What do you like best about Pro Edition for Eclipse Mosquitto?

The Mosquitto is a lightweight and easy to set up MQTT broker. Useful for setting up small IoT backends. Available for a lot of hardware and software platforms including ARM and Linux. The main advange of Eclipse Mosquitto is its simplicity: you need just to establish your topic(s) and start broadcasting MQTT messages from your data souces to any receiver subscribed to the corresponding topic(s), e.g. for IA elaboration or monitoring. What do you dislike about Pro Edition for Eclipse Mosquitto?

The downside of the simplicity is ofcourse the lack of advanced features of more complex tools like Kafka. Nevertheless security and scalability have been improved since v3, becoming less immediate for newbies in configuring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Pro Edition for Eclipse Mosquitto solving and how is that benefiting you?

I had a number of IoT sensors at home, which I needed to monitor. With Eclipse Mosquitto Pro ediction I removed the necessity of having a locally deployed broker, putting it on cloud, available 24/7. The monioring values are sent to subscribed applications for visualization and further elaboration, supplying a Decisio Support System on cloud as well. First and foremost is the rapid support, those guys promise to respond within 24 hours but it often feels like they reply instantly. It does not have all the advanced features provided by more robust messaging software.
