"Solid hosted CMS with enterprise feature-set with good support from Prepr"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Prepr CMS?

The biggest upside for us is the support and features. Choosing a CMS service instead of hosting yourself is a trade-off. You give up some level of control in return for a dedicated team that supports, hosts, maintains, develops, etc. Prepr responds quickly, thinks along, invests in your project and the CMS is very feature complete. What do you dislike about Prepr CMS?

From a developer perspective: downside is not having direct access to the system. Again, this is the trade-off between self-hosting/using a service. I'm happy with this trade-off since Prepr was very helpful during implementation, even with supporting us in the more technical areas e.g. during data migration. "Smooth Editor and Flexible Components, but Real-Time Page Preview Would Help"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Prepr CMS?

I love how smooth the editor feels. When migrating content, which is what I do most often, you don’t want a clunky UI slowing you down. Preprs components make it really easy to structure text beautifully and add media on the fly, keeping the focus entirely on good content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prepr CMS?

Sometimes I miss a true, real-time visual preview of how the text looks on the actual page. Since it's headless, you're often looking at abstract components. For a copywriter, seeing the exact final layout while typing makes formatting a lot easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Custom Solutions Made Easy with Prepr CMS"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Prepr CMS?

I use Prepr CMS to create custom solutions for a large set of clients as part of a digital agency. I like its deeply integrated A/B + Personalization features, which make content for client-side content editors more interactive, going beyond just static pages. It's also a great affordable alternative to enterprise CMSes with A/B/personalization features like Sitecore or Optimizely. Moreover, service at Prepr CMS truly means service: you can have direct contact with their teams about the product, which is of great help when setting up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prepr CMS?

I would say that content publishing views are quite straightforward, long forms of inputs underneath each other. Very Drupally. Which is fine, but with the rise of AI, how can UIs be further optimized than just long forms of input? Also, from a developer's perspective, configuration of the CMS is mostly done via web views. It would be great if configuration could be consolidated more. This is now done throughout the web portal, while a specific developer segment or maybe even a CLI tool would speed up development, especially with the rise of agentic AI. "User-friendly No-Code Solution with Price Tag"
4/5
What do you like best about Prepr CMS?

I find Prepr CMS an interesting app because it is a no-code platform. Before I worked with Prepr, I always looked somewhat negatively at no-code, but actually, with Prepr, you can do everything you can with other CMSs like Sanity or Drupal. Prepr saves you a lot of custom solutions that are the same in many projects. It's like a package where you can do almost everything you need. Additionally, the simplicity of the setup is pleasant, because everything was self-explanatory and it was quite simple. It also works very well with different projects like Firan and e-hubs. "User-friendly and Flexible with Powerful AI Integrations"
4/5
What do you like best about Prepr CMS?

I love Prepr CMS because of its user-friendliness, simplicity, and flexibility. The AI translations are very useful, and I look forward to further AI integrations that can make the content management process even faster. The intuitive user interface allows users to get started with minimal training. I also appreciate that personalization and A/B testing are integrated, enabling marketers to easily set up experiments within the CMS. The solution offers both content management and personalization and A/B testing right upon delivery, and the combination of the CMS and hosting platform from the EEA is a plus. It is an affordable integrated solution that takes a lot of work off our hands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prepr CMS?

I have not yet encountered any real limitations. From a development perspective, more can be done in terms of automation, for example through a more extensive content management API in which models and components can also be realized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Fast and Easy-to-Use Modern CMS"
5/5
What do you like best about Prepr CMS?

I like that Prepr is fast and easy to use. The interface feels intuitive, the AI tools are genuinely useful, and the content workflow makes it smooth to manage and publish content. Overall, it feels like a modern CMS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prepr CMS?

The main issue I’ve noticed is that the CMS is occasionally unavailable. I’m not sure whether this is caused by Prepr itself or the underlying infrastructure, but when it happens, it can interrupt workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"More than a headless CMS: content management, personalization, and A/B testing in one"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Prepr CMS?

I have been using Prepr for some time now for content-driven websites and marketing platforms, and what particularly appeals to me is that it is more than "just" a headless CMS. It combines content management with personalization and A/B testing, without the need to immediately integrate various external tools. This makes it especially interesting for teams that are serious about conversion and lead generation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use, Great Integrations, and a Polished Look"
4/5
What do you like best about Prepr CMS?

Looks nice and is quite easy to use for the most part. The plain prep is good, and there are enough integrations to fill in the gaps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prepr CMS?

Unstable occasionally, during development ran into several bugs but they were fixed quite fast so that is nice. Only real gap with prepr cms is the forms integrations these all rely on embeds and i would like a more native solution to guard quality etc of the website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive CMS"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Prepr CMS?

The interface is of the CMS is very intuitive and easy to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prepr CMS?

Working on it with multiple people (as a developer) can be quite difficult because when someone makes a schema change it breaks for everyone doing local work. There are also (what I feel) as a lot of downtime compared to self hosting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Learn, Feature-Rich CMS with Flexible Block Editing"
5/5
What do you like best about Prepr CMS?

Beyond being easy to learn, it includes all the features you’d expect from a solid CMS, which makes it a well-rounded choice overall. I’m particularly impressed with the ability to place blocks directly in content fields. It’s also clear that the team is committed to improving its capabilities and helping the people who use Prepr get the most out of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prepr CMS?

I don’t have any major issues with it overall. The main thing that comes to mind is that it can be difficult to keep track of menu items that share the same name on the frontend but actually serve different functions. I'd like an option to give them a different name for the backend only. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
