On top of that, we’re able to build a UI that gives business owners more support and control as they consume the results and manage any domain data they’re responsible for. **What do you dislike about Profisee?** Larger data sets in the portal UI can become difficult to manage for business-focused users who mainly need to edit, add, and maintain the data. Additionally, the matching engine is strong and has a lot of different options to suit your needs. **What do you dislike about Profisee?** There are some limitations on the product from a UI/UX perspective that perhaps pigeonhole the product a bit more to North America-centric. For example, there is no ability to have a multi-language web portal, which is critical for a global company like ours with a significant APAC and EMEA presence. **What problems is Profisee solving and how is that benefiting you?** Profisee has been integral in our data cleansing, preparation, and transformation of data and data structures as we aggregate and migrate our data from multiple global legacy ERPs to one global instance of SAP S/4 Hana. We've been able to bring all our source system data into Profisee to leverage the address verification, DQ rules, matching and survivorship, and more to clean the data so we have that 1 global golden record and source of truth for customer, supplier, and product data. The product is always improving (2 new versions per year). With the SaaS version, it is easier to maintain and upgrade the platform. The support time is very responsive within a day. The Profisee portal is also user-friendly. Data quality rules feature improves data quality in our MDM system. The integration with Profisee using API calls is easy to implement. Our Profisee instance is accessed constantly by Data Stewards in 8 countries around the world. The platform's integration options include real-time eventing and a comprehensive API. Profisee Support is readily available and highly knowlegable. As the business initiates new products and markets, we are able to stay out front by rapidly developing and deploying master data and configuration entities to support the projects. **What do you dislike about Profisee?** We have a couple of open tickets that are proving to be extremely difficult to troubleshoot. Profisee Support is actively engaged, but we have yet to determine a root cause for some anomalous behavior. We've developed a set of diagnostic queries that pull together information from the system logs, data history tables, and various metadata resources, and still can't pin down exactly what's happening "under the hood". Our Profisee instance is necessarily complex, and the interactions of data steward activities, scheduled integration jobs, Data Quality Rules, and Real-Time Events makes this very challenging. Nonetheless, it seems like it shouldn't be this hard to figure out what's going on. **What problems is Profisee solving and how is that benefiting you?** Until we migrated to Profisee a few years ago, the majority of our mission-critical master data was source-of-record in a legacy platform that was last supported in 2005. After cut-over we were finally able to complete the decades-long project to replace and retire the legacy platform. The benefits can hardly be overstated, including to our data governance capabilities, ease-of-use for our business data stewards, and ongoing support and development of the Profisee application itself. ### 15. It enables us to create matching and survivorship rules and strategy in an easy an intuitive ways. In addition, it makes the data stewardship job simple and easy. The Profisee support team is excellent and responds almost immediately to all our questions and they try their best to resolve the problem to our satisfaction. **What do you dislike about Profisee?** We would like to have a possibility of seamless load balancing and failover between multiple Profisee servers. We would like to have a better support for a real-time saving, matching and survivorship. Currently, the way Profisee works is that it loads the matching index on one server and there is no way to use the same matching strategy on the second server at the same time or at least it is not easy to set this up. The administrative learning curve is very short, and there are multiple interface options for users of varying maturity and responsibility. Security is robust, allowing me to architect the environment in accordance with best practice rather than user specialization. Maestro is the only MDM tool I have used, but certainly not the only vendor I have had a business relationship with. I can say without any hesitation or qualification that the Profisee support team has no equal in terms of responsiveness, product knowledge, or candor. The quality of support has without question expedited my implementations and maximized the value of the product. ### 18. It took everything that I had wanted to show and made a very seemingly clunky piece of data look much more professional and more digestible for my customers. It also allowed us to track and on board vendors more quickly. **What do you dislike about Profisee?** The enterprise workflow was sometimes hard to manipulate to follow the sequence I wanted. Sometimes it would not allow me to edit the task so I could lay out exactly what I wanted in a specific place and I would have to restart the flow from scratch. Also I would like to see more in the academy than what is provided now. **Recommendations to others considering Profisee:** I recommend that you use their support whenever needed. They are knowledgeable and will save you a lot of time by just asking them questions you have. Also their follow up is great so if you do not get a hold of someone right away, they respond quickly. Also, do not be afraid to ask for changes,they listen to their customers and try to integrate other solutions to meet your needs. There might be some improvements with scalability in high-transaction, multi-node environments and the underlying WCF technologies - possibly enhance to REST. **What problems is Profisee solving and how is that benefiting you?** Conversion and migration is very good. The survivorship and matching are phenomenal. Our data teams get tremendous value from the Desktop software to query MDS data. ### 26.
