Our goal is to narrow the gap between development, security, and operations by making security an intrinsic characteristic of web applications development life-cycle, and only report security vulnerabilities that matter, false-positive free and with simple instructions on how to fix them. Probely allows Security teams to efficiently scale security testing by shifting security testing to Development or DevOps teams. We adapt to our customers’ internal processes and integrate Probely into their stack. Probely scan restful APIs, websites, and complex web applications, including rich Javascript applications such as single-page applications (SPA). This enhances the security of our systems By scanning web applications and API, it allows us manage lifecycle of vulnerabilities that have been found. Helps to fix the identified vulnerabilities by providing guidance on how to fix them. This makes it easy for team of developers and engineers fixing the issues found. It is easy to use du to its user friendly interface and its implementation is also smooth when done by the right personnel. **What do you dislike about Probely?** Offers limited customization and this may limit those that use it due to the customization and reporting not matching with theirs. It can take a subnet or a range for scanning in one go and gives a full report including the URL when scanning a web application. **What do you dislike about Probely?** Nothing really to dislike. The vulnerability is scanner is totally accurate. **What problems is Probely solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's type of scans bring us complete results when we carry out an analysis of the network. It checks for compliance with various web security standards. **What do you dislike about Probely?** There's not much wrong with the tool. Just a couple of minor things. If you have to change the target of your scans at some point, for whatever reason, you have to ask their support ot do this. They have done this quickly whenever we have asked for a change. The other minor issue is, if the scan target is changed, all the historical scans are labelled with the new target name. This could be misleading. For example, we were scanning clear on a site of ours and suddenly issues were reported. It turned out that site had moved away to another supplier. We changed the target but the records now make it look like our current target had a blip where issues appeared. **What problems is Probely solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is a very good front-end vulnerability scanner. In our line of business it's important to be able to show you take steps to detect and remove vulnerabilities in web apps. ### 5. This report also has suggestions on how to fix, and then can be presented to potential customers as evidence of a secure app. ### 13. It meets our compliance requirements and allows for continual scanning and remidiation. **What do you dislike about Probely?** While we used a paid version - the free plan does not allow any targets and its easy to use up the scan hour credits. Other than that we don't have any compliants about this tool. **What problems is Probely solving and how is that benefiting you?** Web and API integration allows us to scan the defined targets. The weekly digest email along with the compliance reports satisifes our requirement for compliance. ### 15. Set the initial url, login page, and security profile, and it's good to go. I don't have a thousand vulnerabilities that are garbaje, and I only get vulnerabilities that are real. We are now able to perform continuous scanning! **What do you dislike about Probely?** Nothing serious. It would be great to clone target settings, **Recommendations to others considering Probely:** Be careful on performing scans on production / live websites. We perform a full scan on staging and only a sage on production, **What problems is Probely solving and how is that benefiting you?** For the 1st time, we can start scanning before deploying to production, and the developers get the vulnerabilities (and the fix instructions) on our Jira. When they fix and close the issue, it's automatically retested. ### 18. It is one of the easiest to set up, it covers a wide range of tests, including scanning behind a login, and the customer service is excellent and very personalised. **What do you dislike about Probely?** I can't think of anything that I dislike about the product. **Recommendations to others considering Probely:** A worthwhile investment if you have a web property of medium to high complexity that needs to be protected. **What problems is Probely solving and how is that benefiting you?** Following several years of fighting hackers and spammers, I decided to commit to an automated tool for finding security weaknesses in my site. Probely found numerous issues, categorising them as high, medium and low, and this allowed me to priortise what to fix first. The issues found were explained fully, well evidenced, and they even provided instructions for fixing the issues. As a result, I am now much more confident that my web property is secure and I have not had any hacking incidents to deal with since I started using Probely. ### 19. Everything in the available in the web Interface is on the API, so it saves me and my team of developers a lot of time. **What do you dislike about Probely?** Still waiting on the Jira integration. But they have it in their roadmap, so hopefully it's coming soon. **Recommendations to others considering Probely:** Make use of the API. I suggest you adding Probe.ly to your CI/CD timeline. Additional, you can integrate Probe.ly with your slack channel **What problems is Probely solving and how is that benefiting you?** It makes security so much easier for our developers.
