We have been already using Namecheap for Domains and Hosting so it was only logical to use them for their PremiumDNS service as well. Namecheap has garnered an excellent reputation over the years for quality service and customer support which was important to use. There is some minor UI/UX design annoyances I didn't like with it but nothing major, most DNS services don't have the best interface either, it's kind of hard to design around what this entails at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At Course Researchers we have been using Namecheap hosting services, and they usually offer BasicDNS and PremiumDNS. We upgraded to Premium DNS, and since then our website has never went down. The fast services offered by PremiumDNS have been fundamental in boosting our business. Unlike the free DNS, PremiumDNS is amazing in boosting the website sales through traffic generation. Despite PremiumDNS having the huge benefits to the user, it may be very costly especially when it becomes insecure. Namecheap PremiumDNS offers quality services but provides an avenue through which the hackers can attack your website and either steal customers' sensitive information or bring it down. For example, I once received an email notification that my Namecheap IP address had been locked out of site for brute-forcing and trying many times to access a file that did not exist. I was a bit worried, because that has never happened before only to realize that the DNS was insecure at the moment. Although the attack did not affect my business because of the extra security I have in place, I think Namecheap should work on its PremiumDNS and make it more secure.
