I recently started using Pliant and I'm really happy with it. The interface is user-friendly and makes automation super easy, even for someone like me who's not super tech-savvy. The support team is responsive and helpful whenever I have questions. It's definitely a great tool for simplifying tasks and saving time. Pliant is generally good, but I find it a bit pricey for small businesses. The initial setup was also a bit confusing, and it took me a while to get everything running smoothly. We're not afraid to hire but every hire counts. And what they do every day really matters.. to me personally. Early on our users started asking for connectors to apps like Jira and slack and Hubspot and I knew from experience we could do it but it was going to take time. Pliant has been an amazing tool for our team to bring to market tons of new integrations for us to leverage with our existing user base. A big selling point in my industry is needing to have integrations and before using Pliant we had 3 full time employees working to maintain our existing APIs and build new ones with little progress. By switching to Pliant they were able to immediatly expand our integration base by over 3x which saved us tons of time going to market and being able to focus on the areas of our product that can further our growth. If there was one thing I would look into how to change would be to have a few start flows available but after the first few minutes getting adjusted it was easy for even me with no code background to be able to adjust and edit flows on my own. Pliant is solving the issue of spending our own developers time working on integrations rather than them spending time working on our core product features. This has never been their experience base so by adding Pliant we were able to make that piece of our product workflow easy and spend no time on it anymore. My agency provides strategic marketing solutions for Pliant, and we have worked together for over two years throughout their rapid growth, as well as our own. About a year ago, I explained that we were having some challenges with various tools and how they interacted, and the Pliant team offered to help. After having positioned their products in materials and programs, once we were on the other side of the fence as users, I realized for the first time that the product was more technical than I had anticipated. As we began growing our business and working with more and more clients, it pretty quickly became clear to me that no two of our clients' tech stacks were ever going to look alike. No matter how much we wanted to normalize our processes and provide common, repeatable ways of (for example) reporting on success metrics, we would never be able to with such a diverse set of platforms and tools to deal with. Pliant helped us build workflows that integrated a number of disparate systems in ways that just weren't consistently possible with out-of-the box connectors and APIs. Pliant works like some of the more consumer-friendly automation tools out there, but it's much better at building complex workflows. If you know to drag stuff to build an automation for gmail, you can use this virtual machine and the apps that run on it; slack all the stakeholders, and be done in time for a nap.
