The developer experience is seamless. Getting started is so easy and the flexibility of the framework goes so far beyond anything else I have used. As powerful and comprehensive as Prefect is, it comes with a rather steep learning curve. New users might find it overwhelming due to the multitude of configuration options available. Prefect is the easiest-to-use flow manager I've used. the preexisting github repos and how-to youtube videos helped me get set up quickly and allow me to manage flows as a one-person team. I'm not a data engineer but my responsibilities include some data engineering, so the low bar to entry really gives Prefect an edge over a tool like airflow which requires a more extensive knowledge of tools like ECS and Docker in order to create and maintain a project.
