## Port Pricing FAQs

Generated using AI

Is Port free, or does it offer a free trial?

Yes. According to G2 data, Port offers a free plan with limited features. Users can upgrade to paid plans for additional capabilities. Visit the seller's official pricing page to compare plan options and features.

How much does Port cost in 2026?

According to G2 data, Port pricing in 2026 starts at $30.00 and can reach $40.00 depending on the selected plan. Pricing may vary based on billing terms or usage, so users should review the Port's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is Port pricing best suited for?

Port's pricing is best suited for Mid-Market engineering teams (51–1,000 employees), who represent the majority of G2 reviewers and consistently praise Port's self-service actions, software catalog, and workflow automation for managing growing DevOps complexity. Industries including computer software, financial services, and IT services appear most frequently in G2 reviews of Port. The free tier fits small teams or early-stage platform engineering evaluations. Port's Basic tier suits scaling Mid-Market teams needing commercial support and higher entity limits. Port's Enterprise tier targets large organizations — particularly in financial services, retail, and automotive — requiring SSO, RBAC, single-tenant deployment, and dedicated customer success to drive adoption across thousands of developers.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Port?

Port's free tier provides full platform access — software catalog, AI agents, scorecards, workflows, actions, and interface designer — capped at 10k entities and 500 automation runs, with community-only support. Port's Basic paid plan at $30.00 raises the entity ceiling to 50k, adds commercial support, multi-level permissions, and BYOLLM. Port's Enterprise tier adds SSO, RBAC, event-based self-service architecture, single-tenant deployment, data locality options, AWS PrivateLink connectivity, and a dedicated customer success team. G2 reviewers frequently cite support responsiveness and scalability as key upgrade drivers, with enterprise users specifically valuing the flexible data model and multi-workplace capabilities unavailable on lower tiers.

Is Port considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers give Port an average of roughly 4.2/5, signaling solid satisfaction relative to pricing. One Mid-Market financial services reviewer explicitly flags that 'the price point is a bit rough, still waiting for our ROI,' suggesting Port's paid tiers represent a meaningful investment. However, the volume of high ratings paired with praise for flexibility, self-service actions, and blueprint customization indicates most buyers find the value proposition compelling once deployed. G2 reviews of Port consistently highlight support quality and extensibility as justifying the cost. Teams with complex DevOps automation needs tend to report strong ROI; smaller or less mature platform engineering teams may feel the cost pressure more acutely early on.

What do you like best about Port?

Working with Port has been really smooth thanks to their fantastic support team. Whenever we need help, they're quick to respond and really know their stuff.

What I love most is how easy it is to make Port work for our needs - you can add your own integrations if you need to, plus there are lots of ready-made ones from both Port and the community.

The interface is super easy to use, and you can set it up so different team members see exactly what they need without getting overwhelmed. It's really helped our team work better together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Port?

Our biggest challenge has been creating value for our individual contributors to drive them to the platform. The value is most clear and easily explained to our leads and managers. They exist, but I would like to see more guides or best practices on this topic from the industry or similar customers of Port. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
