ShareFile?

Limit of user amount in a distribution groups - this forces us to create new distribution groups. Since we also rotate a lot of people we then remove them from the older groups which results in empty space and it's very clunky to try and change the group ids in our code all the time. I also don't like that a user page doesn't have any information which groups is the user member of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
