ProCal allows me to space out my calibration requirements by having the ability to fix solid dates. ### 2. It allows us to identify the model and address issues in different processes. It can also develop customized reports that help to plan major outages. This platform also manages a wide range of devices along with their inspection and the test schedules. **What do you dislike about ProCal?** It would be beneficial to have more capabilities beyond the Fluke DPC. If it has the ability to create an application that simulates a fluke device on the mobiles then it would be highly advantageous. **What problems is ProCal solving and how is that benefiting you?** This platform is instrumental in justifying the changes in frequency and identifying the defective components within our process. It has also helped us make informed decisions regarding the which manufacturers to work in future projects ### 3. Helps us to manage frequencies of Policy driven work. Allows us to pinpoint, model or manufacture issues in different processes. We have developed Reports to help with planning major outages at sites. Other devices maintained in the application include thousands of Pressure Relief Valves (PRVs) with their inspections and test frequencies kept here. Not only is it good for devices to be supported, but we also have hundreds of NIST (certified) test equipment managed here. **What do you dislike about ProCal?** Would love to see more interface capabilities besides Fluke DPC. For instance, create an application to emulate said Fluke on a cell phone or Android tablet. You could then perform inspections and UEV (User Entered Valued) events on these devices. Again, Not looking for a complete instance, just a simulation of what already exist on a Fluke DPC Calibrator. **What problems is ProCal solving and how is that benefiting you?** Selfishly, I can say it helps me justify frequency changes as well as help bring out the defective components within our process fleets. And helps us prioritize which selection of manufacture we want to use in future projects. ### 4. It can transfer the data to cloud or server which is quite helpful. **What do you dislike about ProCal?** It's cost can be more attractive by reducing a lit bit. Other then this nothing else to mention and it's already best as per the requirement and effectiveness for day to day activities. **What problems is ProCal solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's help to calibration data management and server to cloud data storage and help to maintain the instrument details and improve the life span of instrument to improve plant optimum utilisation. ### 5. The entire process of entering a calibration is easy to use. From reverse traceability to highlighting out-of-tolerance results **What do you dislike about ProCal?** There is a specific tab for user-defined fields, but each tab should have a few extra fields for ease of use. All fields can be renamed, but a few extra in each tab would be helpful. **What problems is ProCal solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to move away from paper-based tracking and documentation. Also, with a paper-based system reverse traceability is very difficult. We have been using this since 2010 and have no regrets about the software. ### 6. You can have multiple facilities under one app and each can have custom fields to fit their needs. The calibration data can be as detailed as you want it to be. Either no test details, just update the due date, or every test point recorded. Customer support is outstanding! They were great migrating our data over, answering questions and explaining how different fields interact with each other. They also offer training classes. I've been a believer since 2016. **What do you dislike about ProCal?** ProCal comes with dozens of built-in forms but if a custom form is needed you have to buy a specific report writer or commission them to do the work. Their forms price is very reasonable though. **What problems is ProCal solving and how is that benefiting you?** In 2016, we needed to move on from an obsolete discontinued database. We researched instrument databases and found ProCal to be the best. ProCal was easier to use in several ways. ### 7. Plus, The Customer support is top-notch **What do you dislike about ProCal?** Just a couple of minor gripes, the keystroke searching could be a tad smoother, and those drop-down menus for calibration data points could use a little tweak. But Honestly, they're pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things. **What problems is ProCal solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is the friendliest and the best software out there. It was the only package that allowed us to create separate sub-databases for instruments in different locations. That flexibility was a big step in it. ### 8. Additionally, there are some minor factors that can affect the search process, such as keystroke searching, as well as the drop-down menus for the units in the calibration data points. **What problems is ProCal solving and how is that benefiting you?** The installation of this program was quick and it operates with relative ease. It is my most comfortable software. It helps me to keep my daily work on track. We have been using it since 2019, Nothing to compaint about it. ### 10. This software is a critical part of our calibration program and allows us to quickly and easily present data to auditors and quality team members. The software also makes it easy to keep us on track and ensure that all calibrations are completed before the expiration date. **What do you dislike about ProCal?** Integrating Crystal reports can be cumbersome when printing documents as hard copies. The issue is most likely within Crystal reports and not ProCal. **What problems is ProCal solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easy control of the documents allowing for quick and accurate traceability for all users as well as auditors. ### 12. It was a nightmare to work with. We had an additional add on from the traditional calibration management to manage maintenance.
